*AWESOME MALE POV*

You meet Hunter and Autumn in Fierce which is entirely from Autumn's POV. Fury is from Hunter's POV. I really liked Fierce but let me tell you I love Fury. I have to be honest and say I liked Hunter's side of the story better. His side of the story answers some questions you may have had after reading Fierce.

I loved being inside Hunter's head when it came to his feelings for "Leafy" and how much he wanted to protect her. The passion between the two was so much hotter hearing it from Hunter. You learn about the specifics of the deal he made to get his brother out of jail. In Fierce you learn about his learning disability but you truly see how much it effects every aspect of his life in this book. I was kind of blown away by it. To see how Hunter deals with the situations with the gang and the dealings just made me love him even more. After reading Hunter's side I have so much respect for him. After all the crap he has had to deal with in his life and how he overcomes it, you can't help but to admire him.

"Tell me what you want. What you really need. Do you want me to let you go? Do you want me to stop hunting for you? ~Hunter

I think Clarissa did an amazing job writing Fury. I have read male POVs before that seemed like I was rereading the first book, and this one felt as if I was reading an entirely different story. If you liked reading Fierce you will love Fury. I would recommend reading Fierce before diving into Fury. I can't wait to read more about Autumn and Hunter in book 2.

***I received an ARC for an honest review***

This book is 1.5 in the Fierce series by Clarissa Wild. The first one in the series is called Fierce. This book is the same story but told from Hunters POV instead of Autumn’s. I absolutely loved it!!! I Defintely recommend reading Fierce first.

Fury was alot more emotional for me because you get to be inside of Hunters head. You get to see all his insecurities, what he goes through trying to fight what he feels for Autumn, how he feels about his brother and his self.

Autumn and Hunter start to spending time together, she helps him study and he teaches her self defense. Autumn is starting to fall in love with him, but the more she tries to get to know him the more he pushes her away to keep her safe.

Autumn knows Hunter is keeping secrets and she is risking her life by trying to find out what is going on. Drugs, fighting, death, friendship and an almost rape are a few of the obstacles in this roller coaster ride. Does Hunters secret break them apart? Does Hunter helping make things worse? Find out!

5 out of 5 stars!! LOVED being in Hunters head!

**COMPLIMENTARY COPY PROVIDED BY THE AUTHOR FOR AN HONEST REVIEW**

MAD LOVE RATING: 4 HEARTS!!!

Lately, I have taken as procedure not to read the synopsis of any of the books I am about to read. I go by the name and the cover and if it catches my attention, I go for it. I have found that, this way, the experience with the author, the characters, the story are completely more exited. The unknown and the WOW factor, makes the expectation more appealing and the
anticipation...brutal.

When I started reading this book, It gave me the feeling this was going to be another "fighter" story. I mean, come on! They are so THE topic lately and are in such a fad mode, that it seems as if we are living inside a ring. I kid you not! I have read more than enough fighters' stories, that unfortunately, I am not a fan anymore. However, since the author sent me an
advance copy for my assessment, I decided to read it and review it in an unbiased manner, but, Ooooh boy! Did the author put my foot in my mouth? .....

FURY was an almost religious experience, in which many factors came to life and turned this story into an all inclusive package. You have the good, the bad and the ugly. You have the teenagers, college, first love, and many first
times. You have the bad boy, the macho, the temperamental caveman, the whole new experience in becoming a brand new MAN and everything that entails. And then, you have the drugs, the gang, the illegal trade and the clandestine underground fights, and of course, the consequences.

I'd tell you, the story really begins in a way that definitely gives you the impression it was going to be merely about underground fights. Hunter was abandoned by his parents, living with his older brother, who does everything humanly possible to make money, put food on the table and support his younger brother in going to college and giving him a better life, the one he could not have. The brother gets involved with the wrong crowd, with the wrong job and the wrong gang, ending up incarcerated by the
authorities. When Hunter learns of the situation, and the terrible
predicament his brother is in to, he mans-up, and vows to help his brother at all costs, subsequently becoming everything and all his brother was trying to keep him away from.

