This is one of the books that literally changed my life.

If you need evidence that this book is a bit outdated, page 220 states that our uniqueness comes from our difficult childhoods. I would have never read this if my therapist hadn't insisted that I would learn something from it. I didn't. That being said, the format was interesting and I did actually like getting to read the stories and experiences of a variety of people. It gave readers the chance to see the perspective of multiple people (some of which could be similar to them). Just because I didn't like or learn anything from this book, doesn't mean that someone else won't. So feel free to disagree with me.
