Doctor by Mercer Mayer was a cute and simple book in my opinion. I thought that the illustrations did great job at telling a story of Little Critter using his imagination to be a doctor and finding that sometimes there is one cure that works best. I believe that this story would be best interpreted by students in preschool or kindergarten As a future early elementary teacher I probably would include this in my library. I want to teach a unit over community helpers and I believe that this book would be a good one to have accessible for the students.

My kids have all loved this book. Cute illustrations. It's not my favorite, but my kids have all liked it, so we keep reading it!

Would have like more pages to the story but love the "special medicine" Dr. Critter uses in the end!
