FOUR WILDE BROTHERS…ONE WILDE COUNTRY BAND

WILDE RIDERS is the first novel in a spicy new contemporary romance series about four sexy brothers, their small-town bar and their local country band. WILDE RIDERS can be read as a STAND ALONE NOVEL or as part of the SERIES.

Cooper Wilde spent his entire adolescence counting the days until he could escape rural northwest New Jersey. Now at 26, he can’t believe he’s coming back. But his late father’s bar, Haymakers, is in financial trouble and his older brother, Jake, has asked for Cooper’s help.

Riley Smith, 25, is fresh out of her Ivy League MBA program and wants to make an impression on her employer, H & C Bank. Her first solo assignment is a fraud investigation on a business loan they made to Haymakers.

Even though Old Town is less than 90 minutes from New York City, Riley feels like she’s stepped into another world in this remote, one-bar town. Riley can’t wait to do her business and get back to the city as quickly as her sports car will take her…until she meets Cooper Wilde. He’s not like the other guys in this rural town and Riley feels inexplicably attracted to him.

WILDE RIDERS is a sweet lighthearted country romance between a city slicker and a former country boy turned "Wall Street Wannabe" that tries to break the notion that everyone can be strictly classified by stereotypes.

WILDE RIDERS is the debut novel in The Old Town Country Romance series, which details the love lives of four brothers raised in a small New Jersey town named, Old Town, and their small-town bar and country band called "Wilde Riders." As each book primarily focuses on the romantic life of one of the brothers, each can be read on a stand-alone basis.

Cooper Wilde, the second oldest of the Wilde brothers, has always longed to leave his small hometown. After graduating from Columbia Business School, he takes a job on Wall Street, buys a BMW and gets the perfect NYC apartment, intent on never looking back.

Then both his parents pass away, and his older brother, Jake, who is much better at seducing women than running a business, lets the family bar get into financial trouble and asks Cooper for help.

When Riley Smith, also a Columbia MBA grad, is sent out to the "sticks" to investigate the potential fraudulent loan that her employer, H & C Bank, made to the Wilde family bar, Riley is excited to prove herself. Having lived all her life in NYC and determined to make her first million before turning 30, the last thing she is looking for is a relationship, much less with a country boy. Moreover, she is sick of all the "Wall Street Wannabes" who are so self-absorbed and only want to talk about their BMWs, Ivy League educations and their plan to make their own million before they turn 30, so she is convinced that there will be no romance for her in her future as her top, and only, priority is moving up the corporate ladder.

Then Riley meets Cooper and they are instantly attracted to one another. Only problem is she thinks he is a small town boy from New Jersey, and what could she possibly have in common with him? Then when Cooper's younger brother Tucker, who is a veteran and suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, crashes into Riley when she is on her way out of town, Cooper offers to let her stay at his family's home for the weekend until her car can be fixed.

With more time to get to know one another, they begin a passionate "weekend" stand. Cooper, however, neglects to tell her his true identity knowing her animosity towards "Wall Street Wannabes." Once the truth comes out, will Riley give him a chance for a HEA? Moreover, will she even want a HEA with anyone, given her emphasis on her career?

Given the book description, I assumed there would be some suspense surrounding the fraud investigation, but other than to lay the setting for how Cooper and Riley meet, it really serves no other purpose. Instead, the story is more focused on character development and does a good job of describing country life and laying the groundwork for an understanding of the other family members who will be the main characters in the future books to come.

All in all, WILDE RIDERS was an enjoyable, if somewhat predictable, love story that should be appealing to readers that like uncomplicated, feel-good, love stories.

Some errors but overall good

Cool has to return to New Jersey to help one of his brothers Make with the family business. Riley is also on her way there to investigate them. Add a little crash, and a few Jack and Cokes you'll get a HEA!

Cooper is returning to Old Town where he grew up, he can’t believe he is returning to the Town he worked so hard to leave behind. He has returned to help his Brother save the Family Business his Dad had worked so hard to build. It’s in financial trouble and they need his help.

First day back in Old Town and he meets Riley who is working for H & C Bank, who have sent her to investigate the business loan they gave Haymakers. Immediately they feel an attraction but are either ready for that in their lives?

You get the story from both Cooper and Riley’s POV, I really liked that about this book getting into the minds of the two main characters and seeing things from both perspectives. You also get to know both the characters backgrounds from their prospective giving you a great feel for their character.

