Read this as a refresher before my return to Boston next week. This made me remember how pissed off I was that the Old Corner Bookstore is a fucking Chipotle.
I enjoyed how this book was all "You know that one thing you thought this person said/did? Yeah they probably didn't actually say/do that. Educate yourself." I also liked how women and African Americans were represented. For example this book was all "Yeah you remember that painting everyone has seen with the black patriot portrayed as being a gun slave? Haha fuck that he was a soldier in his own damn right as shown in this more accurate painting. Two for you, Peter Salem. You go, Peter Salem!"

Love American Revolution history! Short read.

it's a nice quick read. Gives the basics of what happened in Boston. Nice for quick reference.
