History of the United States Mint and its Coinage is a sweeping overview of money here. It starts with wampum and furs and veers off into coinage otherwise known as change. Since most people don’t carry change these days this would be aimed at an even smaller niche market than when it was originally published.

More like a general survey of American coinage with some chapters about the mints. Not well edited or organized, but filled with fun facts.
