We read this book in a hurry today, so we only got to read through it once. It’s a cute story, that teaches children that everyone has something special about them.

The sentences are a little longer at times, and my daughter didn’t seem particularly drawn in by this book.

We used to watch Daniel Tiger, but haven’t in a little bit, but I’m pretty sure we’ve seen the episode this book is based on.

While my daughter wasn’t overjoyed to read this book, I still thought it was cute, and liked the message that this book teaches.

My three-year-old loves this book because it's Daniel Tiger, but it's oh, so wordy. There is far too much text for the age group that loves Daniel Tiger. I prefer the easy reader Daniel Tiger books; they have just the right amount of text for a three-year-old to sit through. We only get through this one by heavy abridging.

This was our first Daniel Tiger book and we're absolutely convinced that Teacher Harriet and Miss Elaina are mu-mmy, so of course we had to point that out every 2.5 seconds. Cats, owls, tigers...all our favourite animals to make sounds to. Fun book.

While at school, Daniel Tiger and his classmates show off what makes them special. O the Owl is nervous because he thinks there is nothing special about himself. Daniel reassures O the Owl that he is indeed special.

When a talent show is put on by Daniel's preschool class, O the Owl feels left out because he can't figure out what makes him special. While my daughter loves to sing the "Daniel Tiger" rock song, this book version is not as lively.
