18 wheels had her heart until one hard-up cowboy found her kickin' up her heels and propositions her to take his bull to Vegas. Jacie Hawkins drives big wheelers for a livin'. Something not a lot of women do. Littleton Oklahoma is just a dry stopover for a few hours of rest and relaxation at the nearest bar. Jacie needs to find a hot cowboy to release some of her pent up frustrations on for the night, but wannabe's aren't her style. Tucker Marshall needs a big-rig driver to haul his prize bull to National Finals Rodeo and he needs one fast. Who would have thought he'd find one shootin' pool at the local bar dressed to kill and takin' numbers? Can some slashed tires and an ornery bull bring two hard-headed people together for some fun in the sun and a little more?

What more could you want besides a hot cowboy and a woman who drives 18 wheelers for a living. Story is very well written & I was so engrossed from page one. Hot steamy sex along with some good old romance
I received this book from the author for truthful review.
HEE HAW!!! Man oh Man was this a great read. I totally related to Jacie because I too am a very strong willed woman and was defo not looking for love when I met my current husband. I was definatley not looking to get married and all that jazz...been there and done that with a negative result. Now Jacie was never married but she had her heart broken by an ex boyfriend/business partner. Her plan was to find a nice piece for the night and move on the next day. Well Kyle (town jackass) approaches her and she eats him alive.
While all this is happening Tucker sees her and is like "HELLO There Darlin!!" A little flirting, dancing and pool and then the 2 decided to have a fun night together. Well damn Kyle for cock blocking Tucker and he is left hawt and alone. Well Kyle isn't done being a "charmer" and causes more issues for Jacie. *drum roll* Tucker to the rescue. The 2 make a business arrangement that is beneficial for both parties to get to Vegas. Well business turns to pleasure...lots and lots of pleasure......Guess what kiddos?? They kinda develop feelings for each other. NO you say? Yes it is true :)
I love this story. It kept me on my toes and even a little teary eyed at the end. I was like "Stubborn old bachelor and friggin' independent women!! Admit the love already!!" I loved the epilogue but I tend to enjoy epilogues. I think it is a great ending to the couple and you can see what is going to happen.
My fav scenes were in the Vegas hotel when the big boob chick hit on Tucker AND when the horse rider hit on Jacie. It was classic Jealousy you see seeping out of the others pours!!! It did give me a giggle.
Sandy gives us a tough as nails cowgirl who is really tired of people putting stereotypes on her, so she leads attitude first. But this cowboy may be the one man to see through the rough and tough exterior she tries to portray to the world.
Jacie Hawkins is so not the lady her family would have liked her to be. She loves driving her big 18 wheeler, and she really isn’t going to take any crap from anyone about it. Life on the road can be a lonely one, and she decides she is going to give herself one night of fun with the cowboy of her choice. Turning down one wannabe cowboy for the hot as hell Tucker Marshall may just bring her more trouble then she is prepared for, and accepting help from Tucker may just be the best decision she makes in her life.
Tucker is in desperate need of a driver to help him get his prized bull to Vegas for the PBR finals, and he comes up with a deal to talk smoking hot Jacie into being that driver. Jacie can be as stubborn as the bull she is transporting, and the inside of an 18 wheeler is only so big. Can they resist each other for the complete trip from Oklahoma to Vegas?? NOOO .. They burn up the sheets with some smoking hot sex that will have you reaching for the ice water or a man.. hehehe
These are two very great complex characters. They both have baggage from their past that directs the way they treat each other, and I feel it plays out beautifully. Often times when authors start with a strong female character, they break them in order to fit the story, and that is so not what happens here. Jacie holds her own against this alpha cowboy. I highly recommend this one to y’all!!
This was a very good story. Jacie and Tucker are both great. They get thrown together by chance but they're actually kinda perfect for each other.
Jacie is a truck driver and also a cowgirl. On her way to Vegas for the finals she runs in to Tucker who is also going to Vegas. Tucker is a cowboy who breeds bulls for the rodeos and he's desperately trying to find a way to get his bull to Vegas. He's never had time for relationships but is very attracted to Jacie and has no qualms about his interest in Jacie.
They have some trouble sent their way but end up deciding to spend a couple weeks together. They both develop feeling for the other but they both suffer from issues with relationship dumbassedness and wont tell the other about their feelings. and I was quite sad when they parted ways. Fortunately one of them got some sense and that wasn't the end of it.
I liked the ending and epilogue...the story didn't end in a cliff hanger but gave the possibility of maybe another book with more of their story...? Maybe not but it seems that way to me. Regardless of whether it gets continued or not this was a really good story. I'd recommend it. :D
I loved this book. Jacie and Tucker are so great together. Both wanted someone to love them for them and neither would admit when they actually found love. Typical strong willed woman and hard headed man.
Jacie is a truck driver on her way to Las Vegas with her horse. When her rig is sabotaged by Kyle all because she turned him down the night before. Tucker steps in to save the day by striking a business deal with her to take him and his bull with her to Las Vegas.
There are some great scenes in the book. My favorite was when Tucker was telling her how to drive her temper got the better of her so she pulled over, got out and threw the keys at him. I loved that entire scene. That is something I would totally do. If you think you can do it better honey here you go attitude knowing darn well they cant. I LOVED IT.
The Epilogue was great. I am a sucker for epilogues and this one didn’t disappoint. All I can say is everyone got what was coming to them in the end.
As the Big & Rich song says but it could easily be switched up to in this book. Jacie is not your typical woman. She is a feisty and fiercely independent who loves the open road and driving her big rig. Jacie is on her way to Vegas to perform in the Barrel Competition with her horse. A stopover in Oklahoma brings her a bit more than she bargained for when she meets Tucker and his bull. Tucker is stuck in a small town and needing to find a way to get to Vegas, so his Bull can win the NFRs … Will Jacie accommodate Tucker and help him out?
I found the book to be both enjoyable as well as interesting to read with a pitch of humor to boot…
Damn! I couldn't get anything done because I couldn't put this book down! I had no idea what was going to happen next. There were surprises around every turn. Tucker was as hot as they come. Loved the way he called her "Darlin'" all the time. And Jacie, stubborn as the day is long, was sexy in an earthy, realistic way. She didn't take any guff from anyone. But when these two collided and sparks flew. Get the fire extinguisher ready because this story threatens to burst into flames. I love western romance and this was one of the best. LOVED it!
Well to start I'm an Oklahoma girl born and breed so I loved that the book started out in my home state. I loved this reads cause it pulls you in from the start and doesn't let up on my drama and the love that grows between Tucker and Jacie as they haul the trailer from Oklahoma to Las Vegas. Its a great read from start to finish. I gave this story five stars for being a great fast read about the places love can take you. Sandy writes some of the best about Cowboys that I have read.
Wow I want Tucker !!!!! This was A great book to read ; Jacie was trucker which she loved and Tucker was a rich cowboy .. I loved how they interacted with each other also did mention the steamy part's ops my bad .. Great book Sandy Sullivan
Sandy has written another AMAZING BOOK! Jacie and Tucker were both great. I loved Jacie's attitude and Tucker is hot! I loved the whole "darlin" thing. *sigh* I love me some cowboys and this book will def get the blood pumping! I highly recommend it!
Loved this steamy romantic ride! Jacie is a strong, independent woman and even when she admits to herself how deeply she cares about Tucker she refuses to acknowledge it. Tucker... WOW... a true cowboy and gentleman that will melt you!
An enjoyable erotic romance, I felt that there could have been more story building and more about the building relationship between the H/h. I wanted more of the interaction and emotion. Lots of steamy however. Overall, well worth the read.