On the other hand, at college, there is autumn...who is intelligent and innocent at the same time. She reluctantly accepts to help Hunter with his grades and homework. As the days goes by, they develop and attraction and desire for one another. Later, Autumn gets targeted by the gang and Hunter makes her his second priority...keeping her safe no matter what.

It could appear at first that this story has been told, but, do not be mistaken by the beginning of the book, because it happened to me, and this is the reason why I am pointing it out. As the story progresses, it will turn many corners, and many dilemmas the characters will have to face.

At some point, it felt as if I was reading a 21st century version of "The Beauty and the Beast." Autumn giving the impression of being fragile, simple, shy...uhum! yeah right! Hunter, all male full throttle non-BS demeanor, fighting with everyone and everything to protect her. But not only that, the story takes you to the center of all the insecurities faced as young adults. New behaviors, physical attraction, managing jealousy, sex for the first time and how all this affects their first true love relationship. Furthermore, their tenacity and how they endure to find the
ability to overcome all the adversities that comes their way.

The transition from FIERCE to FURY is remarkable. The characters are more strong and defined. I believe the author has been leading us to the cusp of a story, in which their characters have taken on a path to destruction, but will soon take us to the salvation, and the much anticipated end of this great story.

A round of applause to the author! And DEFINITELY, looking forward to the finale of Hunter and autumn's journey.

Looking through the eyes of Hunter gave me a new perspective on this series. I was a fan of his in the first book but I didn't wholly understand his actions and motivations. This book sheds a lot of light on it and I am glad I read it. This review is in exchange for the gifted copy I received from the Author.

Hunter Bane's life held nothing but sorrow and hardship. Being less than well off and a severe learning disability to boot attracted the attention of the school bullies, forcing Hunter to learn at an early age to defend himself. His brother is his only support system and his world is shaken the day he is taken away.

“Your brother just wants the best for you. He’s in it so you won’t have to be,” Jaret says.

I look down at the ground, feeling guilty, knowing full well why my brother is in this mess. He cares so much about me that he risks his life for it.

I’m grateful, yet I can’t stop feeling incredibly angry. There’s this uncontrollable fury raging inside me, and I don’t know what to do with it.”

Autumn Blakewood, the shy nerdy girl who stole his breath, is his only anchor to reality. Carrying the burden of saving his brother alone was proving to be to much and without Autumn's soft touch and tenderness, he would have unraveled at the seams. But he didn't feel worthy of her and wanted to be a better person. This is Hunter's story and how he overcomes his anger and fear to be someone he can face in the mirror and the man Autumn deserves.

“Looking up, I stare right at her. Leafy. Her round, watery eyes are piercing my soul, and I can’t help but glare right back at her. I want her to see me. To see the misery inside my heart, my head. My anger. My pain. I want her to see it all.

I want her to fear it.”

This book was a gift, and I entitle this Amazing because this installment is exactly that! It is a well told story from Hunter's POV and he is so honest about his feelings, hopes and fears that I couldn't help but feel those things with him. Both Hunter and Autumn (Leafy) were perfect for each other even though Hunter kind of fought it at first because he felt like he wasn't good enough for her and then because he was trying to protect her and all the time trying to hide his learning disability. This poor boy had it rough from the word go and and as he came into adulthood it wasn't looking any better or easier for him. His older brother wanted more for Hunter and got in with some really stuff to try and make enough money so Hunter could go to college and have a better chance to do something with his life and get out of the getto. Too late he finds out that he was set up to take a fall for the gang/drug dealers he is working for and ends up in jail. Hunter goes under cover to expose the leader as per a deal with the lead detective on the case. What Hunter goes through is something nightmares are made of, I was so caught up in the action and worrying about him and Autumn I just couldn't put it down til the end. this is a seriously well written story and I would recommend this to adults who like a fast paced, action packed and HOT romance.

