Jade will have to fight her family (namely her Father & Brother, a Special Op FTA Agent) to be with Ryder.
And when Ryder's Pres Cobra finds out exactly who Jade's Brother is, Ryder will have to fight his Brother to have her.
"You're a modern day fucking Romeo and Juliet.
Yeah. I know about that shit. I'm a biker, not a dumbass."
So we get to ride the wave of Ryder & Jade trying to make it amongst all the Bullshit thrown at them. After being told by his Pres in no uncertain terms to "Ditch the Bitch."
He has to make a choice, his Princess or hisClub Family....
Ryder visits Jade one last time where he tells her the story of his childhood and how he murdered Tiny.
After his heartbreaking admission Jade tells Ryder that she loves him, he then throws it in her face by telling her....
"Princess. You're wrong. I don't love you. You're a good fuck, I'll admit that much."
"But I tire quickly of fucking the same woman. You were nothing more than a challenge. I needed to break that haughty uptight bitch down to size. Now I've done that, I'm satisfied."
"Go marry Marcus. He's what a bitch like you deserves. I'm out of here. Thanks for the fuck tonight, I'll put your notch on my bedpost."
....leaving Jade Broken. Empty. Shattered.
Ryder then leaves town to try and put some distance between the two, but as is life we ALL know that doesn't work, and having distance between the two just makes him want her more!
Then FINALLY they come back together but still with the realisation they still havehurdles Family to overcome.
No, it only made me more determined to fight for her. Our

I have to say I was kinda disappointed in the ending, when they had finally hooked back up I was itching to see how Harrison & Cobra were going to take to the news but I spouse *sulks & pouts* as with any Clever Cookie author, Jani has left that for book #2

4 Family Ties Stars
Families can be a pain in the ass, right? They can embarrass you. You might want to kick them in the shins occasionally. Or deny you are related to them. They might try to boss you around or tell you how to live your life. Not mine of course (hi Mom). I have a lot of family. As in A LOT. But I am never put out with any of them. Ever. (hi Family) But Ryder and Jade....they have some family issues.
We first met Jade and Ryder in the prequel, appropriately named, Ryder, The Prequel. Its really good to start there. Gives you the background of the characters.
Jade is the successful daughter of a successful lawyer. Her family has certain expectations for her life. She will marry a nice, rich, connected guy and settle down. What they don't expect is for her to take off on the back of a motorcycle driven by a sexy tatted MC member. And the person who is the most upset? The one who will really try to tell her how to lead her life....her brother, the cop. On the Gang and MC Club Task Force. See the problems that are going to arise?
My world wouldn't accept him as much as his wouldn't accept me.
Ryder is the VP of the Scorpions MC. He takes care of his brothers and their families. His actual family is small. Mainly because he killed his father and his brother lives far away. He mom has been MIA for most of his life. But that little tidbit about killing his father....yeah, that sent him to juvie for a while and set him up to join the Scorpions. He is grateful for the family he has. But they also place demands on his life. He is loyal to them, but can he give up his own happiness for the club?
When Jade and Ryder connect, it is super sexy. Like Whoa Baby Uber HAWT. They agree they aren't exactly suited for each other, but one night can't hurt. They soon learn that the heart wants what the heart wants. And other body parts. That are much more fun than the heart. Really fun body parts.

When they are together, they are creating dangerous situations for themselves and everyone they care about. There are rival gangs, police raids, secure rooms in clubs, and....you guessed it....MORE family.

The book ends, but the story does not. There is no cliffhanger, but so many characters and storylines that are waiting to be explored. And Jade and Ryder, their story is not done. Just waiting to be continued.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review
Holy Hell...I freaking love Ryder. He is my kind of leading man. Alpha, dominant, dirty talking bad boy, that could care less what anyone thinks of him or the way he lives his life. Harboring painful secrets and trying to survive the cruel twists life has thrown his way, Ryder has always been a love em and chuck em kind a guy. He has had no interest in settling down, and lives his life to the fullest. But after an extreme situation among his biker brethren happens, he is left to look after the clubs presidents wife and kids. A chance encounter while securing a safe place for the family to live, crashes his world into a tail spin.
Enter Jade. Prissy, well to do, judgmental, beautiful, sassy Jade. Jade is studying to be an attorney. With a past of her own that has marked her, she hates all bikers. She views them as horrible criminals without any redeeming qualities. Due to an incident that caused Jade and her brother Harrison pain and heartache, Jade decides all bikers are trash and she steers clear. While her brother Harrison has joined the police gang task force, with the intent to dismantle the Scorpio Stinger MC.
Jade is drawn to Ryder in ways she can not explain. Ryder wants Jade with every ounce of his being. As they learn to ride the waves of their pasts, and work at their relationship, Jade's brother steps in and throws a wrench in their plan. When the MC's president, Cobra, realizes that Jade's brother is the head of the task force bent on destroying the club, Cobra gives Ryder an ultimatum. He has to let Jade go.
Jade is a fantastic female lead. Strong, and sassy. She doesn't back down from what she believes in. She is determined to carve out a good life for herself. She has her life all mapped out. You know, the perfect husband, security, 2.5 kids, house in the suburbs with the white picket fence?? She never realizes what her life is missing until Ryder. And then Ryder blows her plans right out of the water.
Love is found in the most unexpected places. The heart wants what it wants, and sometimes the mind takes a while to catch up. Two Worlds Colliding is a story of opposites attracting, and working. A story of how love can conquer all, and how when two people are committed, anything is possible.
I am ready for the next book please!!! I can not wait to see how Ryder and Jade's story plays out! And on a side note, Lexi, Jade's cousin is a hoot. We meet her while she is working the bar at the MC club house. I really really hope we get her story....she is hilarious and snarky. I adored her.

