I didn't read this, I just think it's super funny. A book about how to cure PMS with the Bible?! Written by a man? Haha! Too good.

Very good read. Along with the knowledge I already had about my diet and health as a whole it answered a lot of questions for me, my irrational behaviour a week before I was due on, the things I eat and how it affects my period and since I stopped exercising my periods have been worse and hormones unbalanced. Defo a good read, a reminder that everything we need has already been provided for us.

Creo que el título no es la mejor descripción del libro.

Si hacemos un lado las citas bíblicas y el último capítulo, esta lleno de excelentes consejos para fluir por los desajustes hormonales de fácil aplicación.

Low progesterone levels can lead to low cortisol levels. Also low progesterone can lead to fatigue.
Don’t eat hot beverages or soups from plastic because it can leak xenoestrogens. Don’t microwave in plastic for the same reason.

This is honestly the most ridiculous concept I have ever heard. It claims that following this path will lead to "symptom-free" PMS through prayer, exercise, avoiding excessive estrogen-ridden items like birth control, alcohol, and Tylenol, and lots of natural supplements, one can "overcome."

I have no doubt that a truly valid male doctor can offer advice on PMS and such but I doubt that anyone truly looking for answers will find anything here. I don't doubt that there are women who truly suffer from excessive periods of time during PMS or have trouble dealing with their symptoms for a long duration but this book made it seem like ALL women who experience this need to follow this advice but it is NOT that simple.

Personally, exercise makes my symptoms MUCH worse and I need to consumer ginger ale or Sprite, which of course is a huge "no-no". But that is what works for me and how I deal with it. It is different from other women and how they deal with things. The point is, ladies, find your own path and routine. If walking helps your cramps, go for it! If foraging for a burger or ice cream helps, do it! Listen to your body and don't force yourself to do things someone else expects you to do.
