“Ollie, I’m afraid I’m going to have to ask you not to scream.”
HER
We met by chance at a random dive bar. Him - a striking figure in a tailored suit who radiates dominance. Me - an awkward introvert, innocently stalking my father.
He seduced me. Worshipped me. Then, in a blink, he vanished, leaving no trace—not even a name or number.
HIM
I wasn’t supposed to see her again. We were never meant to meet in the first place. But here we Her - half asleep after passing out at work. Me - caught sneaking into her family business in the middle of the night.
She has no clue who I am—that I’ve just settled into a ruthless birthright position within the Italian mafia. Or that her family legacy plays a role in my illegal activities. But I have a feeling the dead body at my feet might bring her up to speed.
Oh my god. I’ve read all of Eden’s mafia romances, and this one is my favourite. By a long shot. I am so completely and totally obsessed.
Remy was so easy to dive into. After the previous books in the world, I was instantly hooked by Remy’s character and Eden truly did deliver - she just has a way of writing that immediately reels you in and leaves you wanting more. And that was me every single page of this book.
I related to Ollie so hard (apart for the obvious reasons lol). She was just so real, and I loved reading her internal dialogue, and how she interacted with the world around her. And Remy. Remy, Remy, Remy…..good lord this man. He could put me in a cremator and I’d thank him. I am nothing if not weak for a morally grey man who would do anything including unalive people for his woman.
Not to mention the spice - she was spicing. I started listening to the audiobook and work and had to promptly turn it off. Eden really knows how to write the scenes that have you blushing and flustered.
And the ending!! Ahhhhh. I need Ivy and Salvo’s book in my hands, and I need it in my hands right now!
I almost didn’t finish this one. Both main characters were so annoying for more than half the book. They bickered constantly. They had the same arguments repeatedly. The banter between them wasn’t funny, amusing or interesting. I skipped huge parts of it. The chemistry seemed forced. None of the characters were consistent except for her dad who lied to her repeatedly in the name of love. For that matter, so did Remy. So much lying. As a show of love. It’s not a plot device I like to read. Olivia acted like a Karen for a majority of the book. Remy was abusive and mean. A bully. The plot wasn’t convincing enough to believe that these two would ever make a compatible couple. It only started coming together at the 80% point and by then just wanted it to be over. Definitely not interested in Salvatore’s story.
Nothing spectacular- not what I expected from a dark romance. And I just didn’t like the FMC. At times she was so tough and at others just so whiny and dumb - truly TSTL. I couldn’t get into their love at all. She was so back and forth. And the whole thing with the father - I don’t know that I could forgive him for the decisions he made and then all the lies and keeping things from her and then being cowardly. The more I think about it the angrier I get so I’ll leave this here before I drop the rating to 2 stars.
Huge thanks to Eden Summers for sharing this e-Arc book with me. The following review reflects my honest reading experience. Remy is part of the Hunting her series.
Olivia is an introverted socially awkward mortician who works along side her father in her family funeral home. She decides to follow her dad after being suspicious of his behaviour to a bar where she meets Remy a member of an italian mafia. Overall i think this book was well written. Both MMC and FMC were likeable. The pacing was a bit slow, but got better around 30% mark. I think where the book fell flat for me was the plot. The story was too centered around the FMC's dad instead of the Mafia. The name of the book is Remy but most of the POV was from Olivia and when it was Remys POV it still centered around her dad. I kept hoping his POV would be Mafia related or stalking. Olivia was more the stalker than he was. I also didn't get a strong stalker possesive vibe from Remy either compared to the other books in the series. I did love Remys brother Salvatore. His character made the book for me, i got excited when i saw his name on a page and i am happy he is getting a book. I gave this book a 4/5 stars because its still a good book, it just didnt feel like a mafia novel like the others. Will i keep reading the series, most definitely...
I have enjoyed every novel in this author’s Hunting Her universe and Remy’s book is the perfect installment in the series! A standalone novel, this book checkmarks all of my boxes with a hint of darkness, interesting characters, and an engaging storyline. The opening chapters ensnared my attention as the premise was just that delicious.
