This novel book engages teachers in the processes of creativity to encourage creative growth and participation in their classrooms. It emphasizes process, rather than product, so teachers learn that once they tap into their own creativity they are better equipped to help children participate in the creative process. New and expanded content in the fourth edition
I used this book for my Fine Arts for teachers class at Piedmont. I felt that each page was practical for teaching. It covered all forms of teaching children fine arts as well as activities and examples. I know that I will use many of these activities in my classroom and it also shares what the children are actually learning while creating (fine and gross motor skills etc). I am disappointed that they are no longer going to use this text in future semesters. This is one text I plan to keep!
