While outdated in some aspects, since it was published in the late 70’s, early 80’s, the essence and main concepts remain evergreen.

Definitely a good read for any independent thinker looking to expand his horizons and freedom.

You’ll find topics like passports, citizenships, visas, investments (real estate and others), taxes, an individual analysis of the most interesting countries, and even more obscure topics, like extradition, deportation, and asylum.

The most valuable content though, in my opinion, is its underlying philosophy, encapsulated, in spirit, in this brilliant quote from one of the chapters:
“The man confined to one village or borough has, in reality, little freedom. His life is programmed by the traditions and values of the tribe. The person who can break free of the traditions of his village is the person who has begun to realize the full range of his human potential. The free man of the future may well be the citizen of the world.”

A one of a kind, if a bit out of date, book on international travel and living from a libertarian perspective: the author sees nothing wrong tax evasion, passport fraud, and most drug crimes and gives tips on how not to be extradited and how to avoid the taxing of the fruits of your labor.
It's all written very intelligently and seriously however. I love it.

This book is a good general guide to international investment and expatriation, however, it is outdated and could do with a new edition.
