Father Paul and Father Conrad travel to Hollywood, Los Angeles, where several young actresses were found dead. They must investigate and fight an eternal, vampiric entity that feeds on the naive hopefuls that come to the city of dreams only to find a nightmare drenched in blood. Their own blood. And this time, the allure of darkness proves too strong for one of the two brave exorcists...
Father Paul just wants his normal life, teaching no demons involved. Father Conrad has other ideas when he comes to get Father Paul to help him with a new monster. Will they be able to stop the evil, or will it claim them? Pulse pounding edge of seat read. Full of surprises.
Conrad and Paul are at it again although reluctantly by Paul. This time they are hunting a vampire that takes an interest in Paul. Another good book! I like that it is fast paced and not drawn out
Book 2 of the American Exorcist follows the same two priests (Conrad & Paul) as they team up to fight another evil entity, this time in LA. There’s plenty there, right?
Unlike the first book, this evil has much stronger powers & it takes a lot of cunning for them to stay out of danger.
Short chapters make for perfect “I’ll read one more chapter” that turns into eight.
Don’t know if there’s a 3rd book, but if there is… I’ll grab it!
This second book in this series is another great read. This time, the weird priestly duo of exorcists is off to Hollywood to investigate what can only be described as vampiric behavior. This is a lot like the first book, but it has a bit more paranormal chops to it than the first. Definitely a fun and quick read.
Enjoyable, like the previous story. The two characters (priests) were a study in contrasts --one a dedicated, lifelong demon hunter and one who wasn't quite sure of his own identity -- what he stood for theologically and how he related to their adversaries.
Good story but not as exciting as the first story. Famous actor is killing his female costars. No one knows what's happening except for the demon hunting priests. One of them almost becomes the vampires companion!
Another great story. I truly love the balance between Conrad and Paul and the back and forth of feelings between them. I will say I wonder about Tyrone. Please keep this series going!!