I couldn't put this book down, I loved it. It was one of those reads that I was half way through and I hadn't moved an inch to even get a drink. It also intrigues you to want to know about the other three brothers and you really will want to know them I can promise you that.

I didn't really enjoy the plot of this book, so I only made it through 33% of it. It was too predictable for me. The MCs both immediately want each other, even though the female MC complains about country boys in the beginning and she also doesn't want a city boy. Basically, she doesn't know what she wants. The story is also told in both points of view, which makes me feel like I don't ever get far enough into one character's head. I couldn't connect with either of them. And lastly, the story could use a little more editing.

This is my first book by this author and it won’t be the last. I absolutely fell in love with the writing style, the emotions, the character and the story. Even the town!
This series is about the four brothers I wouldn’t call this a cowboy or western it’s not. It’s more a country boy, or small-town story. They do live on a farm but there is no horses or anything the sort . But it’s absolutely fabulous romance. I gave it a moderate on the heat. There are several sex scene and they are super- hot and sexy, but tasteful and sensual and spicy, no crass words or anything of the sort. The story centers around the brothers, the sex is just frosting on the cake. Just the way I love it!
Cooper has come home to help his Bothers out of a sticky financial situation. He is the one of the four that has moved out of the small New Jersey town to Manhattan to make more of himself. He even gave his part of the bar to his three brothers but didn’t realise none of them new anything about business and his father had run into issues as well after their mother had died. He had planned ot come home straighten the mess if he could and go back to his life in the city. He has an Ivy league education, drives BMW’s and plans to make a Million by time they are thirty which is in a few months.
Riley works at a big bank in Manhattan. She likes her job and life in the city but is tired of the dating scene. She is tired of the men who brag about their Ivy league education, drive BMW’s and plan to make a Million by time they are thirty. She hates New Jersey and has no desire to go there but has to go investigate a possible mortgage fraud. She hopes to be in and out, especially after meeting Cooper and Jake Wilde. Jake has that million dollar smile, charm, charisma, oozes sex appeal and she can tell he is the other type of man she no longer wants to date; the love-em and leave-em , or just a notch in the bedpost type. She does her business and is on the way out when Bam! she is hit by another of the Wilde brothers…Literally!
This is such a fun story. I couldn’t put it down once I started. I loved how different each brother is and how the three oldest seem to have this brother rivalry, Alpha male competition going on between them. This book sets up the series perfectly, letting us meet the four brothers, describing the town with-out too much unnecessary description, no long backstories, and plenty of action. t also drops in a few other character’s as well. Harley is a cute young girl that had a crush on Cooper since she was twelve. Now she is all grown up and working at the Haystack the Wilde’s Bar.
I also liked that its more insta attraction than insta love and the romance does move fast. I won’t tell you who the romance is between you will have ot read the book and see. You won’t be disappointed. Oh I almost forgotten to mention the band… so if you like hot country music bands this is just one more fabulous reason to buy this book.
I highly recommend this if you’re looking for a sweet, but very spicy romance, clean but hot and sexy, fast paced, page turning and if you like damaged men, smart men, rich men, bartenders, small towns, big hearts and country music bands. Oh yeah; happy, satisfying endings and series that are not cliff-hangers to the next but I promise you will want the next .I do and am off to read it now!

Grab your hat, your boots, your smelling salts and your heart; we’re off on an adventure in rural Old Town, where the Wilde brothers rule supreme! Bar owners, band members and the best looking men around, the four Wilde brothers were hotness in the flesh. For Cooper Wilde, this wasn’t enough, he wanted the bright lights and high speed tension of the big city, and he is making it happen on Wall Street. Then the call comes from home, the bar is in trouble and the brothers need help, pronto.

Also headed for Old Town is bank fraud investigator, Riley Smith, a hard hitting, smart and savvy woman who is like a fish out of water in this one horse town. She loves her job, her life and well, most of her life, she’s holding out for a hero who doesn’t come from Wall Street. Has she found that hero in Cooper? Exactly when will he spill the beans about his Wall Street life? Will it cool the flames threatening to burst into a raging fire, running out of control? How does Riley do her job and keep the man, if it means ruining his family?

Wilde Riders by Savannah Young is one heck of a romantic ride, with the heat up full blast and the tension as taut as a bow string. Riley and Cooper play off each other well, and the rest of the Wilde brothers??? Yeesh, global warming in the flesh! Ms. Young can work up some major heat and still keep the story rolling along. Do you like a romance that makes you feel like a gently toasted marshmallow one minute and a crisp Habanero the next? Take a look at Wild Riders!

