While this isn't a comprehensive guide to starting and running a craft business, it's a great resource to get kids started. It has several ideas of items they could make, along with where and how to sell them. It's a very short book, but would be a good read for a crafty kid interested in making some extra cash.
I wish it had been a bit longer and that there had been some information on market research. But there was good information on money management and pricing products to make a profit. It also talked about quality quite a bit. It was a very shortened, condensed version of all the art business books out there for adults.

This book is great for those middle grade makers out there. Maybe they already have an idea, but don't know how to sell it. Or maybe they're a crafty type, but don't have an idea of what they want to sell. This is the perfect book for those students! This is a very worthwhile book for a kid who needs to make extra money, but isn't old enough for a job.
