Stone and Arianna have known each other for years and push each other's buttons any chance they can. Until Stone steps in and helps Arianna by saying he is her boyfriend. With Arianna’s meddling family and an apartment that is suddenly in need of structural renovations, Arianna and Stone are forced to spend more and more time together. Especially since they are still convincing her ex they are a couple and she is now moving into Stone’s house. The tension, pining, and angst between these 2 is just delicious!
There were moments I wanted to smack Stone for being so difficult and at times downright mean to Arianna. Sometimes he knew he hurt her immediately and regretted it, other times his past history and trauma didn’t even allow him to realize she could be hurting. But once he realizes how much and how long he has loved her, hold on tight because he is not going to let her go.
Arianna is a strong FMC. From her health history at a young age to having an unrequited love for YEARS she always stands strong. She calls Stone on being hot and cold with her because she knows what she deserves once they really start communicating. I loved that she never tried to change Stone or talk him out of how he viewed himself. She simply showed him how he was already doing all the things he was scared of.

Not me spending the entire day in bed ignoring my responsibilities so that I could devour this instead.
It was so good and had plenty of my favourite tropes to sink my teeth into; age gap, brother’s best friend, forced proximity, sassy banter and tension 🥵
Ari and Stone were so cute together! I loved their chemistry and all the back and forth sass between them. There was so much history and such a bond even when Stone had his head up his butt. I loved the way Stone cared for Arianna and how we got glimpses and flashbacks from the moment he held her at birth all the way up to present day. It made for some incredibly sweet moments.
The Santo family and friends were excellent side characters. There was a lot of hilarity and teasing involved and it made the story fun to read.
I loved that there was no third act breakup either. There was some angst here and there but everyone was mature and actually communicated for once.
Overall this was a sweet, fast-paced romance with a dash of spice and a whole heaping of sass that I thoroughly enjoyed. I absolutely cannot wait for the next book!! After all the tidbits dropped throughout this story and then the juicy sneak peek at the end, I can tell it’s going to be a doozy 😍

I love love loved Stone! Definitely top book boyfriend material.
This was a classic enemies to lovers story! The banter between Stone and Arianna was top notch and only added to the chemistry!
My heart hurt for Stone throughout the story when he kept thinking he wasn't part of the family he helped out so much.
I can't wait for the next book in the series!

What looks like it could easily be an enemies-to-lovers romance with the incessant bickering and sass actually turned out to be a super sweet and angsty read when it became clear that neither of the main characters really hated the other at all, but wit, sass, and snark won out over a fear of being truly honest about their thoughts and feelings.
I loved Stone's character. He's the best friend of Arianna's brother Alex and has been like a surrogate member of the Santos family for years. He's troubled by his upbringing, which is completely in contrast to the Santos way of life, and so he fears rejection and feels he isn't good enough. He also makes a lot of misjudgments surrounding money and Arianna's way of life, and we've all heard the saying about when you 'assume' something, and it rings true in this book for sure. Thankfully, Arianna is a pure firecracker, and she gives it back to Stone just as much, which is what gives the image of them hating each other. They bicker so much, but as they come to admit their true feelings about each other, they soon realise that making up after an argument is the best part, and they've got a lot of past arguments to make up for.
I loved the little bits of back story we got of not only the interactions between Stone and Arianna but about her medical history too, as she spent a lot of time in and out of the hospital as a child, which probably added to why Stone felt she was a pampered princess who had everyone wrapped around her little finger. It wasn't because she was spoiled, but because she was ill. The backstory also helped the characters work through their issues, especially Stone, who thought he would lose everyone he cared about, but they were all just waiting for him to not just realise his true feelings but actually admit them.
Witnessing the two of them let their walls down was great fun, and the passion they used to put into bickering soon became passion spent elsewhere, with some hot and spicy moments in the book. It was a great read, and I love the involvement of the rest of the Santos clan and family friends.

