Rate this book
It wouldn't be giving too much away to mention that Ian Pierce is better known as John Pierson, much better known as Jughead, guitarist of punk rock superstars Screeching Weasel. Renaissance man that he is, in his other life he is an actor, playwright, member of Chicago's Neo-Futurists and publishing impressario. This volume brings together 6 plays, exploring passion, insanity, and the mundanities of life.

There are these things called 'plays' and what they are is a bunch of people dressing up and pretending that they're on TV or in a movie or something. I assume it's to pass the time while the power is out and you can't actually watch TV. This book is a collection of these 'play' things. I guess you have to collect them in a book in case the power goes out and you have no friends to dress up and act out the 'plays'... I read it eight times.

When I read this in late high school or early college, I remember thinking my favorite of the bunch was "Four Clowns & A Bench."
