For journalist Liza Wilson, covering the campaign of presidential candidate Jonathan Davis is a career-making opportunity. She's up for nightly news anchor, and this story will cinch her spotlight. Plus, she'll get to see the charismatic senator up close and personal. Only, Liza doesn't realize just how personal--until she and John give in to a passion that could turn them into tomorrow's headlines...and derail both their careers.
John's whole life has led up to this historic moment. He can't afford to let a breaking scandal destroy all he's worked for. But when Liza uncovers a secret in his past, he risks losing her, too. And John isn't a man who likes to lose. Now he's waging an all-out campaign to win Liza's love. Because her vote is the only one that counts!

I am astonished that the author could exceed in delighting and amusing me after, "Tender Secrets" (Andrew & Viveca) and "Road to Seduction" (Eric & Izzy). This story is an exceptional political romance. The inclusion of Alzheimer's disease was a refreshing addition. I have yet to read more books in the series but hoping that first lady "Lisa" devotes some time to the disease.
Still not as good as the first one even though the continuity is there it just didn’t have the same zing but still a beautiful story. Very hot and steamy I had no problem falling to sleep reading this one here! On to the next one and it’s already in full swing.
Interesting Romance Between a Politician & Reporter..It was Veryyyyyy interesting to include Information About Alzheimer..Great Read..Loveeeee Ann Christopher
Ann Christopher delivers a hot stopper. Campaign for Seduction was sizzling hot amber of a book that kept my attention from beginning to end.
Liza Wilson has had a fail marriage but has become a successful journalist now that she has a chance to clinch the spotlight she refuses to allow anything to stop her until she meets Senator Jonathan Warner who is also running for president. Liza has other ideas in her mind when the sparks between the flow. Senator Jonathan Warner has found himself in a situation where he is behind in the polls and in love with a journalist who he thought did not know he existed unless it dealt with a personal interview. Jonathan knew he had to have Liza but the question became would she give up her career for him or would a scandal end both of their careers. John is determined to have his way to win it all from his personal life to his professional life and he goes the limit to make it happen.
I can’t wait to go back and check out the first book of the Warner family but one thing I would love for Ann to answer is… will Jillian get her own book?
This book had a presidential campaign as it's backdrop and I always love a political scenario in a romance. But, CAMPAIGN FOR SEDUCTION fell short solely because I could not stand the heroine. She came off as annoying and entirely too insecure, while I found the hero Sen John Warner exciting, charismatic, sexy what you would expect in a romance. The story itself was good though I found it hard to believe that an African American presidential candidate would refuse to use his assigned Secret Service detail, though not using them made it easier to contrive an attempt on the Senator's life in the story. Parts of the book also gave the reader to much insight into the two characters thoughts.
Another wonderful installment about the Warner family. This book feels like it is much bigger than the 217 pages that it is because the author has done a great job of delivering a story with multiple layers. This is a story of two successful professionals that try their best to fight the attraction to each other because of their commitments to their careers, but love often comes when you least expect. The storyline dealt with the behind the scenes of a political campaign, ethics when campaigning, dementia, and elderly care.
Well, I just finished Campaign for Seduction...although it started off a little slow for me...it DEFINITELY picked up...OH, what a campaign ride it was for John...and Ms. Liza is SOMETHING else...I also hope that Jillian gets a novel of her own...she deserves to get a second chance at love after all the BS her husband put her through...talk about a first class JERK...YUP...another worthwhile read by Ann Christopher.
4.5 if I could give it. John Warner had his "grown man" on. I haven't like a Kimani title as much as this in a long time. Liza did not stand a chance. There were no games ...John knew he wanted this woman and that was it. I liked the obvious parallels to the 2008 Presidential campaign but also the fact that John's character was not based on our current man in Office. John Warner was the truth.
I enjoyed this book from the first page until the last. I loved that it was about politics, media, and romance. The like the struggle between John and Liza who were well rounded and intelligent. The chemistry between John and Liza was so believable and hot.
I felt the book was more about the campaign for presidency (like watching the news) than an actual romance. Overall, it was okay. Didn't leave me smiling.
