P.S. Power

P.S. Power works in fiction, mainly focusing on Fantasy, Science Fiction and Horror genres, with brief forays into other things just to keep life interesting. He averages 1 to 2 books monthly and has several series going. He lives in an isolated cabin in the middle of nowhere, as a recluse, yet still manages to find time to talk to people online, in a positive and delightful manner. Not one of those creepy hermit types though, you understand. It's more of an isolated farm style thing. Or ranch really. He's also interested in three dimensional photography, and long moonlit walks on the beach, sometimes with vampires. When he can find time he also does writing and voice work for scripted online programs. Anyway, feel free to drop him a line.

Hello Everyone!

In chatting with Dale over the past few weeks, it was decided that he was interested in blogging to you, his readers. The blog he had within the main site was not going to be a viable solution and there were thoughts of just creating a Forum where only he could post and everyone else could reply. This MOD is a nice meeting of the two for what will hopefully be a highly successful blog!

Hoping this first (and only) post by me will kick off a nice method of interaction with Dale's readers!

p.s. - Also going to try and get the feed that comes with this to feed into Amazon and Goodreads. Good luck to one and all!!

Surprisingly good

Love the build on characters and how kept story flowing one book to other. Really looking forward to end. Braid is working my last nerve. Really felt like was right there with characters.

A great compilation, an enjoyable experience with every one of the books in here present, a great introduction to the Super powered world of the Infected, all the troubles that come from having this powers, the consequences of their first mode in their everyday live, and the scrutiny that the group is forced to live under to placate a government which opposition of them grown stronger instead of the need to protect them and learn to coexist with them. The great thing about this series is that it doesn't focus in a single character and how his appearance is made to change the status quo, it strongly focus in the Agency created to protect regular humans and infected from each other and how although it managed to function so far it has been fighting a losing fight against their employee (the government) leaded by an unscrupulous and ambitious politician added by a dangerous and powerful precog vying for a 'peaceful' future that sacrifices countless lives. So the agency is forced to fight in an unwinnable position to defend people that would rather sooner see them trapped or incarcerated without privileges that ever thank them for saving their lives.

Well written and engaging

I picked up this at the suggestion of a friend, and was not disappointed. The story flowed well, and the character development was outstanding. The first book was a little long for my usual tastes,b but the rest fell right in the range I enjoy. The reason for the 4 star instead of 5 rating is due to my dislike of some of the logic through the series. That said, I will be getting the remaining books in the series.

Overcomers!

Got a socially unacceptable emotional illness...super powers too? Get in line! Forgiveness, tolerance, bigotry, prejudices hit everyone, even the writer of these stories. I’m still hooked!

I was hooked from Proxy all the way to Goblin, all books were very descriptive, adventurous and thrilling. It showed alot what the human race can be Judges, jury and executioners in other words how prejudiced we are. In this series P S Power has written about people they call infected, of cause they are people with great abilities, and that is some who have telekinesis, strength and able to freeze time or move into another.
Proxy is a main feature in all of them after all it is around him this all started (From what I see) if you are a person who likes adventure, romance, thrillers and can be optimistic then these are the books for you. I know I am being very vague on my description, but like I said you have to read them for yourself and then rate them.
I will say one thing this is not for the the faint hearted it does contain homosexuality and other things. I would also like to see how people find the ending of this series, I know how I feel-but I wont mention it, lets just put it this way I hope there's more.
All up though P S Power does deserve a 5 star rating.

I got this box set after reading the first one individually. great value for money....cost me a couple of really late nights as once I started I couldn't stop. only fault with these books is that the writing can get a bit immature at times. it is told mostly from the perspective of teenagers so that is most likely unavoidable. if you can grit your teeth through some of these sections of the books then you should love the series

Excellent

The world building for this book was masterful. I enjoyed the alternate reality a great deal. I'm very much looking forward to the next one. The "inflected" are a new type of human that have various powers. In one book I do wish the author didn't mention his supreme dislike of fatness quite so often. I mean seriously , look who your audience is? Most readers are not supreme fitness fanatics. However, that was in only one book. I really liked the series .

I really enjoyed these books especially The ones with Denis and Penny as the POV's since they were extremely funny.
My only problem was that the books have given me an aversion to the word "anymore" due to the constant absurd and nonsensical use of it. Please can some one give the author a dictionary with the definition of "anymore" highlighted.

A great introduction to a new P.S. Power series

This 6 book collection is great as a stand alone series, but is just the beginning. The characters introduced will, no doubt, be heard from in future books in the Infected Series. Fun to read and, as always, fast paced.
