Only one of us is happy, and it isn’t me. However, this is a great guide to contracts and I love the banter between authors.

I started this before starting contracts (it was the recommended supplement to our casebook and is by the same three coauthors), but it fell by the wayside while keeping up with actual assigned readings during the semester. I read most of it during exam reading period and finished it up this week. Reading it as a study guide, I found it really helpful for synthesizing a lot of the rules that come out of cases.

The authors' continual making fun of each other was even more pronounced here than in the casebook and still amusing. Also, their penchant for buying and selling armadillos is something to behold.

So...many...typos!

I like this series. They give easy to read, fun (law reading grade fun) summaries of all the required courses. But there are so so many typos! It gets really annoying after a while. Please edit better.

Only getting 3 stars bc this book single handedly saved my grade but I hated every minute of it

For a topic that is typically considered dry, the short and happy guide to the world of contracts is very entertaining. The book clearly conveyed the important information regarding an overview of contracts, but it also kept the topic interesting. From the case selection to the funny comments by the authors, it is clear the book was intended to entertain along with educate. I would recommend this for any first year law student, or anyone who is crazy enough to want an introduction to contracts.

This book is an excellent little review of a basic Contracts course. I found it helpful in providing a "big picture" overview, but I wouldn't recommend using this little book to teach you any of the topics. Still, it's a great refresher when studying for exams!