Loved the book and can't wait to see what happens to the other three brothers. This story centers on Cooper Wilde. He is a up and coming wall street advisor. He has a plan for his life. He is rising up the scale to make a million by thirty. He owns a BMW. He has returned home to New Jersey from New York to help his brothers in the family bar, they are in trouble since their fathers death six months before. His brothers, Jake, Tucker, and Hunter with him also have a band together. Enter, Riley Smith. She is also from New York and is an up and coming personal in a big bank. She is in New Jersey to check out Haystackers, the bar that the Wildes' own. She is tired of dating the wall street type of man. She is attracted to Cooper thinking he is from New Jersey and not an executive. He decides if he is to have a chance with Riley he needs to not let her know about his real job. This is a cute romance and I know you will enjoy it

Cooper Wilde wanted to be anywhere but back home in rural New Jersey. Out of the four brothers, he is the one who got out and has made something of himself and he has no desire to go back. When it looks like his families bar might be in trouble though, he heads home to help his brother never expecting to meet Riley Smith.

Riley is in New Jersey about a fraud investigation on a business loan which has Cooper's families bar in the center of it. Cooper can't help himself when it comes to Riley though and is not quite honest with who he really is and as their time together becomes something more, he knows he has to be honest before it all implodes.

Entertaining read. I liked that all four of the brothers are vastly different, Jake is a player,, Tucker is the intense one, while Hunter is the gawky young man coming into his own, and Cooper is the sensible one, that is until it comes to Riley.

When picking up this book, I expected it to be a country romance, but for most of the book the main characters hate the country and look down on everything rural. They are so into the material snobbery of their city lives that they can't bear to scuff their $1000 shoes or dirty up their fancy cars. Plus, the 4 main brothers in this story don't act like men. They act like boys arguing over toys or having pissing contests. Not very manly. About 80% through the book, they seemed to turn it around. So, the book gets a very low 3/5. I do not plan to read more in the series. I got this as a free downloaded ebook.

This is the first story about these brothers. Each brother will have their own story. This is Coopers story.

Cooper couldn't wait to get away from the small town that he's from. Now after a phone call from his brother to help him that all changes and he's back. Here he meets Riley. She's a sassy girl who knows what she wants. This book is full of hot men, tension, fun and romance.

I'm so looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Sorry, gave up after 2 chapters....

1. I feel jipt! These are NOT Cowboys. These are wannbe hicks. Not the same thing.

2. When two characters have a word-for-word identical internal dialogue, I quit...that is not showing that the characters are similar and belong together. That is being lazy and liking your computers copy/paste feature too much.

I'm just glad this was a free book because if I would have even paid $0.99 for this I would have been pissed.

Sweet Country Love

First, let me just say this is the highest rating I'll give a non-PNR. Four stars. This book was so sweet and not in a sickly eww-you're-grossing-me-out, throw this book out the window sweet. Sweet as in grown adults actually having conversations and learning that they have soul mates out there. I'm really interested in Tucker's stray. He's so sweet and truly hope he gets his love. I will continue this series and I do recommend it.

I had two of these books (book 2 and book 3) sent to me for an honest review as part of a promotional tour. Now, I prefer to read books in sequence because you can guarantee that it will give away who's with who in book one and that ruins the fun.

Luckily, book 1 was free on Kindle when I checked and decided - obviously - to take a break from my ARC list and decided to start this series.

It wasn't until I started reading books that I realized how much I love a man in jeans, a cowboy hat and boots. I mean.... WOW.

Anyway, back to the book.

Cooper Wilde has done everything he can to get out of Old Town, New Jersey. He went to Columbia and then moved to NY and works on Wall Street.

Riley also lives in NY, work orientated and not looking for a Wall Street Wannabe.

Riley is sent to Rural New Jersey to investigate a fraud claim against a loan taken out Jake Wilde...

That's when two neighbors (practically) cross paths miles away from home.

Riley's first instinct is to tell the Hick from the Sticks that she's not looking for a Wall Street Wannabe which is part of who Cooper is. She might not see it, but he's part wall, part hick.

This makes Coopers lie to Riley so that she can get to know him and fall in love with him before she finds out about who he really is.

After crashing her car and losing a bet, she winds up staying at the Wilde house for the weekend.

Love QUICKLY blossoms and this was where I found a few "huh" moments.

I didn't get the impression Cooper loved her.

