If you like multi-generational families, enemies-to-lovers and slow-burn spicy romances, put Brotherhood of the Border at the top of your reading list.

Book To Love a WarriorLady Isolda will not be forced into a marriage with a Scotsman. This warrior comes to claim her with a wild tale, a battlefield vow he made to her father when he lay dying in his arms. A vow to marry the earl’s eldest daughter. To marry her.

Except Isolda is already betrothed. A fact her father knew well.

Unfortunately, the Scot refuses to leave Bramton. He claims her father willed their marriage just before taking his last breath. As all of Bramton mourns the earl’s death, Isolda finds herself unable to deter this Scotsman, who remains steadfast to his story. Instead, she is increasingly drawn to him, Conall Kerr filling every room he enters with a commanding presence.

Fraught with uncertainty, will Isolda give into her desire for a man she’d been told to hate?

Book Son of an EarlThey disliked each other from first glance.

Sir Hugh is immediately wary of the mysterious woman who lurks in the shadows at his cousin’s wedding. He would not allow anyone to put his family’s safety at risk, not even a beautiful Italian-born Frenchwoman whose obstinance Hugh finds strangely intriguing.

When he finally learns Lady Criseyde’s true purpose, his attraction for her only intensifies.

Now they are working together, his desire for her proving nearly as dangerous as their mission as he escorts her north into the Scotland borderlands. By the time Hugh and Criseyde reach the outlaw William Wallace’s camp, Hugh is nearly willing to follow his brother’s foolish path toward love.

Until disaster strikes.

Hugh must rely not only on his training as the son of an earl but also on the lessons he learned from his father's old friends— the infamous border reivers—if he is to save Cressida.

In truth, if he is to save himself.

Book A Lass of His OwnNone would dare challenge him.

Even Boyd Kerr’s close companion, William Wallace, known for his prowess with a sword, refused to engage the Scotsman.

Lady Galia had no such qualms.

The countess single-handedly held off an English army clamoring at her gates for months. Though she proved as fierce as she was beautiful, Boyd had a mission to complete, and Lady Galia’s refusal to accept his aid put Wallace’s plans in jeopardy.

He was becoming impatient with her, despite his admiration of her wit and will. But as the days, and the siege upon Gurstelle Castle, wore on, Lady Galia was faced with a choice between independence and her growing attraction to a man accustomed to winning.

No matter the cost.

Your escape awaits...

Cecelia Mecca is the bestselling author of steamy historical romance and also writes contemporary small town romance as Cissy Mecca and romantasy/PNR as C.L. Mecca.

Armed with a Ph.D. and lots of chai, she's known for giving readers "heroines who you want to be your best friend." When these ladies meet alpha-males who try to gain control, sparks fly until the very last page. One reader says, "No one can so completely whisk you away like Cecelia."

Our Highlander-loving author can be found in Northeast, Pennsylvania thinking up new ways to tame both medieval and contemporary bad boys. She is firmly House Stark and Gryffindor and loves all things fantasy, especially when tinged with a bit of steamy romance.

The background of Scotland during the time of William Wallace and all the intrigue and alliances that make life on the Scottish-English border dangerous make the perfect setting for these books. The characters feel very real as they struggle to find trust and love and peace in such tumultuous times. All the stories in this series are different but the characters are interrelated, so having them together in a boxed set is perfect. I especially love the story of Boyd and Lady Galia. They are such strong and powerful characters that you can feel the sparks fly, as well as the heat. These books have so much more to offer than the two-dimensional romances where nothing happens. Do yourself a favor and get them all!

Having read all of the novels, I fully recommend this box set with swoon-worthy heroes who fight with honor and love their ladies fiercely. Set in medieval times, the author has masterfully brought the period to life through well-researched storytelling, making one's heart pound as they face their enemies in high tensile action and heart-warming romance. Although characters from previous books appear in these novels as well, each romance is a standalone and they all come to a conclusive and happy ending. Any person who loves historical romance will not be disappointed.