I loved this book even more than the first one. Reading a book from the male point of view is so interesting and I find much more introspective than the female's side. You really get to know the character more and realize what makes them tick but also what makes them do the things that they do.

Even though I knew what was going to happen it was not repetitive. I was not skipping parts to see what was going to happen next. I fell in love with Hunter. At such a young age he had more things figured out than most men in their 30's and older. Wild does a great job in writing from the male point of view and he does not seem cheesy or fake.

In this book you see the characters in a different way. They are more polished and more well rounded. I think this is why I enjoyed Fury more than Fierce. I enjoyed the characters more. I grew to love them more and want to route for them.

With Fierce you get an outsider's view of the gang that Hunter is a part of. Whereas in Fury you get to see more of an insider view. It was interesting to me to read about the intricacies of how the gang worked.

I now wait not so patiently for the second book in the series. A five star book for Fury. Very well written and kept me captivated from the very first word.

Hunter…. Hunter M*therf*cking Bane. Enough said :)

Just kidding…there is plenty to say about this SUPER HOT man. FURY is the sequel to FIERCE by Clarissa Wild. Fury is written in Hunter’s POV and I gotta say, it’s way hot. I do believe I liked it better than the first! Getting the insight from the male point of view is just so fun to read, especially when it’s written well, like in this case.

Hunter and Autumn are in college and Hunter has a few secrets that affect his daily life. This is a NA novel, however there are some very serious incidents that occur that keep both the relationship & life event drama high! It was a true page turner! I finished it all in one sitting :) I highly recommend reading the first novel Fierce, before reading this one.

I really loved the complexity of Hunter’s character and the development of his feelings for Autumn. His passion for her came through so strongly. His number one characteristic is his furious love and protectiveness for both Autumn and his brother, Jessie. It was wonderful to see those relationships through his eyes.

I loved Fury and hope there is much more from Hunter and Autumn

I was given the book is exchange for an honest review.

This is 1.5 in the Fierce series by Clarissa Wild. The first one in the series is Called Fierce. This is book is the same story but told from Hunters POV instead of Autumn’s. I think I liked this book more than the first one. You get to read Hunter’s take on everything. I especially liked getting to find out all that he went through and more about how his brother joined the gang. For me the story was so much more powerful from Hunter’s POV. You find out just how much he tried to stay away from Autumn. How much he goes through trying to fight what he feels for her to protect her. How little he thinks of himself. Also how much Autumn means to him, how much better she makes him feel about himself. Most book you only get the girls take on things. I love when books are from the guys POV. I think it makes the book so much better. You rarely get to know how much the guy truly feels about the girl in the book. I can’t wait for the next one in this series to come out.

I read Fierce first and while it was a good book this one just blew it out of the water. I really loved that it was from Hunter's perspective and I felt that I really knew the character and understood him. I thought that it gave me all of the information I felt was lacking in Fierce about him and then some. I felt that the story evolved much better so I was drawn in much quicker than I was with Fierce. It still had those hot moments but I personally thought that the romance was more what I hope for when I read a romance novel. There is nothing like the bad boy turned knight in shinning armor to romantic all rolled into one character to suck me into the story. I could see myself reading this story repeatedly.

I was over-the-moon when I found out there was more of Hunter and Leafy!
How could it get better?
Telling the story through Hunter's eyes of course!!!
It's so much more than a 're-telling'!
5 FURY-ous ***** from one Fierce gal!!!

NOTE: I'd like readers who haven't experienced Fierce to read this review as well. And I have a major aversion to spoilers... Those things in mind, this review will be as vague as I can get. There is no cheating in this book. More importantly - You must read these books!

When I read Fierce - and I only read it because of the cover - I was blown away! I thought how could this get better? When the author announced that there was more to Hunter and Leafy's story I was beyond excited for the next book!! FURY is that book! It's telling the story of how HE lived their meeting, falling, and the insane events that took place in between. It's SO MUCH MORE than just a basic re-telling of the first book!

