I like the book. I think it is full of information about swimming. I liked how it teaches you the different strokes in swimming. What to wear, to protect yourself when swimming. I also like how it tells you to do a warm-up before going swimming so you won't get a cramp. The only thing I didn't like was that I don't believe that the book is very engaging for young children.

I would use this book to talk about the importance of knowing how to swim. I would bring to the class the protective gear. I would like for the class to take a field trip to the swimming pool, so they could get lessons on how to swim and protect themselves around pools and other masses of water. If not then I would demonstrate how to breath when swimming. I would have the children practice holding their breath. Then I would show the children how to wear the protective gear when swimming.
