A dream that will not die. On September 1st, 1985 the Titanic was discovered nearly three miles deep in the cold North Atlantic Ocean, 350 miles North East of NewFoundland. For nearly 75 years the ship had been celebrated only in legend. Dr. Robert Ballard wrote of his find that his first view of the Titanic lasted less than two minutes but the stark sight of her immense black hull would remain forever ingrained in his memory.

Unsinkable people say yes to responsibility and no to complacency and despair. Some truths for success are honesty and integrity in action, dedication to excellence, determination and tenacity, discipline, positive attitude, enthusiasm and motivation, concern for others, confidence, ability to dream and faith in God.

This was a great book. Definitely one of the most inspirational and goal oriented self help books I have read in a while. As I am trying to pick back up on my reading. The most memory points in this book are the numerous examples of athlete, business men and women, faith leaders, and individuals that accomplished great things in their life although they didn't have the best education, environment, or even physical abilities others had or take for granted.

This book and the examples in it shows that regardless of what your disabilities are, economic status, where you born, or your race we all have purpose and goals in life. But it is up to us whether to accept the labels that are put on us by society and others around us or to wake up and use the gifts we are blessed with to be and do all that we were created to do and help others along the way.