& I didn't get the impression he was intense like everyone suddenly noted.

As a whole, I loved the idea, I just think it was missing something... especially in the sex scenes... it all seem pretty one sided and not as hot as it could have been..

Looking forward to book 2!

This is a novel written by an author named Mr. John Bunchy alias Savannah Young. It's about a man who goes to the local bar called "The Devil's Den" for some fun. He meets a girl there named Maggie, but she doesn't seem very interested in him at all. Then again, why should she? He's nothing but a dirty hick who lives in a trailer... or something like that. Anyway, he ends up having sex with her anyway. And then he finds out that she has a boyfriend named Johnny who also happens to be a redneck. So what does this mean? Well, it means that you can have a lot of fun if you're willing to do some things that most people wouldn't consider appropriate. Now, I'm not saying that this book is going to turn you into a rapist or anything like that. But it might make your dick hard and cause you to think about fucking Maggie even more than usual. Trust me, I've done it before (had thoughts).
So yeah, go read it if you want. I'm not going to tell you what to do.

Better written than most indie romances, this book was disappointing in substance. The story was too short for any real character development, there was very little actual sex, and the setting--northwest rural New Jersey--was scarcely believable. I'm not sure what the author's goal was in writing this book, the first of a 4-part family series. If the others are as bland as this one, I wouldn't waste my time.

This is a pity, because the author writes with a nice command of formal written English, a novel delight. Well, except for her bizarre tendency to capitalize non-proper nouns, like Pickup (as in truck).

Now, if only she would put her talent to something meatier than this pointless fluff.

Cooper or Coop is returning home to the country side of New Jersey to help his brother Jake with the family bar. He encounters Riley an accountant that the bank his father loaned money from to update the bar. When Riley is trying to leave Coops’ brother, Tucker, runs into Riley’s car that she just bought. So she gets kind of stuck in upper New Jersey after she makes a bet with Coop and Tucker. She finds herself falling for a guy she doesn’t know the whole truth about and when she finds out she runs. The thing is her not knowing who Coop is, is kind of her own fault. .But as the title empties Riley does tame Coop and Coop has found what he wasn’t looking for in a place he didn’t want to be.

Not From Texas

The story does not take place in Texas or even Oklahoma it takes place in New Jersey on a farm in a small town. It was surprisingly more country than I would have expected. The small town boy going to the big city the big city the girl going to the small-town Meetup the same location. It was a typical Western love story in the east. I enjoyed reading it very much. It's well written and flows smoothly along without overdramatizing the scenery.

I think this book would have been better if it was longer. At only 174 pages, it was not long enough to really develop the characters, set the history of the brothers, etc. And the reason for Riley showing up at their bar was dealt with in, like, a chapter and then never mentioned again. The writing itself was pretty good and easy to read. Had potential so maybe the books get better

In my humble opinion, of course 💙

A good book if you want a bit of romance. Yes they do fall for each other too quickly, but it is a bit of escapism, so sometimes that doesn't matter. Although it's the first in a series it can be read as a standalone, as the other books focus on each of the other brothers. Killed a few spare hours :)

Wildly amateurish

Found this reminiscent of books I loved as a young teenager, short and shallow in both character relationships and plot. I struggled through this and couldn't wait to be finished with it. It's too bad because the brother Tucker's story sounded as if it could've had real plot potential, but that's about the only positive I took from this book.

Sweet

I am a sucker for a sweet love story, and this one fits the bill. I really enjoyed all the characters and the story line. Jake, Cooper, Riley, all of them. I can just imagine sitting in the family bar listening to the family band.

Boys and girls collide.

An easy ready with an assortment of characters. The lives are intertwined and the love comes after a few road blocks. City vs country and i think the country boy won.

A Wilde weekend

One Wilde weekend with a man she just met. He seems to be perfect until she finds out that he is everything she hates due to previous encounters with what he actually does for a living. I loved reading this story.

You don't always get what you want, you get what you need

Fun romance. Thinking you know what you are looking for in love and finding real love can turn your world faster than a swing dance. Where wall street and country lanes meet love builds.

I enjoyed reading this book. Interesting characters and storyline. The heat was just right and not too explicit. I gave it 3 stars because I found the lack of good editing distracting. I will be reading the next in the series and hope the editing is improved.

I always enjoy reading about a family with a lot of boys because I had just the opposite of this family- 4 girls.

It was a fun read and I recommend it ; it's a great break from psycho thrillers.
