Created in full collaboration with Warner Brothers and DC comics, this guide is a must-have for fans of the animated series on the WB television network. Full color.
I love this show. I've loved this show since I laid eyes on it during its premiere on Toonami all those years ago. So why, oh why, did they even bother making this tiny piece of crap? WHY?
I actually used to collect comic books in my teens and one day, I glanced over and saw this and screamed with joy. You see, I have the Ultimate Guide to Batman--a richly detailed encyclopedia of all aspects of Batman from conception to backstory to every major character who has appeared in the comics in different continuities. I also had the ultimate guide to Catwoman, which was just as detailed and awesome. I was ecstatic because I thought this would be similar.
To quote Lana Kane, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE."
Everything in here is just regurgitated from the show. No extras. No highly detailed information, not about Terry's suit, not about the new tech in 2039, not about the villains or supporting characters, NOTHING. This book was a cheap cash in and a lie. All of its contents are things you could have gotten from the show, and I think that's just extraneous. You don't even need this for any reason. It adds nothing.