The way the story unfolds, while weaving through the intricacies of the first book is stunning. The book has two main elements: Hunter's need to help his brother - what ensues as he tries AND Hunter needing to know Leafy - the way she makes him feel and what happens as their relationship progresses. We get so much more of Hunter and don't get me wrong, the cover is just as fierce as the first, but he's more than that. He's a man who was practically raised by his older brother. To keep them fed and a roof over their heads, Jessie - his brother, got into some very shady things. Jessie is Hunter's tether to the Earth. When he sees him battered and bruised, Hunter immediately deflates. He undeniably knows this is their life now.

"My bother is my rock. He is supposed to be the one who cannot be bruised.
And yet he seems broken to the bone."

Like I said this is more than just a re-telling. Hunter is still that amazing character from before, but now... We see just how amazing he really is. We find out just how much harder than everyone else he works. He has to keep notes to remember things - small, menial things. The 'weakness' in his brain makes him even sexier when you see how he overcomes it everyday. Hunter is strong, independent, and resilient. But he's also broken down, scared to death, and more sure than anything that he must make Jessie proud of him. When Jessie gets put in jail, Hunter goes to extremes to get him out. There is nothing he wouldn't do to keep Jessie safe and to try with everything he has to make it all right. The emotions that Hunter experiences as a result of things happening to Jessie run the gamut. I loved seeing him go from the this super tough guy, as he's getting to know Jessie's 'co-workers and hierarchy of dealers', to a man who's utterly defeated, to a brother on a mission. The relationship between Jessie and Hunter is like no other. Jessie going to extreme lengths to provide a life he never had for Hunter and Hunter needing to know his big brother is safe taking any measures to make that happen. There is nothing he wouldn't do for his brother, no lines he wouldn't cross.

"One thing is for sure, though: I can't fail. I simply can't let my brother down. He's done so much for me. This is what I have to do now."

When he first sees Autumn, he notices how beautiful she is - crazy frizzy hair and all. He wants to see her and talk to her and can't get his mind to stop thinking about her. When he finally goes to her, we get to experience all the lust he has for her. It's terrific to experience the emotions he has about his brother and what he has to do to help him. But it's smashing to experience the emotions and connection he forms with Leafy. As his brother is away, I feel like Leafy becomes his reason. Hunter needs to be near her, needs to see her, smell her. It's not a stalky, creepy need but one where it's like breathing. He enjoys the challenge of getting to her. Making her nervous. When she blushes he thinks it's the cutest thing. With the threat of the gang bearing down on him, he knows he needs to stay away from her, yet he just can't. He needs closeness more than anything and he feels they have an 'underdog' connection.

"The moment her beautiful eyes make contact with mine again, I'm lost. It's so hard to remain in control of my emotions. I just want to burst out in screams of frustration and anger and hold her tight, just because I need someone right now."

And again, I'm leaving out some major points and being vague on the others I mention. I'm really having a hard time putting what I read into my own words. It's all eloquently laid before us that it's difficult to let you know how I saw the book and how I felt while reading it. And I did feel many things! I felt involved, more informed, then all the normal things I like to feel as I read a great book! Sadness, happiness, anger, joy, frustration, love, and raw passion. It was an incredible book and to live it, again, but through our Hero's eyes was undeniably fascinating!! I simply couldn't stop turning the pages of my kindle! I was in awe of Hunter in so many ways. In awe of his ability to adapt to things, in awe of the depth of his love for Jessie, in awe of the way he treated his relationship with Leafy. Hunter is a surprising character that takes us all a breathtaking journey!!

"She is my fall, my rise, the branches that catch me when I need her support. She's shown me there's so much more to life, and that I have something to fight for."

Oh Clarissa Wild... I, frankly, could not put this book down!
And I will be web-stalking our author, because I cannot
wait until the next book in the series!!

Now you read the other side of the story. Hunter's POV .

