Valentina

I don't know the secrets that lurk within my sorority, and apparently neither does anyone else.

My search for the truth behind the disappearances meets with blank stares and pleas of innocence.

But someone knows.

They're watching. They're waiting. They're hiding. They're attacking the man I love.

The only way to put an end to it is to bend the Sallys to my will.

I'm taking over and hunting the kidnappers down.

Before the next person to disappear is me.

Jaxson

Valentina and I share a lot of things: a love of music, dancing, and the feeling that someone is out to get me.

A year of playing servant to the wealthy, demanding, and talented is what I expected.

But I wasn't ready for sabotage, malicious whispers, and an unknown enemy following me wherever I go.

Wicked is the one who promises with their lips but lies with their eyes.

When the unthinkable happens and Valentina is taken, I make a promise of my own.

I will save the woman I love... and destroy anyone who gets in my way.

Wicked is a reverse harem college romance and a continuation of the Evergreen Academy series. This is book one in the series and features language, dark themes, and sexual scenes. If you're cool with that, dive in!

Love Jaxson with Val!!

This book was a great addition to the series. I loved getting Jaxson's POV with Val's and seeing how they are with one another. This was full of twists and turns and things you don't see coming until it hits you. The ending was left on a small cliffhanger with lots of questions for us to read about in the next book and I can't wait to start it!!!

Fantastic book

I fell in love with these characters in the Evergreen Academy series. This continuation into adulthood and their college years is amazing. Each book highlights a different male main character. An undercurrent of danger threads throughout but it definitely isn't predictable!

after months of waiting, its finally going to continue!

Jaxson is my least favourite of those four and the book itself was just fine.
still enjoyable tho
and big mysteries still remain unsolved

can't wait for the third book.

This one focuses heavily on Jax and also on the FMCs role in her sorority. Interesting major plot stuff going on but that ending? Something seems fishy!

Losing Interest

I’m not sure how to explain my thoughts on this book. Maybe it’s just ‘overkill’..
There’s already this super strange unknown stuff going on with the sorority and fraternity but a crazed stalker too. What’s next? Aliens?
Seems like everything and the kitchen sink is going into this series.
Plus, I’m not sure I’m into this process of each book focusing on one guy. They are a group. This makes it seem so singular.

I just realized, after reading this book, that Ruby is making each of the guys have their own book so to speak. I mean, yes there are parts in each book with all of the different guys, but each one is have one of the guys as the main character, well besides the FMC. I kind of wish that Jaxson's dad seen her as a win and offered her something for dancing, like on music videos or something. I wish there was more interaction with her and his family.

Probably one of my favorite books in both series. Jackson has never been my favorite of the boys but this book really changed my opinion of him.

I loved Ruthless but Wicked was even better. Once again this book continued the overarching sorority and fraternity mystery but it also introduced another mystery the warped up at the conclusion of the book similar to the sons of slaughter plot line in Ruthless.

As much as I liked this book I was once again left felling it was too short each book is supposed to be 1 year and 221 pages isn’t nearly enough to cover a full year in these characters crazy lives. The second book is titled year 2 but it ends around Christmas so there is still half a year left. So if this pattern continues idk how they will jump to year 3 with where the second book was left off.

I liked that this book was a bit more sexual then the first one and heavily focused on the alone time between these characters which I loved. Ezras book was a lot more tame compared to Jackson’s which perfectly represents the two characters.

What I missed about the first book that wasn’t really seen in this book was some of the more lighthearted parts such as the Halloween scene in the first book. My favorite scenes are always the ones involving all 4 guys.

What I crave from these books is more interactions amongst just the guys we are finally seeing there point of view and I would like to see some of the conversations that go one between just the guys and there dynamics with each other. It’s been said that they love each other almost as much as the love Val in previous books however, it’s not exactly seen in the books.

I found papa van zandt to be one of my favorite characters during this book he was so supportive and the scenes with him were almost always funny. Especially the ones with Jackson jealous of him and Val.

I also loved seeing the characters from battle break as babies. I especially loved Cole, now I’m curious how he went from that child to the closed off character her was in the battle break series. I’m hoping the next two books show us a little more of them as children.

