Can you name 101 dinosaurs off the top of your head? Do you know which of them came first? Which was the first to go? Who was the tallest? How about the longest? The smallest? Fastest? Prettiest? Sleepiest? Dustin Harbin revisits some of the most awe-inspiring dinos to roam the earth in the Leporello format, a simple but beautifully illustrated infographic book that unravels 6.5 feet long.
Will be an essential for any young Dino-fanatic. Even though the book has minimal information (name and a key detail for each dino), the format is really great for learning the names of some lesser-known dinosaurs, and for comparing the size and markings of all the featured types. I viewed this on an iPad, so I am really interested to see what the 6.5ft paper version looks like! Side note: the asteroid at the end of the line is a nice touch :)
Behold the Dinosaurs! is a great introduction to dinosaurs as well as a dinosaur-lovers dream! It contains a number of dinosaurs includes their names (common & scientific), the period in which they lived, size and where they lived. It is a beautifully displayed resource.
