Tango with the Alpha's Heart: The Wolfless Girl

Rate this book
“Who is she?" I asked, feeling tears well up in my eyes.

"He met her at the Alpha training camp," he said. "She is a perfect suitor for him. It snowed last night, indicating that his wolf is happy with his choice."

My heart sank, and tears made their way down my cheeks.

Alexander took my innocence last night, and now he is taking that thing in his office as his Luna.

Emily became the laughingstock of the pack on her 18th birthday and never expected the Alpha's son to be her mate.

After a night of passionate love, Emily finds out that her mate has taken a chosen mate. Heartbroken and humiliated, she disappears from the pack.

Now, five years later, Emily is a respected high-ranking warrior in King Alpha's army.

When her best friend invites her to a night of music and laughter, she never expects to run into her mate.

Will her mate figure out it is her?

Will he chase after her, and most of all, will Emily be able to keep her secrets safe?

Let me start out by saying I DNF'd this book...I stopped at chapter 78/120 and I'll tell you why...the book itself started out really good, had some great sass between Luke the Beta, Ghost Alex's wolf and Willow Emily's wolf...It's starts out with Emily not having a wolf and finding her mate Alex who is the Alpha of the Opal Lake Pack and they do the didgeridoo and then she accidentally overhears him talking with another woman who is trying to make herself Luna and a huge miscommunication occurs and she leaves with her bestfriend Mila and Mila's mate Jax...5yrs later we find out that the night she lost her virginity she also became pregnant and the night she gave birth she also shifted into her wolf form for the first time which was necessary because her son was born dead but her Lycan powers brought him back to life and all was well...she joins this new pack and is loved by the King Alpha there and has a good life with her best friend and her son and her best friends daughter...Alpha Alex has been told that he will be stripped of his title if he doesn't find his mate within 5 yrs and he has been searching since Emily left to find her, as he comes upon her and Mila one night in his club he tangos with her, get interrupted by the she wolf and they escape again but he now knows where she is staying and basically says yo you have to give me my mate or it will be war...yada yada Emily has been tracking violent rogue attacks for the better part of the past 5yrs so she goes with Alex back to her old pack to investigate said attacks and displays an annoying amount of doubt and backstepping before Willow her wolf is like ffs give him a chance and knock it tf off...as fate would have it she goes into heat and has to stay with Alex until it passes or "Danger Will Robinson" as she goes into heat she meets with the woman whom she overheard putting the moves on her mate 5yrs ago and of course her son just so happens to come by at the same time with Mila and her daughter...they say their goodbyes and then Alex appears and is like whoa hold up is that my kid?! He doesn't ask Emily he just does some math and figures out boom he's mine...anywho whilst confronting Angelica the b*tch she wolf in his office she decides to challenge Emily to a duel for Alex's hand and subsequently the Lunaship...Emily accepts and the battle is set for a week ish later...during this time Alex takes Emily on a date they are feeling hot and horny for each other and again do the didgeridoo and accidentally end up marking each other which technically could have cost Alex the Alpha role according to bylaws and ish...welp the date of the battle comes and despite the fact that Emily is literally the most powerful Lycan/wolf to ever exist and has super special fire powers and was hand trained by a bad ass ninja warrior...she concedes the fight to this Omega who was clearly cheating the whole time by using magic from another Lycan in the arena which should have disqualified her immediately but somehow they didn't see that she was cheating til it was too late and the she wolf threatened the Emily's son who magically appeared mid battle like non of this whole scene was sus or obviously a set up the whole damn time...Emily should have won the battle on skill alone but lost to an Omega...I dnfed right then and there. I won't finish a book that pulls that kinda bs for cheap thrills and shock factor, it was unnecessary and crap.

This is NOT a complete story. The rest of the story is missing. I fucking HATE PPC products!

DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK!

There are three books in total as this is a PPC story that was published into a book. Between book one and two there are two chapters missing. Meaning book one ends on chapter 39 and book two opens on chapter 42.

I would never normally promote this but if you absolutely want to read this just google search the missing chapters and you’ll get a link for a pdf of the entire story for free.

The only reason I’ve put this option out there is because I hate being ripped off and that’s exactly what just happened to me with this series and by this author. I work a job I hate to earn every penny I have and when I spend it I expect quality control at the very fucking least.

Anyway, good luck.

Not Worth the Time or Cost!

Incomplete sentences. Misspelled words. Incorrect words used in sentences. In addition, the book ends in the middle of the story, with no other book pending.

I found the teaser for this in an ad for a pay per chapter book. It was intriguing, but since I didn't want to spend tons of money to read it, I found it here instead. It could have been a good book/storyline with some effort. Imagine my disappointment having it dragged out just like a pay per chapter, with the book cut off in the middle. Not a true cliffhanger, just a stop between chapters. 🤦‍♀️ Plus, very atrocious writing, grammer, and spelling. Some parts looked like a copy and paste, with parts missing. Very much a waste of time and money. There should be some quality control before selling a novel. It's a shame you can't get a refund for terrible books. Learned my lesson.

So I loved the first few chapters. I really disliked how after she wolfless and was bullied that she didn’t take that and go to a fafo. She was immature and ran away after only hearing a partial conversation. Then disappears for 5 years! Has a child an alpha heir and still was acting immature.
She heads back to her pack and is still fighting the bond. He never cheated and he didn’t take a chosen. She is constantly in battle with her wolf.
Grow up!
I’m glad I finished the first one. A review here told me that he learns of the kid, the accidentally mark each other and she is challenged by the chick that wanted to be Luna 5 years ago.

Here’s what I think is how it ends. The rogue attacks were planned by the wannabe Luna. She was involved in pack finances for ???. Awfully over involved in things that she have been banished for. No is not a word she understands.
End is that they do get together and have more kids.

unfinished book

No where in the description does it say “nothing resolved” This is the first in a series of three that apparently changed the cover for the next two books and do not show a link to the other books. I went ahead and purchased the rest but have black listed the author. Though their writing was good, I don’t like having to purchase two more books to get to the end without warning.

It’s not perfectly written, but this is a fantastic take on the fated mates trope—where the stakes (and the drama) are incredibly high. The tension is razor-sharp, the twists genuinely surprising, and the shifting alliances kept me on my toes. I absolutely loathed that wretched she-wolf and found myself switching allegiances throughout, completely caught up in the subplots. Did this story and series devour a day and a half of my life? Absolutely. Is the writing perfect? No. Are there some distracting grammar issues? Sure. But did that stop me from being utterly obsessed? Not for a second.

Really?

The book is very drawn out for a short story, has many grammar errors, and is kinda boring. The story doesn't go anywhere. Every time the author starts to write about something interesting that should have more details they just stop and go in a different direction. The only thing good about the ending is that the book came to an end.

Great Story

The story is great. There are just some grammatical errors, and the passages that are supposed to lead into the next part don't mesh super great. Some of the breaks in the beginning following her leaving are a bit hard to follow as they jump with no distinguishing stops and starts to know you are jumping timelines. But I love where the book is heading.

Tango with the Alpha’s Heart: Part 1

I love it so far!! It’s amazing 🤩 can’t wait to see what the next book brings!! The energy is amazing, the details and descriptions are spot on! Needs a little editing here and there but still a great read!! I would totally recommend this book to someone else!!

It was slow and I saw the twists and turns in a lot of the scenarios before they happened. I did like the special elements for the characters.

Had to DNF, this book needs a proper editor. I wanted to like it but...no. It just seemed way too stereotypical, in the worst way.

Holds you in

Great book. A bit sparse at times... but holds you all the way! Laughed literally out loud a few times.