All around very happy with this book and can’t wait to read Mavericks book I’m so excited to see inside his quiet exterior.

This book is mainly about Jaxson and Valentina, but all the boys are in the story. Sophomore year at Somerset University, member of the female fraternity and still suspicious of the fraternity's and people who took part in the events of that last book, Valentina is trying to have an average year. Her heart won't just let the disappearances go. After the oops at the end of the last book, her boys are more protective than ever of her. Now with a bodyguard in tow, she gets the opportunity to become the leader of the female fraternity. Maybe then she can get the answers she needs to solve the mystery. At the same time, we see Jaxson working hard to balance life with Valentina and his job. This book is also twisted and exciting. But it does eventually solve at least one issue in their lives. While all this is happening, Valentine is working on another with Maverick. But her safety is a priority.

The author did a great job of creating a suspenseful romance with plenty of darkness in the corners to intrigue the readers. I loved how the original characters were all present even though they weren't the focus. Our heroine comes a long way in this book, trusting herself and her family. Despite all the craziness going on, she didn't totally lose it. I love how solid and mature Valentina is in this story.

Wish I read it right after I read the evergreen series. Lost some of its effect on me since it was so long since I read the first series.

Harem is already together in this book. So you miss all the of getting together stories. And I think that’s what I was really missing from the story, personally.

Lots of drama. A bit unrealistic. But still kept me reading. I was wrong about the twists and turns the story took many times. So it kept me guessing.

I would recommend them. But only as a continuation right after reading evergreen.

A quick pause

Wicked was a good read, and I’m taking a little break before finishing the last two. I wish I had known going in that this is a different series than the first three books—it really should have been separated. Having it all under one series, even with the same characters, just makes it feel way too long and a bit confusing. The story is enjoyable, but I feel like splitting it up would make it more manageable. Overall, it’s a solid read with some good twists, but definitely not as spicy as I expected—maybe a 2 out of 5 on the spice level for me.

This series is going downhill. Maybe the problem is that I read the series featuring Valentina’s son first, so I got into this and the one that preceded it because I wanted to know about his parents. But this is a bit boring. Also, Jaxson is my least favorite, which didn’t help. Since he is not in college with the rest of them, the author added a crazy stalker plot to insert some drama into this book, but it was ridiculous. Honestly, I kept reading because I wanted to get to Ryder’s book.

What a great little story!

This book had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. The suspense and mystery was great throyghtout the whole book. I was constantly trying to guess what was going to happen next, only to be proven wrong. Can't wait to see what the next two years of university hold for Valentina and her boys!

Val becomes the president of the Sallys and is determined to find out what really happened to Teagan and Sawyer. Jaxson is working at the record label to show that he is prepared to take over. Val keeps getting these anonymous threats and Jaxson keeps getting these anonymous gifts. Who doesn’t want them together?

Ruby is amazing!

Ruby’s stories are always a hit with me. She has great character development, mystery, hot sex scenes, and wording. Even though this is a continuation, the college scene makes it feel like a whole new story. I can’t wait to read the last two while I wait for Brutal to come out!

And your next President is...

Wow! I did not see that coming! The powers that be always seems to be one step ahead. I really loved Wicked, from Valentina and Jaxson's POV. It's hard to anticipate where the next threat is coming from. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer is getting more and more dangerous!

Intense!

So, in the second book of the Somerset University dark college romance, Valentine had endured harassment and attempts on her life, as well as continuing to investigate the shaft goings on behind the sorority and fraternity disappearances. The identity of the perp, along with two faced from the past reappearing, has shaken things up decidedly.

Holy Twisted!

This book was gifted with psychos and twists that left me not able to put the book down. Poor Valentina paid for every cruelty known to man, still came out strong and unyielding. True hero. And Jaxson true to form bad ass.

Hook, line and sinker!

If the first book didn’t hook you, this one will! What’s going on in the sorority? Who’s behind all the weird happenings? How will the five juggle their busy lives? Greta reading and intriguing plot line.

Disappointing

I really like how Ruby Vincent with a story for each individual alpha. I liked Jackson because he is fun and wicked. I wanted more interaction with Maverick, Ezra and Ryder and not new characters at the label I didn’t know or care for. I found myself bored.