Stone has basically known Arianna for her whole life. She was always his best friend Alex's annoying little sister... until she wasn't. When he noticed her all grown up and gorgeous, he couldn't act on it. Not only was she his friend's sister, she was also eleven years younger than him. He was certain it was wrong, but he couldn't help the attraction.
There was so much depth to the characters. I learned about their backstories, what they'd dealt with while growing up... Each had been through a lot, though their experiences were completely different. And while they'd known each other forever, neither was aware of what the other had lived through. I was so happy to see them opening up and getting to really know each other.
There were some dangers and difficulties that they went through that had me on the edge of my seat, lest you think it was all just banter and shmexy times. They dealt with a villain, weather, and dangerous conditions, and it was unclear how they'd come out on the other side.
This author has a straight line to my attention and to my heart. I didn't think I could like anyone more than Luca, and boy, was I wrong. Stone! I get the draw, Arianna, I really do. The grump is bejeweled, knows what he's doing, and is a fantastic dirty talker... The tension between them from the very beginning is delicious and enticing, and left me waiting and wondering when they'd finally give in and get together. And when they did - - - I was not disappointed!
The relationship between the two of them, once they get out of their own ways, is so incredibly sweet and supportive, and I loved watching how they came together.
Arianna's family, as always, is a highlight of the book; I was so happy to see them all again. The close knit Italian family is always there for one another, looking out for each other, and trying to keep their significant others away from Nonna's pinchy fingers, all while running the hotel and trying to raise the next generation of Santos kids. I can't wait to come back and read about Dom and Kate!

I loved the first book of the series, but this one crossed lines for me. Maybe it was the nicknames(hers princess/baby girl, his was old man/daddy)or the references to her wearing baby pink thongs or baby pink sequin ball gowns. The book felt wrong to me. I was expecting a wholesome yet intense romance like book 1.
MMC is FMC brother's best friend.
He was 11 when she was born. He met her at the hospital, and the author wrote his thoughts as "I dont remember anything else anyone said that day. But, I remember her. And her eyes. And how much she captivated me, even as an eleven year-old. "
Or when she was 10 and he was 21 and FMC kept smacking MMC in the face and he finally told her to go away. Her mother seemed surprised because FMC is not normally violent. Then she looked between the two, and it insinuated she thought they would end up together later in life.
He saved her from getting drugged in a club and 21, and she cursed him out for ruining her night.
Just ridiculous story lines.
They went back and forth nearly every other page, deciding if they would try to be together. At 68%, they finally have sex and he thinks man I hope shes pregnant.
Like dude, 2 pages ago, you didn't think you were good enough, and 4 pages ago, she was mad because you wouldn't sleep with her. And now you both magic realize you love each other....smh
On another note, there is no way his 6ft tall, built, self was hidden under her desk eating her out. If so, how big was this desk?
Some storylines from the previous book also didn't line up.
Hannah from book one seemed to have a more exaggerated anxiety problem in this story. She nearly had a panic attack when FMC was moving in with MMC. Yet, she just giggled and had a snappy comeback when she caught FMC getting eaten out in her office. It was inconsistent.

The banter and spice in this book was absolutely phenomenal, end of story. The tension radiates off of both Ari & Stone from one of their very first encounters. They annoy the crap out of the each other and pretend to dislike the other; when really they are masking other feelings they continue to harbor.
The combination of tropes; brothers bff, age gap, forced proximity, fake dating, with a touch of the enemies to lovers vibe was incredible.
I love the way Ari & Stone compliment each other, even when they are arguing or pissing each other off. Stone finally opened his eyes and allowed himself to see the real Ari, not the spoiled princess he thought she was; he saw the selfless, caring, and kind woman who loves fiercely and is extremely loyal. This makes her so perfect for Stone. Ari had the ability to be patient with Stone and show him he is truly capable of not only giving love, but that is he worthy to be loved himself.
The fact that Stone comes off as such a jerk, is truly just a cover for how much he cares about Ari. He has always been there for her, even if he gave her a hard time; he was always there to help and protect her. Once he realizes that he loves her and would do anything to be with her, is the moment he knows she is the one that he has been waiting for for his whole life.
This book is filled with so much love, not only between Ari & Stone but from Santos family and their friends. I love that Ari’s family took Stone in and showed him what love could do if he only embraced it.

A treasure trove of tropes with perfect explosive chemistry, so much tension, and anticipation that has you on the edge waiting for the fall. And what a fall it is, Stone and Aria bring the fire, turn up the heat, and tug your heart strings in a romance that's definitely worth the trouble!

