This is my first Warhammer Fantasy book.
I felt that it was well written but did rely on a lot of tropes to pull off attempts of humour and plot. The twist at the end was very weak and easily seen but probably better than a riding off into the sunset type.
I feel that it isn't welcoming to those who aren't familiar with the Warhammer universe and requires more than even a casual interest.
I found that the beginning of the book till around the midway point was griping but it lost its steam by the end.

Bland and directionless. None of the characters even know what they're supposed to be doing or where to go. B-o-r-i-n-g.
