Guy doesn’t do relationships or commitments. All he does is sex, sex, and a little more sex. The women always know the score, and he never gives them a chance to think anything different. Then everything changes when he meets her in the most unlikely of ways.
Emily is done with all men, especially cheating bad boys. After seeing her boyfriend sleeping with a slender woman, she’s had enough and sworn off all men. Then she meets Guy, and all bets are off.
The chemistry between them is sizzling, and neither can deny their growing feelings. However, their fears hold both of them back. Can Guy get past his fear of commitment to finally claim Emily for his own? He knows she is that one woman he doesn’t want to regret leaving behind.
Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound. She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.
I have to say I do like Sam Crescent books and yes you could argue that once you've read one you've read them all but I love them, most of them but I have to admit I struggled with this one. It's the same as usual curvy nice girl who has insecurities about her weight due to past relationships, womanising alpha male....you know the drill but this one just didn't flow, the characters didn't seem right, dialogue seemed stilted in places and for me it just didn't work and I really wanted to like it and for parts of it I did but then I'd find myself cringing in places and well like I said in my opinion it's not her best, not by a long shot.
This book was straight garbage! The characters were immature, the whole book centered around a bar and nothing else, the s e x was blunt and did not hold my interest. It was a waste of time.
Besides that, I think a twelve year old wrote this garbage. The errors, extra words, lack of emotional depth! I can’t say garbage enough! I might seriously try to return this even thought I bought it months ago.
Guy is such a womanizer he uses and loses woman as soon as he's done with them, but then he meet's Emily and let me tell you it was not a good first impression! Emily just arrived in town trying to start her life anew . Just having broken off her relationship from her cheating ex she isn't to keen on dating right now. I enjoyed reading about the turmoil that both Guy and Emily are in! He wants her but she is resisting(even though she wants him) due to his womanizing ways. Definitely a page turner couldn't wait to read what happened next which I won't tell you! Any story that is written by Sam Crescent is amazing and once you read one of her stories you won't want to stop!
This was a really good story about two people who when they first saw each other had totally different reactions. I liked how Guy changed his ways, but he still had a hard time accepting how things had changed. Emily had a good support system, who happened to be friends with Guy. These two made me believe that people can change and good things can happen.
OMG, incredibly awkward dialogue. Nothing very original about storyline: girl finds bf cheating, meets player, player wants no string sex but finds himself falling in love. Wow.... I read an earlier book by author and although it had same terrible dialogue I actually enjoyed the story. This one doesn't even have that going for it.
He's a whore and she's a ditz who can't say no to the whore. No condom? That's okay cause SHE's clean...um, what about the guy that has a go at anything that moves??? And the ending so dumb and without reason.
This was a great little read. The characters were likeable, their relationship was believable, and their struggle with relationships/love was relateable.