I had said at the end of the book#1 review that Hunter's secret was so well guarded that reading a book under his POV it would take all the fun. But that surprise me.

Yes, the reader knows since the beginning the issue about his brother arrest, for drug dealing, and the deal he done to release his brother from jail . We can learn about the backstage, everything happens in the club, gang underground parties, and especially in the arena.

Besides the dark side that Hunter needs to get involved, there's his learning difficulty problem. He simply can not keep a lot of information, which hinders his academic life. But it was the dream of his brother that at least he graduated and becomes a good person, so he could not disappoint his brother.

It was when she appeared in his life. Autumn Blakewood.
No, he would not even remember her name, but he would remember forever the first time he saw her, the leaves in her hair, her skirt lifted, her embarrassment by that scene, and her voice ... Ahhhh .. .. the voice that could make him forget all problems.

But Hunter was aware that despite the strong attraction he felt for Leafy - nickname he put into her after the episode with the leaves - he meant trouble, and needed to keep her away. But it seemed as if everything conspired in favor of them to be together. Even the place beside her chair in the classroom was always empty...

His agreement with the police did not include any kind of protection or aid, the means, if he was caught, he would be on his own. Hunter then had the difficult mission to infiltrate the gang, to find out who was the boss , protect himself and Leafy and take his brother out of jail. And as he moved away from her, more magnetism united them, and he was more concerned to discover that she was more involved in that situation than he wanted...

No rich and powerful protagonists. Here everyone needed to work hard to achieve something more in life. The ugly side of life comes painted in black and gray colors, but when two lost souls meet each other, one can become the pot at the end of the rainbow to the other, and the road called Hope emerge just ahead .

As in the previous book , the pace and the characters are wonderful .
Here the details are more vivid, the scenes of what happens in the club and arena are described in their entirety. But still, their romance is beautiful to behold.

Again, Clarissa Wild brings us a chilling, thrilling and sexy story til the last consequences .

Having loved Fierce (Fierce #1) it comes as no surprise that Fury rocked my world as well. Written this time as Hunter’s POV, the story mirrors Fierce but at the same time it covers so much more and you get an in-depth insight into the gorgeous but troubled Hunter Bane.

If you haven’t read Fierce, the story is based around nerdy student, Autumn Blakewood, and the school bad boy/fighter, Hunter Bane. Autumn is nervous about starting school. She has been bullied in the past and struggles to fit in.

Autumn is shocked when Hunter singles her out in class but it’s too late to escape his magnetism and she soon finds that her heart and soul belong to him. Autumn knows Hunter is damaged and she can see the pain he experiences on a daily basis but she decides to find out who the real Hunter is by unlocking his secrets.

Together with her friend Evie, Autumn tries to understand who and what is ruling the school from behind the scenes and in doing so puts herself in danger. Hunter seems to be the key to the mystery though and through her stubborn determination, Autumn soon realises that one friend in particular is also involved in the illegal activities.

Fierce review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Throughout Fierce, Hunter’s life and background is hinted at but it’s through reading Fury that you finally get to see the real Hunter. His life hasn’t been easy and with the only person he’s ever depended on in prison, it’s up to Hunter to try to control his emotions and to do whatever is necessary to help his brother Jessie.

Your heart breaks at times for Hunter and his learning disability and how he manages to cope with his memory problems on a daily basis and it’s this vulnerable side which is offset against his bad-boy side which is so endearing to readers. It’s hardly any wonder that Autumn fell in love with him.

In this story you also go to see more of Jaret and his relationship with Hunter as well as a small introduction to Jessie who I really like to know more about. I can’t wait to see what book 2 in the series will be about.

Reader’s note: You need to read Fierce before Fury. There is no cliff-hanger but a HEA!!!

I was gifted a copy of this book by the Author in exchange of an honest review.

Before I start with my review can I say, THANK YOU CLARISSA WILD FOR WRITING THIS, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED HUNTER'S STORY!!!!