ARC BOOK REVIEW
I loved reading this book so much, ever since I read the first chapter of the story after having read the first book of the Eternity series, I just knew that I would love this book straight away and damn was I right about that.
Jennifer's characters are just utterly amazing, I love all the different concepts of her books, but this one was so good. I am an absolute sucker for age gap romances with brothers best friend, those tropes are an instant read for me and that was particularly increased by having met the two main characters Arianna and Stone in the previous book and loved their personalities right away.
The plot for this book was so good, it absolutely blew me away, the bit of fake dating at the beginning and them actually having been in love with one another for years and never admitted it till everything fell into place and ended up dragging them together. Their story was just so perfect for them and don't even get me started on the end of their story, Jennifer did absolutely amazing with it and I just loved it and seeing the two main characters as a family unit made me so happy.
The pacing and writing in this book were amazing, per usual. Jennifer always manages to come up with such unique storylines for her books that have you instantly hooked straight away, and this book was no different. I have to say that this one is probably my favourite so far as the whole concept of the book blew me away, and I loved every second of it!

All the angst and all the hate (that's not really hate) and all the attraction and all the love builds up in this book for a delicious HEA. This is book 2 in the Eternity Series and can be read as a standalone, but after not reading book 1, I need to go back because there are references.
But let's talk about Stone and Arianna. Stone is the best friend of Arianna s older brother. 11 years older, to be exact. Stone has always been around, coming from a bad and broken home. He was basically taken in by the Santos family and Arianna has never not known life without Stone.
That life with Stone around has been teasing and chaotic and Stone has been ruthless to that little brat of a girl, always antagonizing him when he's just trying to hang out. Little do they know, that's angst, headed to true love and everyone sees it but them. When Arianna gets notified that she's going to be evicted, Stone offers up a room in his home. That's the beginning of the end of their denial.
The characters in this book are so endearing. The Santos family is huge, and you get to interact with them all. Big brothers and Stone protect Arianna. Arianna and sisters and friends all talk about everything, Mr. and Mrs. Santos knows the future will be Stone and Arianna and Nonna like butt cheeks.
It's a fun, easy, sexy read and I highly recommend it.

Trouble on a pedestal!
I don’t know how the heroes keep getting better in this series. I loved Luca in Worth the Risk, but Stone knocks him out of the park. There is something special about a growly hero who doesn’t see his own value and believes he isn’t worthy of love getting knocked off his feet by a spitfire he has known since the day she was born.
This book is the second in the series but can be read as on its own. I found all the characters to be well developed and inspire strong emotions from hatred for Arianna’s cheating ex to frustration with her over-protective brothers. I loved the way Arianna and Stone both evolved in their relationship to realize that the other was worth the trouble.
Arianna’s parents, Nick and Sofia have welcomed Stone into their family as her brother Alex’s best friend. They are the model of a strong marriage and caring parents. Something that Sofia tries to explain to Stone about unconditional love in Chapter 3 “…it means you see them at their best and worst, and you choose to love them despite it all. Because even your worst day with that person is better than your best day without them.”
All in all, I recommend this book, it is definitely worth the read.

After reading the first book and getting the teaser for this book, I was ecstatic. I was really, really excited to dive into this book when I first received the ARC.
I loved getting to see the scene from the last book. Not only did I giggle about that butt tap, but I also had the biggest smile on my face.
This book moved quickly. A little too quickly, IMO. No spoilers, but a situation occurs that forces the FMC to live with the MMC. That all happens a little too quickly with barely any indication or notice.
I was also a little disappointed that the FMC's health problems weren't discussed more. I would have loved to have seen this talked about more. Knowing the type of medical issues she deals with, it would have been a long-term problem to deal with. Skating over the day to day life and care required made me cringe. Again, that may be just because I'm a nurse and have knowledge about all things medical.
Now, for my favorite quote!!!!
"If you open that door, baby girl, you’re mine. There’s no going back from this. If you open that door, Princess, it’s game fucking on.”

