Young elephant and his friend mouse find them caught up in the elephant's stampede and when it stops they have all sorts of questions. Old elephant takes over the teaching of young elephant on their migration. Over the course of the journey they become very close and when they are ready to return home after a night of storms, young elephant finds himself having to deal with the death of a very dear friend. This would be great for counselors to have on hand for children upset by the death of a loved one.