Remy is a member of the Italian mafia and this smoldering, morally grey hero exudes power. He possesses a commanding presence and is obsessive when it comes to Olivia, but he also has vulnerabilities. All of this makes him a multi-dimensional character. Olivia is an interesting heroine. Her profession and dedication towards her work was both admirable and very fascinating. She has her flaws for sure, but those are part of what made her so endearing.
This novel is full of romance, heartache, drama, and suspense, thus making this book a captivating read. The characters are remarkably well developed as well as likable. Remy is a slow burn romance and while that fit with the storyline, I do feel that it went on too long. Because of this, I didn’t feel like their was connection was a strong as it should have been in the middle part of the book. The last third of the novel was when things really picked up and kept me on the edge of my seat. All in all, Remy is a thoroughly enjoyable read that I highly recommend. I cannot wait to see what will come next from this author!
Nobody writes broody ‘burn the world for you’ alphaholes like Eden Summers! When I thought Bishop was pretty hard to beat, Remy might surpass him being the top tier book boyfriend (no hard feelings Bishop)!! Remy literally broke every single rule in his book for Ollie! I really loved getting glimpses of Bishop and Aubrey plus the other brothers as well. Being an introvert myself, I can do relate to Ollie when it comes to going out and doing “peopley” things. There was a sad aspect of losing someone, but Ollie gained a whole other family in return. I didn’t realize I would get so sappy about Remy and his relationship with Ollie’s father but it did make me tear up. I already have an inkling of who the next couple in the series is going to be and I seriously can’t wait!!
I’m a bit late on my review 🫣 But I received the ARC to this book, I have read all of the books from this series and the ARC for bishop and everything SINGLE book in this series is so damn good! The spice, the deceit, the twists I just live for it! I was so excited for remy books and it delivered!! My heart broke for Ollie and Remy (I may have even been sobbing at some point) but they are destined to be together!! The ending tho!! Bring on Salvatore’s book
To be quite frank, I will read anything Eden Summers writes, point Blank. I was itching to get my hands on Remy and for good reason. We’ve met him before, youngest brother to the Italian mafia family. He is extremely dynamic – a brutal, blood thirsty mafia man that will let nothing stand in his way, as well as patient, vulnerable and a soft side he reserves for those that he cares about. I enjoyed that he wasn’t as “hard” as other characters we’ve seen in the past as he is still getting accustomed to the lifestyle and is still very driven by his emotions. He doesn’t pretend to be a scary mafia man, but instead is growing into his place in the organization and taking it with stride…ahem “Grimm Reaper”. I absolutely loved Ollie – I think she is probably one of the most realistic heroines Eden has written yet! It is so nice to see an introverted FMC who isn’t shy, just doesn’t like to be around people all that much…HEARD. She is sassy and can take it just as much as she can dish it and the perfect match for Remy…their banter is impeccable. She is essentially thrown into his world through a previous arrangement and reacts how any sane person would. She is sensible, emotionally intelligent, and just the right amount of wild when a few glasses of champagne are had that makes her the perfect heroine. Also, she is so real for hyper fixating on one random encounter with a (hot) stranger, because same.
This can be read as a standalone, but features characters previously in the Hunting Her Series. Of course, the cameos from our other favorites from previous books was grand, finally getting to see all of the Costa clan back together. And the Salvo/Remy sibling name calling banter…absolutely delightful.
Despite the decent amount of spice pretty early on, this is a slow burn that had me going through all the emotions. You can tell that they care intensely for one another as they work through both internal and outside forces trying to keep them apart. Their relationship gets put through the ringer, with the constant threat of scary mafia uncles, the police, and personal trauma seeping through, but it is well worth the end to get to the HEA. This has very quickly moved up to be one of my favorites in the Hunting Her series!
Remy by Eden Summers is one of the best mafia romances I’ve read this year. It’s also the most unique.
Banter. Pining. Real danger.
For one, it has real heart. I didn’t expect to be so gutted by the storyline. It takes a lot to make me cry, and I was sobbing.
