Trouble is brewing in Asturia. As Allen continues to aid Van and Hitomi's battle against the Empire, Zaibach sends Opal, a human Energist and one of their most powerful envoys, to confront Asturia over Allen's actions. He gives the King of Asturia a very clear warning to stop assisting Prince Van, one that almost costs the king his life. When Van, Shian, Hitomi and Allen at last return to Asturia, they find the entire kingdom in shambles. Worried that further involvement with their cause will only bring more destruction from Zaibach, Princess Millerna asks Van to leave. However, when that doesn't work, her father convinces her that more drastic measures are necessary...more permanent measures. After botching an assassination attempt on Prince Van, Millerna then sets her sights on Allen himself, condemning him to execution. However, when Van, Hitomi and Shian try to rescue him they discover that all is not as it seems, and that Asturia's safety, and the safety of all of Gaea, rests in the hands of one group...a ragtag bunch of rebels that call themselves the Revolutionist's Army.

With each volume The Vision of Escaflowne gets better and better. I'm starting to enjoy this series now.
In this volume we are introduced to a new Energist with evil intent.

Dans la même dynamique que le précédent tome : de l’action entre mechas, de la ruse et des révélations. J’ai encore tiqué avec Burn toujours aussi agréable avec Hitomi (c’est faux, il se permet d'être désagréable envers elle car elle se mettait à pleurer. Un vrai bonheur ce mec, je vous le dis).

Quelques dialogues et moments vraiment risibles mais dans l’ensemble cela se lit bien. On est toujours très loin du coup de cœur par rapport à l’animé vu que je n’adhère pas aux chara-design qui manquent tellement de charisme et de plus le caractère antipathique des protagonistes qui n’aide pas à avoir de l’affection pour qui que ce soit, ni vouloir qu’ils réussissent.

I like how we're seeing more of the side character's part of the story. Everything is still totally different from the anime, but I'm enjoying it about as much.

I didn't read the magna. However i watched the the anime and it was really good. I'm scared or nervous what the magna is like... Is it bad the magna?

A bit better on the content front, though still quite a bit of language. The story and artwork, however, were just as good as they were in the previous volumes.