Arianna & Stone
The banter & The tension in this boom was so freaking good. I absolutely had a blast reading this book and i couldn't stop laughing at points. I just adore Arianna and her attitude. She is sassy and funny and sensitive but strong it was so refreshing. I loved that she stood her ground and wasn't afraid to say what she needed to. I also loved that she forced Stone to open up and realize he deserves loved and was worth it. Stone was absolutely so stubborn & hardheaded while being caring and honest. I enjoyed watching him finally figured out that he wanted Arianna and was gonna go for it no matter what. I loved that he always had her back even when he didn't realize he was doing it. I also enjoyed how he pushed Arianna but never doused her fiery side only encouraged it. Watching this two come together and get the love they both needed and to see them grow and heal was so beautiful.

I received an ARC of Book 2 of the Eternity Series called Worth the Trouble in exchange for an honest review. I did read the first book in the series, Worth the Risk, before reading the second book.
For readers who love a small-town romance coupled with an age gap and falling in love with your siblings' best friend. this is a book to add to your TBR list. Stone is your classic hottie who did not have an ideal upbringing and grew up with his best friend's parents as his role models. Arianna is the youngest out of the Santo clan and their connection has been building since the day she was born. Can Arianna convince Stone that he is just as worthy of love as anyone else, regardless of how he grew up?
This book was light-hearted in all the right places and an easy read to sink into because uncovering their history is part of the fun. A little bit of drama mixed in with steamy attraction keeps you rooting for Arianna to win her man. I will be waiting patiently for the next book in the Eternity Series.

I pretended like I had no responsibilities the other day and read this in one sitting...only taking breaks to eat and use the restroom.Yes, it was that good! Jennifer J. Williams has a way with words and writes one heck of a story.
Ariana and Stone are drawn to each other in ways that transcend friendship and their banter and connection comes through the pages from their first encounter. Both have pined for the other for years, and the anticipation to see who caves first was so well written.
Stone acts like a jerk in an attempt to protect himself and not show how much he cares about Arianna, but she is determined to get him to see what they could be if he lets down his walls and opens his damaged heart to her. He stood no chance against Arianna, especially once her family showed him the love and support he so desperately needed.
The spice, banter, chemistry, passion and love between this couple was AMAZING and I loved getting to know them and see their relationship develop into something beautiful. I can't wait for more of this series!

Working my way through this series and just really enjoying the family and the dynamic they have. Stone has called his best friend’s younger sister Princess since she was 10 years old. Their banter started on that day and even all these years later they are still in disagreements like they are going out of style. Arianna just wants to hate Stone. There is a very fine line for her between that hate because she has had a crush on him all her life. When she gets embarrassed at a work event, Stone is the one to pretend that they are dating, which gets his best friend, Alex involved. These two have so many moments that you think Stone will finally break and he holds strong which only frustrates her. What you learn reading this book is why Stone has been so set on distance between him and Arianna. The Santos family welcomed him into their home, and I love the motherly love Sofia gives him. This was just a great read that gives you all the feels while watching the bad boy fall for his princess and will do anything for her.

Arianna had such a rough childhood where she was in and out of the hospital. But now she is a strong, sassy woman who runs the spa at her family’s business.
Stone grew up with the Santos family. For the longest time he thought Arianna was a brat, his friend’s annoying younger sister. But that started changing as she became a beautiful woman who he helped out on a few occasions at a bar. So when he once again steps in to help her when her “boyfriend” announces his engagement to someone else, he knows he is in trouble.
I loved reading this story as these two navigated their feelings. Stone doesn’t think he is good enough for someone like Arianna. And she has crushed on him for years. But if these two can get past all the walls they have up, they could have something beautiful.

Was a good short spicy read. I did LOL a couple of times.
I didn’t start out liking Arianna or Stone very much for the first part of the book. I found both of them rather immature. I do understand that a lot of the first part of the story was flash backs to their childhood, but although Stone was 11 years older he was considerably more juvenile is some respects. He was completely blocked and hung up on Ari’s family having money and being wealthy. He was just not getting past that.
They did grow on me as the story progressed and Ari explained her health issues. As much as they say Stone was included in their family as Alex’s best friend he knew VERY little about the family itself.
Once Ari and Stone start actually talking to one another then they realized just how much they cared about the other.

