As I walked past the bookstore, I saw this book and the cover was too cute to just pass by. On top of that, my niece was born in the Chinese zodiac "dragon" so of course I had to get it for her library.
This is one of those relatively new children's books talking about feelings, where they come from, and what to do with them. In this particular book, the emotions are fear and courage.
The little dragon on the cover is called Lino and he's afraid of almost everything. Which is especially problematic as Lino is now old enough to go to school - a new chapter in his life with lots new things waiting for him. But what to do when one is perpetually afraid? Lino will tell you.
As you can see in the example above, the illustrations are too cute to be allowed. The text is very simple but that's on account of the age group it was written for (this is a book made for reading out loud to your kid). How it tells of fear and courage and what children can / should do when afraid, was wonderfully done.
Great, adorable book that I recommend for every child's library.