(Clears throat and takes few breaths)

This is Fierce 1.5 or Hunter Bane POV, there are some stories that don't necessarily work with a male point of view, however I feel with Fury this is a great complement to Fierce. Hunter needed to have his own story, without the cause for offence I do know there were some readers who found Hunter, quite an emotional character in the first book and I seriously hope they gave it a second chance and read this in order to understand the reasons behind his behaviour, I would like to see it as Fierce being the "How" to "Fury" being the why.

Clarissa goes from strength to strength with every book and this story in my opinion is testament of that, we see the male lead struggling with a learning disability and this topic was carried out brilliantly it was well researched and delivered to perfection.

We know in Fierce he has to fight for his brother's freedom but it is in Fury where we are able to understand the incredible brotherly ties that unite them and the sacrifices that Hunter has to make to achieve this, his every day inner turmoil to keep Autumn safe whilst carrying out his plan.

Of course we see the Bad boy Hunter in all his domineering glory and his desire to both posses and protect Autumn of himself and the bad guys, plenty of steamy scenes and fabulous interaction amongst the leads.

I absolutely love this book it's a total page turner I'm looking forward to read the second book in the series.

Fury is Hunter's story from the beginning you learn more about what happened with his brother Jessie and how it all got started. Jessie will not let his brother become nothing like he is he wants him to go to college and get an education so he can do better with his life.

We know the story of how they met in the first book Fierce, he sees Autumn from across the yard and he can't take his eyes off her. I loved reading about his thoughts ans actions from his perspective even though you know what happens in some of the book it makes it that much more better knowing what he was thinking and feeling.

You find out how he gets into the Alpha Psi frat house, and how be becomes a runner, and has to fight who they tell him to and there is no room for errors, I especially loved what he does and how he goes about it trying to be a good person in a world where there is no good. You see Autumn and Hunter fight there attraction for each other his thoughts and struggles for he thinks she deserves someone better someone who hasn't got a learning disability, deals drugs, fights even if he doesn't want to and is only doing it to get his brother out of jail.

You should read Fierce first as you learn about the story from Autumn's POV and things from her perspective I loved Autumn and Hunter even with all the dancing around the bush about there feelings for each other and mm Hunter is Fierce.

I inhaled Fury, I was lucky enough to pre read this book for Clarissa as part of her Street Team and man o man this was top notch material

My Review of Fierce was pretty hot, but my review of FURY will be better.

It Kept Me Turning Those Kindle Pages Flat Out, I almost did need a robotic finger.

The inside of Hunters brain really brought to life the integrity in the story, he showed that even tough guys can lust after a girl, there was terrific suspense that had you wondering what was going to happen next, this version showed the wonderful bond that forms between a shy girl who is new to a school and through an impromptu meeting a nickname is formed and from that simple nickname a story is built around those two characters

It is very extremely emotional throughout the story, and you carry those emotions with you through the story.

The ending was not how I had envisioned it and thought it would play out, but it still had you sitting on the edge of your seat, waiting patiently for the words to be spoken.

Would I recommend it to everyone, That would be a definite HELL YES

5 stars this time around, Hunters brain made it really real for me.

REVIEW

This book is told from Hunter Banes point of view. We learn more about his life prior to college, about his brother whom is his whole world basically. We learn why he is fighting and why he is involved in this drug blowout. We also hear from his point of view on how he met and fell so deeply inlove with Autumn Blakewood < His Leafy>
Hunter comes across to all who know him as this BAD BOY with a huge chip on his shoulder but in this book we learn why he is how he is.

The first book Fury was Autumns point of view and I have to say I wasn't thrilled with it as it was slow to grow. But with Fury everything comes to a understanding for me and I JUST LOVED this book !!
Clarissa Wild has definitely got a New Fan. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone I know. It is a book series told in a POV but this concept is one I adore and This book brings back to me why I like POV books !!! Clarissa rocked it with Fury !!!!

