I was looking for some tips and insights into activities for teaching AI to high school seniors. I was not looking to learn about AI from this book. In that light, I was really glad to gain some great ideas from someone who has been teaching AI for a while. I got about 15 great ideas from this book which is way more than I expected would be applicable to my specific situation. A quick read for finding and getting what you need, but a rich resource I will return to as I gain more experience.
I started this books as an ebook, offered to me for free through a class. I was enjoying the book so I did go out and buy it. The book is very organized, easy to navigate and offers quite a few suggestions for lessons, additional reading and activities. I particularly like the resources section and will be using the book as it's own resource for that.
If you want to learn more about AI, this book will definitely provide you with plenty of resources and ideas. I plan on adding AI lessons into my plans after learning that you just have to try it out and learn alongside your students.
This book has several AI websites to explore and gives good ideas on how to integrate AI into a classroom from Pre-K to 12th grade. It doesn't deal as strongly with the drawbacks of AI, but I read another book concurrently to balance out the ideas.