Holllyy Hotttness!!!! I freaking loved this book and Ryder!!! It should come with a warning because it is so hotttt my kindle was smoking!! Cold Showers will be needed just to cool off!!!
Jade is an up and coming lawyer who has had a pampered life. Ryder is the VP of his MC whose life has been anything but easy. These two are total opposites but when they are together the chemistry between the two is off the charts!! This book picks up right where the prequel left off. After Jade and Ryder's night together she tells him it can't happen again because of her family but no matter how hard they try, they can't stay away from each other.
An incident in the past involving Jade and her brother Harrison (who is now a cop) leaves them broken and scarred when it comes to bikers. How will Harrison react when he finds out his baby sister is now hanging out with the very same people he hates with every fiber of his being? Because Harrison is determined to take down Ryder and his MC, Ryder's best friend and president Cobra has warned him to stay away from Jade to help protect his club but will Ryder be able to obey? Now the Princess and Badass biker have their very own Romeo and Juliet story.

& there back again YAY! I'm glad a read the prequel first because I got a better understanding of the background story line. Ryder is your stereotypical biker with his caveman antics. Jade lives in a whole different world compared to Ryder; she's a princess who has an older brother which is a cop that hates bikers (UH-OH). The odds are against these two ... talk about
Their story is just beginning and problems will arise ... so when's the next one coming out?

Ryder is so hot I may need a cold shower.
Where do I begin? The prequel to this series gave us a "taste" of what was to come. But when these two actually collide together, WOW! I have to say that I do read quite a few MC/biker books these days and this series is going on the favorite shelf. Ryder is the ultimate bad boy biker, and when he meets the rich princess he doesn't know what hit him. One taste and he knows he has to have more. Jade is looking for that kind of love that leaves you breathless, one where you know he will fight for you as much as you will for him. I would love to post a bunch of quotes to show you just how much I'm in love with Ryder and Jade, but being an ARC, things may change. Though I think the book is perfect just the way it is, things happen. The cast of characters surrounding them are a great mix to add the right humor to the story. Love Lexi and Razor! Jade's brother adds to the MC mix, making it "not just the same old biker story". Everything about this book is unique, HOT, interesting, captivating, and a MUST read.
I think Ryder just beat out Ruger for my new book boyfriend!

After reading Ryder's prequel I couldn't wait to get back to this series and boy was book one full of steaminess and intrigue as we get to witness the aftermath of Jade's one night stand with Ryder.
I loved these characters from the outset and they compliment each other so well. From the Princess aka Jade who is rich, smart, sexy and feisty to Ryder aka the dirty talking biker, I have been consumed by their connection and needed more of their story stat.
Two Worlds Colliding picks up with Jade leaving Ryder's bed knowing that anything more than a single night together could spell danger for them both. Jade's brother, Harrison, is determined to bring down every biker gang in the area and she knows that he would never accept his sister dating someone like Ryder. The only problem is that Ryder didn't get the memo and decides that Jade will be his and his alone. Powerless to resist, Jade welcomes him into her bed time after time but it's only when her brother finds out that things become impossible for them as their relationship puts Scorpio Stinger MC under threat.
Jade is furious but accepts that they can't be together and so after a last night together, she sets Ryder free but will Ryder be able to forget Jade and will Jade be able to move on from Ryder?
This was another fast paced read which drew me in as we witnessed a present day Romeo and Juliet try to find a way to be together. I loved all of the characters and especially the twists and turns as new characters are introduced into the storyline. Some of the scenes didn't exactly flow for me but all in all I really enjoyed this story and can't wait to read on.

