This is an intense book, but has more pictures than those dastardly boy scout pamphlets. Written to an international and western audience; with a glossary that disappoints, it still changed my life!

"The Big Ideas that Changed the World" not only explores the histories of incredible inventions and the stories behind them, but also presents readers where the ideas might be headed in the future. With colorful and informative pictures and illustrations, the book keeps us diving into it with enthusiasm and curiosity. It also includes new features: Bright Spark, additional information about the ideas' histories; Cool Science, a short explanation of science behind the ideas; and Tomorrow's World, a glimpse of where the ideas are evolved. The one thing I want to criticize about this book is, I wish it were longer and included more inventions.