And it doesn’t rush into the usual violence and rough encounters in a nightclub bathroom. The brutality and violence is all there, but we’re given time to meet Olivia and really understand how valiant she is, and how Remy can be himself with her. Olivia keeps surprising herself with how much of a badass she can be (that car chase scene) and it’s so fun to read.
I have to say, the cover is misleading. There’s no kink or bondage, and somehow I can’t picture Olivia wearing nail polish. This book is definitely a slow burn romance. I’d give it 🌶️ and don’t mean that as a criticism. This book is all about Remy and Olivia and where you find family.
Highly recommended, especially if you want to see how truly romantic a mafia novel can be.
This book is part of the Hunting World, a Dark Romantic Suspense. Wow! I loved it! This is an excellent addition to this amazing series. Remy and Olivia's story is captivating, passionate, and emotional, filled with mystery, tension, romance, danger, and twists and turns. Remy is enigmatic, dark, possessive, and protective. Olivia is beautiful, naive, but smart, and determined. They are opposites attract, and they are perfect together. The supporting characters are great. The characters are intriguing, and well developed. The storyline is complex, and breathtakingly enthralling. Maxine Mitchell and D.C. Cole did a fantastic job bringing these characters, and this story to life. They are both in my list of favorite narrators. This is a fantastic team author/narrators. I enjoyed it. I highly recommend this series.
If Eden writes a book, I’m going to read it and chances are I’m going to love it. Remy was absolutely no exception to this rule.
This series is my absolute favourite dark/mafia style series and Remy is another great instalment. I loved the characters, the plot and just everything.
Delicious read. Super slow burn and then boom💥. Amazing build and chemistry between Remy and Ollie. And a great storyline as well.
They are unique characters that grow on you and endear you to them. I had some challenges with Olivia's characterization at times. I'll be honest I despise the virgin angle here, though I guess it served its purpose. But overall, this is a couple that you root for.
First-time reader of this author. I'm super excited to have found her.
I have loved every book in the Hunting Her series, but this one didn't quite match the level of the others. 570 or so pages was quite... a lot...for a story didn't have much action or spice. Remy is the title character, but the book felt more centered on the relationship between the FMC and her dad. It's not a bad book by any means, but it wasn't what I typically expect from a novel in this series.
This was my first book from this author… I know I know I didn’t read the series in order but trust me you don’t need to! It will just make you want to read the others! I loved it!! A lot!! The whole slow burn enemies to lovers story! The banter! The very morally grey hero… I would say the first 70% were perfect and was less quite fan of the remaining 30%, the story became a bit more soft and almost mushy … especially in comparaison with the beginning! I was hoping for more drama at the end. I loved both characters! And loved the fact they were totally honest with their feelings… no playing games! The story is 100% safe with no cheating and no OW drama. The banter was exquisite The writing style perfect An amazing book from a new author for me… I can’t wait to discover more.
Holy hell was this boring. Olivia is a PITA & honestly TSTL. I skimmed this after 40% because I could not put up with her. Ma’am, you are dealing with the mafia. All the questions 😒 all the stupidity 🫣 all the back and forth. It was too much. At one point I was WISHING someone would shoot her. Jesus Christ.
4.25stars-REMY by Eden Summers is a contemporary, adult, dark, Mafia romance story line and the tenth book in the author’s HUNTING HER world. This is Remington ‘Remy’ Costa, and Olivia ‘Ollie’ Pelosi’s story line. REMY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. Remy is Abri’s brother (BISHOP #9).
NOTE : Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Remy and Ollie) REMY follows in the aftermath of something Olivia Pelosi was never meant to see. Olivia aka Ollie works for her father’s funeral home, doing the make-up for the recently deceased but a late night at work ended with Olivia coming face to face with her future in the guise of Mafia man Remy Costa, the man with whom Olivia would fall in love. Remy’s appearance at the funeral home meant something else was going on, and another interruption revealed the truth when Olivia confronted her father about the who, how and why. As Remy’s late night excursions to the funeral home were becoming more frequent, Olivia would find herself caught up with the Mafia, and the darker side of the criminal underworld. What ensues is the building but tempestuous relationship between Ollie and Remy, and the potential fall-out as the man in charge threatens to permanently push Olivia out of Remy’s life.
