I would like to thank Booktasters for sending me a copy for a review.
The book starts off with a family(Janeva, Thomas and Katie) vacation on their boat to the coast of British Columbia, where a 100-foot yacht stops at their shore where disaster strikes with the death of the owner of the Yacht (Lorrenzo).
From there we see the fight and search for a Single Shoe which contains A Computer Chip which is said to be the revolutionary.
Gripping mystery. Gets boring in between but picks up speed again. Janeva Jags, while on vacation finds herself entangled in murder mystery of one of her yacht club member. It has a very good plot, too many twists and turns but work in favour of mystery. Whole plot of novel is executed fairly, however, written poorly, which makes it sometimes boring but it picks up its speed once again and keeps us on the edge of our seat. Janeva is a pretty good character. However, other characters including murderer though seem believable sometimes become incomprehensible. There are way too many technical aspects in this novel. Few were required but few could be avoided they really slow pace of otherwise fast story. Unnecessary banters were also one of the cringing elements of the novel. Overall it's a cozy mystery. Wonderful for Sunday rainy afternoon.
I received a complimentary copy in return for an honest review. New to this author's work, with the exception of a few grammatical errors, I was pleasantly surprised at how easily I was drawn into the storyline and the Yacht Club world which is not all glitz and glam when murder finds its way in. With a threat still outstanding, it creates a cliffhanger that will have you hanging on to your seats for the next chapter in this series.
It was a pretty good book. A shoe have a computer chip! And powerful people are crazy to get their hands on that chip! But a mother of a 11year old girl solves the mystery with the help of his computer-geez husband, Thomas. Well it was somewhat intriguing as well as high on the compelling factor, but at times, it got too boring, like who need too many technical jargon which are irrelevant to the mystery and some details about Janeva, Katie and Thomas's life could have in spared. The story got pretty exciting, when Janeva followed Katherine on her yacht. All-in-all, it can be a perfect Sunday afternoon read!!
I love buying and reading these types of books. Boats, yachts, historical events and books about the sea are generally excellent. If there are sequels in your series, I would love to read them.
The beauties of owning the books of important authors cannot be discussed. I'm looking forward to your new books.
For friends who want to read this book, I leave the importance of reading a book here. I wish good luck to the sellers and customers...

Except for the ending, I enjoyed this book quite a lot. It's unfortunate that it kind of ends on a typical James Bond "let's tell them all the secrets first". Otherwise the plot was really interesting and until the end I had a few suspects but never the real murderer. Unfortunately there's still quite a few typos, so I hope the author will correct them in order to make reading more comfortable.

Janeva Jags and her husband own a very large sailing ship. Along with their middle-school-age daughter, Katie, they cruise the Pacific coast during holidays and on weekends. During this particular cruise to British Columbia they've docked near the boat of some dear friends, Stephanie and Greg. They were introduced to several Yacht Club members at their mooring and quickly made plans to meet up later for dinner on one of the yachts. Their host, Lorenzo, styled himself an Italian count; it was obvious he had oodles of money and a very talented cook. He seemed well-travelled and outgoing. The next morning when the Jags family arrives at Lorenzo's yacht for a local tour, they find him dead and cold in the main level office of his boat. A large knife was protruding prominently from his chest. What ensues is a bit challengin and very twist-turny but entertaining despite all the name-dropping and needless explanations of nautical terms. A good beach read, but nothing more.
