Besides his extraordinary blog AskTom.com, Thomas Kyte also writes some of the best literature about how the Oracle Database works. This book is a must read for DBAs and architects as it explains the complexities in a highly readable form with examples and exercises to increase and deepen understanding. I cannot say enough about how great this book is.

Thomas Kyte is one of the best writers on Oracle database. When researching difficult to find info on reference partitioning, his book based explanation covered the topic the most completely.