The world building follows several intersecting paths. The Costa family is currently at war with the Mexican cartel, and Remy has declared himself the ultimate cleaner involving the Pelosi family at the heart of their funeral business. Not only has the Mexican cartel taken aim, but the Irish Mob is not targeting our story line hero.
The relationship between Ollie and Remy begins acrimoniously when Ollie discovers the truth about Remy’s late night visits to the funeral home, visits that threaten the business if the truth is revealed. Needing to keep an eye on Ollie, as well as protecting the woman with whom he will fall in love, Remy finds himself guardian and protector of the woman who could destroy it all. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
Bishop and Remy’s sister Abri return for a cameo appearance as well as his brothers Matthew & Layla Langston (Seeking Vengeance / Ruthless Redemption/Hunting Her 7 & 8), Salvatore, and uncle Lorenzo. We are introduced to Olivia’s father Carlo Pelosi, and her co-workers/friends Ivy and Skylar. The requisite evil has many faces.
REMY is a story of power and control, betrayal and vengeance, secrets and lies, family and relationships, forgiveness, acceptance, loss and love. The premise is dramatic and intriguing; the romance is seductive; the characters are determined and dynamic.
Eden Summers is back with the 9th book in the Hunting Her series. Remy is one of the brothers we've met from earlier books.
Remy is new to the life in some ways because he and his brothers and sister were kept under their father's thumb until they did something about it. Despite the fact that he'd not been violent before he's and he's really quite stable, he's found that he likes his new life and his role in it.
Olivia is an introvert and she's a bit of a recluse. She loves her job as part of the family business and her friends but she prefers the company of those she works on in the funeral home. She likes her life just as it is and has no desire to change it.
They have instant chemistry but their lives put them on opposite sides and they are more like enemies than friends. It's very complicated and they have more than their secrets and opposite sides keeping them apart.
Remy and Olivia's story was a great addition to the series and I think the unhinged Salvatore will make for an interesting story next. . . . It's just been Olivia and her father since her mother's passing and while they struggled with her loss, together they kept going. The family funeral home is where Olivia was raised and she takes pride in her role as the mortician. When her father starts acting unusual she sets out to follow him and get to the bottom of his secrets. She was expecting maybe after all this time he was dating but that's not what she finds at all.
Olivia is quickly distracted from her spying mission when she bumps into a devilishly handsome man at the bar. Despite her age, Olivia hasn't found anyone who makes her feel alive, not like the man in front of her. The two only spend a short amount of time together but it's enough to have Olivia smitten. 'Goddamn. His face matches the deliciousness of his voice - tousled dirty blonde hair, warm tan skin, and a mouth that could inspire a wealth of wet dreams.'
Remy's job in the family is to clean up his brother, Salvatore's mess in some ways. While Salvatore is set to take over from their Uncle eventually he's taken to the role like it's always been his. Remy might not go out looking for violence but he knows how to deal with those that threaten his family. With a turf war between them and the cartel, Salvatore has secured a deal that will help them and Remy is in charge, all he has to do is keep it discrete.
Olivia's life is about to be turned upside down when she runs into her mystery man again. After all the time wishing she knew who he was and how to find him, she wasn't prepared for the way they met again. The one man she thought she could fall for turns out to be a man she should fear. "Hey, Ollie." He continues with a sympathetic smile. "I'm afraid I'm going to have to kindly ask you not to scream."
Remy knows what he's supposed to do with Olivia, but he won't do anything that will cause her harm. It's a complication that should be taken care of before it gets them all killed, but since that one night he's been unable to forget her. Now he has to deal with the fallout and trust that Olivia won't get them all in trouble. "When I told you I'd protect you, I didn't just mean from my brother and Lorenzo. You're family now. Nobody touches you and gets away with it."
