Very lovely. Browsed to pick up a few ideas. I really appreciated how Christine Leech set up some vocabulary and basics in the beginning. I'll have to see what else of her's I can find.
I read a review that pointed out how difficult it is to scan the templates, too bad the book publisher didn't have the template pages fold out for easier copying & scanning.
This is a nother beautiful book from the Simple Makes series, basically if Christine Leech has her name on it, I'll buy it but not being a paper crafter was dubious about whether I would make anything in this book. Borrowing it from the library was a wise move as I can honestly say I'd make one thing from the book, it's lovely vintage ladies who look like trapeze artists and that's only because I'd make it for my daughters' circus themed birthday party. A major bugbear with these books is thta they come with no templates included. Not just this book but many , many craft books are being printed withbout paper templates, merely images thta need to be blown up 200% etc. The square format of the books makes this annoyingly difficult, to print you'd need a scanner and a printer which is not always available. I now face a mammoth task, not owning a printer to try and size up the designs. I wish crafting publishers would put online links or something some we could photocpy them more easily. It is very offputting.
Lots of cute projects using paper, some you cut some you glue. Lots of things so anyone could find a project they wanted to create from here. Very cute designs.
