Guinness World Records™, known until 2000 as The Guinness Book of Records, is a reference book published annually, containing a collection of world records, both human achievements and the extremes of the natural world. The book itself holds a world record, as the best-selling copyrighted book series of all time. It is also one of the most frequently stolen books from public libraries in the United States
I really liked it. It gave me information about games that I never knew before. I saw the top game and games I like. I found out new games I would look forward to come out, and whenever buy a game, I use the book. I was kind sad that some of the games that were good did not make it. They should make a page of good games that could not make it. The good thing about this book is that you can read it over and over again and you will always find something new like a fact. I read t and I still find something new. I would reccamond this to anyone who like games and has plenty of time.
great compilation of the great games introduced in that year. i didn't really know many of the games mentioned in the book (except the couple of games everyone knew as a kid like mario and sonic), butn now that i'ved played more of them i know the majority of the games in the records. very detailed with not only informative facts and new information of the games, but with speedruns and record times! great to know more about nintendo games, and it's amazing to be able to see the past hype for games released after the book was published and the ones we can play now.
It was an awesome book I loved it. It was different than the other book I read called the 2014 one but I have the 2015 one. I loved this book I have a lot of games I love from this book but five of them is sonic the hedgehog, call of duty, Mario bros, The Legend of Zelda, and Minecraft. I did have a copy of this book even though I lost it I am still trying to find it.
It is what it is. I enjoyed the older game systems and games and where they rank in the Guinness Book of World Records, but much of the new games, and systems, are still too new for me. The hardest part was trying to read the text when the backgrounds were the same color as the text. Overall, it's pretty flashy looking, but if you're not up on new systems and games, you get kind of bored after awhile.
This book presents you with almost all of the AMAZING VIDEO GAME RECORDS.Some records are silly and dumb.eg-Playing Minecraft for 48 hours continuously. There were records that were cool like there was a person who made an identical suit of armor like iron man's. If you want to search for a video game related book,go for this one,it is worth it.Read about 2 games at a time to not get bored.

i think this is pretty cool, and I was laughing at how, well, DUMB some of the things were. One chapter told about a man who went to the hospital because he was dueling with his girlfriend's estranged husband, with a zelda sword, in full costume, and both men went to the hospital!!!! Laughed my head off.