If there is one thing I'm always assured of when I pick up an Eden Summers book it is that I'm in for an emotional whirlwind of a ride. Eden upheld this tradition with RENY, the tenth addition to her Hunting Her world. Having the ability to listen as I read only submerged me deeper into this captivating dark mafia romance.
Olivia "Ollie" Pelosi works with her father at the family funeral home, it is her duty to prepare the bodies. She enjoys her solitude, is a bit of an introvert, spending most of her time either at home or work. Something strange has been happening at night at the funeral home which leads her to do some investigating, and has her meeting Remy Costa, a member of the Italian Mafia. While their first meeting is not under the greatest of circumstances, it doesn't take long for the sparks to fly between the two, but Remy believes that he would never be good enough for her.
As they spend more time together the connection between them grows, emotions become conflicted, and their banter becomes both personal and humourous. I love that Ollie pushes Remy, but he doesn't have any of it, even though all he wants to do is claim her. I admired how Remy brought Ollie out of her shell, she gained confidence and didn't hold back on any of her thoughts. Remy fell hard and fast, he's possessive, if not obsessive, thoughts and actions often causing concern for his "family". Ollie and Remy are the classic couple: even though they knew they should stay away from one another it was an impossibility. The chemistry between them was explosive, but their slowburn was sublime.
Maxine Mitchel and D.C. Cole were the perfect narrators to portray Ollie and Remy. I enjoyed the humour, dramas, and sensitivity they brought to their characters. Maxine brilliantly voiced Ollie's naivety, vulnerability, and stubbornness, while D.C. Cole expertly brought out Remy's gruffness, dominance, and possessiveness as well as his tenderness. O loved the tones of their voices and their delivery, I couldn't imagine two more perfect narrators for this story.
REMY is as MUST READ!! Eden Summers knows the secrets to delivering an UNPUTDOWNABLE read: keeping her readers hooked with relatable characters, addictive storylines, plenty of sexual tension and heat, and ensures a conclusion which elicits the thought ... WTF!!! REMY was pure Eden Summers magic, a novel that needs to be read.
Ugh, the premise of this book had so much potential but the main characters just fell flat for me in a rage inducing way. The fact that out of all the MCs, I tolerate the H most is a shame.
Ollie / Liv / Olivia
The worst friend a girl/group of girls can ask for. It was ALWAYS about her, her needs, her wants. She never checked in on her friends. When she did hang out with her girls, it was always for an ulterior motive. That motive was always a guy. She lied to her friends. She made them take blame and guilt for things they weren't responsible for. She never read cues e.g. when Ivy CLEARLY didn't want to go to Remy's club but she never asked why, didn't notice, she just wanted her way so she could flirt with Remy and ditch her friends at the club...again.
I did have high hopes when she put the H in the cremator but no, that was too badass for her so she became an annoying h insgead. She inserted herself in things that didn't concern her then got high and mighty and the consequences. Hate her. She is the definition of a TSTL h.
Carlo - h Dad.
The. Most. Selfish. Father. Of. All. Time.
He lost his wife, Ollie's mother, to cancer when Ollie was younger, and he saw how devastating that was to her. Yet he decided it was a good idea to lie to her constantly about his diagnosis. Keep her in the dark about his prognosis and treatment. Blatantly show that Remy, his fake son, knows everything but her, the daughter he has running the family business apparently cannot handle it. No matter how annoying that girl is, she didn't deserve her dad's constant refusal to relieve his daughter of the pain she expressly shared he was causing her by keeping her in the dark. Him using his wife's experience for them as a reason to shield her was stupid.
Remy
Like I said, least hated most tolerated. The bar is low.
At least he looked after a dying man. He pushed for him to tell his daughter. The bar = low.
Everything he did was, in the mafia world, for Ollie. You could tell he would do anything for her, even pull out a gun on his brother for her.
I also liked the glimpse of compassion for Carlo and his father/son made relationship and also the glimpse of his compassion and guardianship of Flynn. Killing Flynn was BS too. What was the purpose???!?!!!
