The art is still cool, and *some* of the recent plot developments are neat to see finally happen - but some aspects of the plot have definitely also taken a few odd turns in a way that I reaaally can't tell how in-story concerned the MC should be about various situations she's found herself going along with the flow for lol.

So far, it seems to be a "go with the flow, don't think too hard about the implications of x, it's (probably) not a factor" type story.

And maybe the newest developments will go in some relatively fantastical directions with new possibilities opened up - and I bet we'll get more 'interesting' (spicy and well drawn) situations best enjoyed by not thinking too hard about one bit or another-- which might be *perfect* if that's what you're looking for in an series like this one.

I'm giving this one just on the lower side of 3.5 stars - neat developments, and I'll read the next one -- but some of the circumstances in this volume took me out of the story, as I found it hard to judge how "serious" certain situations are meant to be taken by the MC :p

While I liked the progress in this volume, I came to terms that I don’t necessarily like Jun and I wish that she would’ve stayed as just the childhood friend. I really liked seeing Nadeshiko become more certain in her feelings for Akane and the steps that she took to make her feelings known. I have mixed emotions about Akane being so indecisive but am glad that she came to a realization towards the end of this volume.