The story of Hunter and Autumn continues. This time we are given Hunter's POV and insight. His secrets all revealed.

This is a young man who as depended on the love and support of his older brother all his life. With his learning disability undiagnosed but forever affecting his life and short term memory, losing his brother is a fate worse than death. His brother is in jail for dealing drugs to support the two of them and pay for his college education. Hunter has no other choice but do everything in his power to work undercover for the police to free his brother.

Autumn is a distraction Hunter cannot afford. The chemistry and attraction between them is such that Hunter cannot control the need to be near her, protect her and love her. They are absolute opposites. Their attraction starts as a physical pull that evolves into a friendship that grows deeper they both pledge loyalty to each other.

Drugs, death, revenge, and an almost rape are a few of the obstacles in this roller coaster ride. Hunter’s life in is danger if he continues on this path. Autumn is risking hers by trying to find out what is going on in Hunter’s life.

This is an exciting and emotional story of two young adults trying to survive and make the right decisions as they stand in the brink of adulthood.

If you've read "Fierce" by Clarissa Wild, then you'll recognize these characters in "Fury".
This is told from Hunter's POV... and, let me tell you... his point-of-view is fantastic ;) It's amazing being in his head. He's a very complex guy. You definitely cannot judge person, because you really never know what someone is going through in life.

Autumn/Leafy is such a favorite character of mine :) she's feisty, sweet, caring, seemingly awkward, a bookworm (not bad things).

Hunter is drawn to her. She is drawn to Hunter.

I'm not going to give any spoilers. As I say in most of my reviews that I post, I want you to be able to experience this book for yourself ;)

I will say that Clarissa Wild has written a wonderful story here (with both Fierce and Fury). These characters are likable (although frustrating at times). They're also multi-layered, have a lot going on behind the scenes that the onlookers have no idea about.

This book made me happy, sad, impressed, excited, scared, shocked... It really is a great story. If you haven't read this series yet, I highly recommended it.

Fierce is book 1, Fury is book 1.5, and it appears a following book is in the works.

Five stars :)

Fury is another well told story from Clarissa Wild. Fury is told from Hunters pov.

I loved reading Hunter's thoughts and feelings, his insecurities and his ability to make his brother proud by saving him instead of the other way around.

Hunter had a rough childhood, his brother has taken care of him and saved enough money to put him through college.

Once there his brother is arrested and looking at 7-10 years in prison. Hunter can't handle that, his brother won't survive it and Hunter won't survive without the one person he can count on.

So he makes a deal that will hopefully get his brother out of jail.

Autumn catches his eye on the first day of college. They gradually become friends and their relationship develops throughout the story.

I want to tell you how it ends but I just can't bring myself to ruin it for you!

The story has a strong emotional pull, you find yourself feeling hopeful for Hunter, not sorry or pitying him, just wanting better for him. He's always been the outcast and you feel for the guy.

There's violence, drug use, a good bit of fighting all wound into a brilliant story of one man trying to better himself and save his family.

I received this as an ARC and I can really say I loved it. This story is in Hunter POV and it really bring out the Fury he has in this book. At the be gain it tell you what happen to his mother and brother bring out all this fury and raged inside of him but he don't let that stop him from going to college and trying to better himself. I like how he puts has brother first in helping him as his brother did the same for him. I wish it was a safer way but he did what he had to do to get his brother there. The good said of this story is when Hunter mat Autumn and how they became friends no matter how mad he got she never life his side. She stay no matter what he said.and what he did. All that did was bring them closer and in love with each other. I love a love story with pates you much follow to make it work and that was Hunter and Autumn in Fury. Cause he got his brother out of jail and got a girlfriend in one deal and I can't wait to see what happen in the next book.