Lorenzo and Salvatore - meh. I hated the h in this so bad, I don't want to risk my like of Ivy being a facade and she turns out to be just as annoying in her book with Salavatore.

I will read any Mafia Romance book written by Author Eden Summers. So reading Remy was a given for me; what wasn’t a given was Remy and Olivia’s story.
Let’s start with this story. Remy is a man who was raised by terrible parents with no morals, yet manged to grow up with a moral compassl. He has beliefs, he has morals, he is in many situations morally gray and then can turn around and is a perfect gentleman. He also found in Carlo Pelosi the father he had never had. He fell for Carlo’s daughter Olivia and yet knew he was not the man for her, she was to good for him. But he felt a need to make sure she is protected.
In this slow-burn but beautiful love story, Author Summers grows the story line page by page, event by event. The character growth for both Remy and Olivia shows you how well Summers knows her characters. They both needed time, they both needed to grow towards each other and they both had to find their common ground. Which they did but that common ground came at a cost.
The action begins right at the beginning and it doesn’t stop until their story is finished. This is an emotional story….make sure you have tissues around. It’s the story of a man helping a teen learn his life could change. It’s a story of parental love for a daughter who has already been touched by personal loss. Remy is the story of a younger man who befriends an older man, through that friendship he learns what a real parent is like and what it feels like when someone cares for you.
To top it all of we have the mafia (Remy and Salvo Costa with their Uncle Lorenzo Cappelletti) against the Mexican Cartel……they have their reasons.
Add to that the sparks, the heat and the smoke and Remys’s dirty mouth (which I loved btw) that is between Olivia and Remy, it’s the perfect mafia love story.
From Hunter to Remy, I’ve enjoyed this author’s books, but in Remy I took away so much more. More about love, about loss and about just being. Remy held me captive, with bits of witt, his hopes and his dreams and that he is a very caring man with a heart and very big heart.
It was lovely to see favoriets, Matthew and Layla and Bishop and Abri. I have given Remy five stars, the reality is I want to give this author 500 stars for a story well written and takes readers of a ride that has twists, turns and LOVE lot of LOVE!
After a bit of a writing hiatus, Eden Summers is back with Remy. And she knocked it out of the park with this one. I adore all Eden's tortured leading men, but Remy is an absolute delight to read. He is a charmer with his cheeky smiles and dirty mouth. He is overconfident and loyal and a delicious raging monster under the shiny veneer. He falls hard and fast for the feisty mortician Olivia. He classes her as 'his' but won't allow his mafia darkness to actually touch her. He wants from afar while battling his own deepening emotions and attraction.
Ollie/Olivia is a brilliantly quirky FMC. She is a happily introverted workaholic. She is loyal to her Dad and their family business. She has a close friendship group and doesnt need anything beyond this. Her hatred for socialising has left her a little isolated and there is a beautiful naivete to her interactions with Remy. She hasnt dated or explored her sexuality beyond solo play. So the dangerously tempting Remy is an angel and a demon all wrapped up in a body made for her. But he won't touch her. And you can feel her growing frustration as the book progresses. She taunts him and flirts with his danger. She is an equal match to him in everyway (to be honest, she pretty much has the upper hand from their very first meeting- no spoilers, but this firey queen is something else!).
This book a is a delicious slowburn. Don't be fooled by the early hints of spice. This book will have you wanting alongside Ollie. These two crave each other but mafia family rules and Remy's own self inflicted distance keep them dancing around each other with hints of affection and of their sizzling chemistry. And while I'm usually down for the spice, I barely even noticed the lack of it in this book, as every chapter is a teasing hint of foreplay for the main event. You just know once these two give in, they'll be each others everything.
If you love your MMC on the dirty talking, possessive, touch her and die, growly and secretly violent side of the scale, then Remy is your man. He is so emotionally battered that he makes some misguided decisions but overall he is just pure mafia man perfection. These two are not an obvious match. The mafia man and the mortician. But together they are an all consuming match made in romance heaven.

