I am a Fan

Wow, what fun ! I have played and understand the game but don’t find many books or time to read about rugby. This was a fun explanation of the game from an obviously English rugby enthusiasts. So if you know nothing of the game or a true lover of it, this is a a fun read.

I bought this book for my boyfriend in preparation for the rugby world cup and decided to give it a little read myself. Obviously it's fairly basic and I knew a lot of it already, but I did learn a few things. It's not one for die-hard rugby fans though! I thought the author did a good job of explaining the basics in a light hearted non-boring way without being condescending. I'd recommend it as a starting point for anyone with little to no idea of the sport who wants to learn.
