Biography of Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci

Leonardo da Vinci was born on April 15, 1452 in the outskirts and farmlands of Florence, Italy. His mom left him and her name was Caterina da Vinci and his dad raised him for 2 years and he was a businessman and his name is Piero Fruosino di Antonio da Vinci . Leonardo had many brothers and sisters but unfortunately, all of them are unknown. He was normally just called “Leonardo da Vinci” which means Leonardo from Vinci. He was never a married man. He also had no children. He was raised by his grandparents and was an excellent athlete. He loved nature, how to draw it, and to study it. He always kept a notebook and wrote his childhood on it.
Leonardo da Vinci was homeschooled by his grandparents. After being homeschooled, his dad put him in an art class under the famous artist, Verrachio. Leonardo stayed until his early twenties and worked his way up until he surpassed his the teacher Verrachio. Verrachio was so impressed that he never painted again because he wasn’t as good, but he kept sculpting. The art school also provided him with mathematics, speech, writing ( he was dyslexic ), and reading. Soon after attending the school, Verrachio told others about Leonardo’s great work. Then, he was invited by Ludovico Sforza and Leonardo became a court artist. While being a court artist, he studied and practiced dissecting a human body, which is called the study of anatomy. He was also a fine musician and a botanist. He was also known as a geologist, architect, mathematician, writer, and a cartographer. He was mainly a sculptor, engineer, inventor, and an excellent painter. As an inventor, he made tanks and other warfare weapons, flying machines, robots, solar power, diving suits, adding machines, double hulls, plate tectonics, traveling machines, ball bearings, ornithopter, machine guns, armored tanks and cars, self-propelled cart, the city of the future, aerial screw, robotic knight, parachutes, robot child, viola organista, anemometer, 33- barreled organ, and a triple barrel cannon, etc.
Some of the accomplishments that Leonardo made were paintings such as The Mona Lisa, The Last Supper, The Vitruvian Man, and The Virgin and Child with Saint Anne, and many more. He made inventions that I mentioned in the second paragraph. He was also invited to live with the king and work for him several times by different kings. He also sculpted a giant clay horse, but it was lost during a war that was happening. Whenever he moved and invented stuff, the king was very grateful for his brilliant mind. He is a genius and was supported with many accomplishments and rewards.
Through this time he became religious in the year 1501. Soon he began teaching children, such as Silas and Raphael. He also had a competition with Michelangelo ( another famous artist and sculptor ) . Leonardo is now dead. He died at age 67 in 1519 on May 2. His death is still unknown, but has mostly been said that he died of old age. He also died in the hands of the one that gave him his home, Francis I. Today only half of his book ( diary/ inventions/ journal ) still exist. We are trying to discover more about this remarkable person.