10 stars!!! This book was so good, like phenomenally good! It was a delicious slow burn that I just devoured. Olivia and Remy had so much chemistry and tension you could feel it coming off the pages! I couldn't put this one down because I was so enthralled by these characters. There was plenty of heartbreak but the moments of levity were perfection. Just the right amount and at the right moments to break up the seriousness of the story. I was laughing my behind off for some of them because they were just so real and impeccably timed.
Emotionally this one hit pretty deep for me. I don't want to give anything away but I know how Olivia feels for some of the things she's going through. Not just what Ollie went through but Remy too. It drew out all the deep rooted emotions and some were pretty raw. Those are my favorite types of books though because that means the writing is so well done that you become immersed in the story and feel everything the characters do.
Olivia is the perfect mix of vulnerable yet fierce. She's non-confontational yet will do what she has to to protect herself. It's so hard to write a believable character in Olivia's position because she has to take a pretty big moral leap and that can be hard to justify. I think Olivia was the best presented character in that regard, from all the books I've read. She was believable and relatable. She also had some sass and some great one liners. She was extremely likeable and I appreciated her profession getting some adoration.
I really enjoyed Remy. He was hard not to fall for with how he treated Ollie. He was so adoring and protective. I know I fell for him right away! I loved how he was so protective and willing to put her first.
This was an incredible story that was beautifully written. The plot and flow of the story were superb. It was so easy to forget I was reading because I was so drawn in by the book. I seriously never wanted it to end! After that ending though, I'm now I'm super excited and looking forward to Santiago's story!!!! I would give 10 stars if I could and would very, very highly recommend Remy!!!

I wrote this review for Saucy Reviews on Kinky Korner. What an incredible story this is and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The lead characters, Remy and Olivia, are almost opposites, but the old saying goes that they definitely are attracted to each other.
Remy is quite a complex character; he has a traumatic past, and his present life is one he basically fell into with his brother. His self-image is not positive, but it’s obvious he has some very caring qualities, especially with Olivia. His protectiveness of her is endearing. I liked him from the beginning, even when he was playing the charmer.
Olivia is such a great character, too. She grows from a social hermit to exploring so much that she never saw herself comfortable with or could imagine doing. Her outlook on life is also altered, and she stretches her arms wide once out of her shell. Granted, much of this started as a need, but it all took courage. Remy and the situation they found themselves in were also huge catalysts.
You could almost cut the chemistry between the two lead characters; it was so intense. Their slow-burn romance nearly did me in as it went at a snail’s pace at times! Remy and Olivia’s banter has some great humour, often sarcastic but still very entertaining. There are a plethora of emotions in the story including terrific humour. Be prepared for tears as well!
There is an enormous amount of action and drama where you never know what will happen with the nail-biting suspense. Lots of twists make it unpredictable, and that’s a great storyline, in my opinion.
I have read everything this fabulous lady has written and this has taken my breath away and spoiled me for future reads. I never wanted to reach The End. Remy is a morally grey hero, caught up with the dirty side of his family business, he meets Ollie in a night club and then again while breaking the law, and using her place of work to do it. Olivia is entrenched in the family business and happy to keep the world on her doorstep. She neither wants or needs people and is happy with her Father and two close friends. Then Remy comes stumbling into her world and suddenly nothing will ever be the same for either of them. Both Remy and Ollie have baggage and while Remy is determined to keep Ollie at arms length, our sassy, determined girl is not giving up that easily. This is a love story, a slow burn but never the less a steamy battle between a man determined to keep the woman he loves away from his lifestyle, even though he has inadvertently pulled her into it and the equally determined Ollie, hell bent on bringing Remy to his knees. There are so many moments when you think, yes this is it, they can't exist without each other, only for the characters to surprise us time and again. There are moments of danger and sadness, I will admit to reaching for the tissue box more than once and this is a story you won't put down once you start. There are a number of brilliant cameos from previous books that will have you wanting to go back and explore. If you are new to Eden's books, please grab this and when you are done go back and read her previous books and catch up with the characters in this book and many others. I can't recommend this highly enough, welcome back Eden, you have knocked it out of the park with Remy and Ollie.