This was cute even if I did want to slap stone around a bit. I really felt bad for Arianna being wrongfully judged by stone and being on such an emotional roller coaster. I enjoyed how we got flashbacks that told the story of stone and Arianna as young kids/adults. Every time stone said something out of the way to Arianna, it hurt my heart along with hers. But she eventually stood up for herself and let him know how she felt about how he treated her. Stone had his own trauma to deal with from his childhood and that caused him to act the way he did. It was nice to see the multiple family members give him their blessing throughout the story. I really love this big family and how they look out for each other. The drama in this one comes from Arianna’s ex boyfriend and he takes a long time to finally be free from their lives. There was no third act breakup but there was more drama trying to keep them apart. I love the epilogue and updates on the brother and sister in law from book 1. I also like how it started the ideas for a few future couples.

This is the second book in this series and it follows Arianna and Stone. I absolutely loved seeing Arianna’s personality in this book it was such a fun and quick read for me. The banter between the two had me hooked from beginning to end. Stone has known Arianna her whole life and has always seen her as annoying kid till one day when she is out when she is older. Arianna who has always had a crush on Stone, never thought he would ever see as a woman, just as the annoying kid sister of his best friend. The tension between them whew 🥵 I absolutely loved reading and I can’t wait to read the next story especially with that ending!

This is the second book in this series and it follows Arianna and Stone. I absolutely loved seeing Arianna’s personality in this book it was such a fun and quick read for me. The banter between the two had me hooked from beginning to end. Stone has known Arianna her whole life and has always seen her as annoying kid till one day when she is out when she is older. Arianna who has always had a crush on Stone, never thought he would ever see as a woman, just as the annoying kid sister of his best friend. The tension between them whew 🥵 I absolutely loved reading and I can’t wait to read the next story especially with that ending!

I got the pleasure of ARC reading this book!! I would just like to say at first it took me a second to get into it but I had been reading alot of brother's best friend books but honestly. Once I got into the book and I saw the spark between Stone and Arianna I was HOOKED. Mama Santo being matchmaker and being such a loving mother figure we love it, but Nonna who didnt have many scenes stole them when she was in mentioned or in them!!! Slow burns always get me cause I want them to get to the spice but honestly the build up then for it to finally happen its all worth it!!! And let me say the SPICE it is SPICY. This book has so many cute moment, like hair washing, being there, remembering the little things. But my all time favorite was the banter, that these characters have had since they have, the FMC could talk and I live for it!! I can not wait for ever to go and read this book!!

Arianna and Stone's story is so beautiful. He had a difficult childhood and was always around Arianna's house because her brother Alex is BFF with Stone.
Age gap of 11 years Stone was there when Arianna was born and she just had a major crush on him since she could remember.
But Stone wanted nothing to do with her until she was 19 when he saw her in a different light but did nothing for 5 years until Arianna needed a place to crash and Stone offered his home to her. The proximity made both act on the chemistry they had denied each other. He has no money and thinks Arianna can do so much better and Arianna wants love. I just wanted to hug Stone through the entire book.

More like 3.75 stars - I will start out by saying Stone had me pulled in from the beginning with his take no shit attitude and I liked Arianna but Stone definitely stole the show.
I was pretty happy with the book but towards the end, maybe the last 25% of the book it felt like there were multiple endings. You think based on the story things are wrapping up, then something else happens, then another ending. It just seemed to be drawn out and give the false sense of wrapping things up about 3-4 times.
That being said I wasn’t unhappy with the book. It was cute and had some good spice but the ending just threw me off.
I received an advance review copy but this review is my own honest opinions.

Worth the Trouble is a entertaining and spicy age-gap romance. Stone is the best friend of Alex Santo. He is 11 years older than Arianna, Alex's little sister. Stone and Arianna have had chemistry for years, but Stone did not want to act on it. The two cannot stay away and this leads to some explosive banter and then make-up. I love the Santo family because they are just an average loving family who support each other in everything. The siblings are always there for each other (sometimes too much). This togetherness is what scares Stone the most about taking the plunge into dating Arianna for real. I enjoyed seeing Luca and Hannah again from book 1 in this story and how their relationship has continued to grow. I cannot wait for Dominic's story next!