*I received a copy of this e-book in exchange for an honest review.*
I really enjoyed reading this story through the point of view of Hunter Bane, it really made some aspects of the original story Fierce make more sense and prove how there are always 2 sides to every story. I enjoyed the banter between the characters, the easy flow of the story, the details about the town, the college, the arena, etc. It made the reader feel as if they were really there throughout the story. Fury was a quick, fun read from start to finish and a book that I would recommend to anyone who wants to get lost in a story that involves first love, family, and overcoming all of the obstacles that life throws at you. I am looking forward to the next book by this author and am going to go back to some of her previous books as I enjoy her writing style and stories. Add this one to your TBR list and you won't be sorry!

I received a complimentary copy of this book for an honest review.
Fury is the alternative version of Fierce and is told in Hunter's POV(point of view).
Hunter the bad boy/fighter with the dark side he showed us in Fierce shows us that he does have a softer side with redeeming qualities when it come to Autumn and his brother. This book fills the gaps in the details and gives us more information on the circumstances of the things Hunter is going through that were missing in Fierce.
Fury will completely change your opinion of Hunter and have your heart going out to him for the things he is going through and has been through in his past. Even though he does get mixed up in the wrong crowd we are shown he is trying to do what is right.
Clarissa Wild did an amazing job with this book and the switching of POV's. The story flowed together more smoothly in this book. I am definitely looking forward to what comes out next from this author and highly recommend this book.

I was not sure if I was going to like this one. I loved Fierce but I really don't usually like it when books tell the same story just from another persons point of view, I get bored and don't want to finish them.

That being said I did enjoy Fury in some ways more the Fierce. Hunter has a hard life they touch base in Fierce about his learning disorder but to see how bad it really is was a little bit of a shock.

Fury gives you a much better picture of what all hunter was going through. Wanting to keep leafy safe and trying to save his brother at the same time.

I loved hunters point of view when it came to him and Autumn. I was better then Autumn's point of view I think, but I enjoyed them both.

I would defiantly say read Fierce first and then move on to Fury don't try to read fury alone. Cant wait to see what is next in this story!! I'm sure Clarissa will not disappoint.

I was looking forward to reading fierce but when I finally did I was emensly blown away. Still that was from leafy's pov but I was still curious to know where all that bunched emotion was coming from in hunters pov. So reading fury definitely answered a lot of curious questions As to how did Jessie end up in jail In the first place and how much the brothers mean to each other and finally how did hunter end up in the cage when leafy really needed him console her at Scarlett's death. Writing a point of view from a different character's perspective, about the same story can really be tricky as you don't want to read the same story twice. but I must say the author managed to pull it off quite successfully without totally repeating it. I would definitely like to read part two.

This review is going to be a short one as I don't have a huge amount to say on this book.
This book is a re-telling of Fierce told from the POV of Hunter.
I liked the story better from his POV than Leafy's. Details and background information that were sorely needed in Fierce were given and it really helped flesh out the characters.
However, despite Hunters POV making the story better I still found myself in the same situation that I was in while reading book 1 - that the story was ok but it's not all that unique and in the realm of bad boys and geeky virgins I've read better.
It ins't something I'm likely to read again but if you've read Fierce, or are thinking of doing so, then I'd definitely recommend that you give Fury a read as it really makes the whole story better.

This is a point of view from Hunter. It is shocking to see exactly what he went through to get where he did. To have to try and free his brother from being set up to falling in love with an expecting woman. The obstacles he has to try and overcome to learn is amazing. Asking for help to a lot of courage for him to do but he needed to save his brother. He tried very hard to keep Autumn/ Leafy out of harms way but he couldn't let her know exactly what he was doing either. It was shocking to find out how he felt throughout this book. Especially when he was saving Leafy from the monster leader.

I'm having a hard time understanding why the author didn't put this one out first. The first book made Hunter seem like a complete wimp when his side of the story tells the WHOLE story. Incredible and ass backwards. The story was a lot better and more believable than Fierce. Characters had better development, I'm not sure Autumn should have had her own story, for me it was pointless. She had zero depth. The story flowed beautifully, and my entertainment value was loads better than the first.
