I might return to this review after I get a physical copy of the novel. I suspect that the audio version I listened to was as an abridged version since it felt really disjointed.

Great place to start if you've never read a single Battletech book. Characters are a little thin at times but the battle scenes are great and the history/lore dumps just never stop coming.

Lots of fun Inner Sphere politicking to go around, not enough Natasha Kerensky.