In the mood for a hot, steamy, bad boy? A fouls mouthed, over protective, gets what he wants man? Well then wait no more became mr. Ryder Knox is definitely someone you will want to get lost in.
He hadn't had an easy life, actually he was dealt the crappiest hand in that department but he was a protector even at a young age protecting his brother while his mom left but he made due and accepted his fate in Juvie until the Malone brothers were his saving grace. Now he is the Vice President of the Scorpio mc. He is rough, tough, sexy and lickable.he makes no excuses for the way he is and when he sees something he wants he dives straight in and right now he wants jade.
Jade is a hot head and judgmental at that, she judges Ryder on appearance the first time they meet
But still it's hard to deny the want she feels for him only she has no intentions of acting on it. They are total complete opposites. She has had a a sheltered life, comes from money and is a lawyer. He is rough and tough and a criminal.
Well hold onto to your Harley seat because these worlds are about to collide and it is combustible. The hot steamy moments are panty melting. The alpha male is hot and exciting and he's there is drama. A brother who hates mc's a mc president who doesn't want jade around but tell that to the two stubborn hot heads who are in love and can't stay away.
I'm sure things are about to implode but it will have to wait for the next book. Although there was sorta a happy ending I this book since they did find one another again it leaves you wondering things like what will happen when Harrison and cobra find out and how will their works combine.
Lexi and razors story should be interesting too.
Now since I am chomping at the bit writing this I must forge ahead because book two is calling for me. I can hear it screaming read me. :)

Jades life is all but mapped out for her. She will become a successful lawyer, marry well, and settle down. This doesn't sit well with her! She's a bit of a free spirit, but a tragic accident in the past has her very much disliking bikers and MCs of any kind!
However, when a situation arises she finds herself on the back of hottie Ryder's bike. Much to the displeasure of her family, namely her brother Harrison who is a cop!
Jade and Ryder are no strangers as they meet in the prequel. They try to fight their attractions and know that they shouldn't be together, but can't seem to stay apart!
"...after tonight, and going by the things Ryder had said, there was no way I was going to be able to keep him away from me"
Ryder is all hot yummy alpha male and VP of the Scorpions MC. He takes zero crap from anyone. His family is the club. He has his own sorted past that put him on the path to the MC. He would do anything for them, but can he give up Jade for their safety?? He cant understand this overpowering connection he has to her!

The Princess and the Biker, is it just lust or are they truly meant to be the love of each other’s lives?
Jade, a beautiful sassy, independent promising young lawyer from a well to do family and Ryder a hot, tough as nail biker with a painful past. Who have very little in common find themselves not being able to stop thinking of the other.
Jani Kay weaves this beautiful, erotic love story that will immerse you into the emotions of the two main characters as if they were your own.
You will follow their struggles of doubt, pain and angst with baited breath. Then you will fall in love with Ryder and Jade as they do and feel ripped apart at their loss, only to learn that love is strong when you can admit it.
Two World Colliding has colourful characters, humour, hot men, beautiful women, sizzling sex scenes, and language that suits the world of a MC (Motorcycle Club). If erotic sex or colourful language is not your taste I would tell you to past but this story is so much more and bypassing it you’ll miss out on one of my favourite books. It’s your call.

I loved the prequel to this book, Ryder. It broke my heart with what happened to him. But I was glad the author wrote it, so we knew what made him tick.
Now on to my review...
Ryder did not disappoint me in this story of two worlds colliding. He and Jade we seriously from two different worlds and had a crazy uphill battle to be together.
Jade is the "princess" never wanting for anything. But something happened in her past that made her judge Ryder from the beginning. Only to be stunned with the actual man himself. The only thing Jade wanted was for someone to love her unconditionally. She was hoping she found that, then bam everything changed. And the person who was there surprised her.
Ryder has a past, a past he's not ashamed of. He loves his life, he has his family, his brothers and his club. Hes rocked to the core by the princess Jade. Never feeling what he feels for her, he doesn't stop till he has her.
Unfortunately someone from her life is bound to keep them apart.
I cant wait to see what happens next.

Holy hell, does Ryder break the mold of sexy, alpha-male, biker. I fell in love with Ryder and Jade in the prequel named Ryder. He made me want to rent a motorcycle for my husband and I. But I digress. The book is absolutely phenomenal. To have a man that wants a women like Ryder wants Jade, and will do whatever he must to keep her makes this book my favorite book boyfriend.
Jade comes from an affluent family that is very protective of her including her domineering brother who just so happens to HATE all motorcycle clubs. He just so happens to be a cop that leads by specific forces operation hell bent on taking down every single MC around. And of course who does Jade love but Ryder, Vice President of the Scorpion MC. Will she defy her family to follow her heart or will she let go of the one thing that makes her happier than she has ever been.
Ryder was given the ultimatum to drop the one girl that has captivated his heart, body and soul. But he has always known that the club comes first. What the Pres says goes and Jade must go. Can he let her go? Will he be able to ride away from the one person he loves more than himself.
Jani has once again created an alpha male book boyfriend that everyone needs to have in their bed.

I love MC books; I can't see to get enough! And Two Worlds Colliding is another great read! Ryder and Jade literally come from two different worlds. And their world comes crashing together.
Ryder is a bad ass, has a dirty mouth, loyal and fiercely protective of the ones he loves, particularly his family--his MC family.
Jade comes from a pretentious family and is expected to live the "perfect" life. She does have a secret past that continues to haunt her and her brother. So because of this secret, she becomes judgmental of people--MCs in general. That is is until she meets Ryder. Ryder breaks that mold for her and becomes conflicted between what her head and heart says.
These two have a back and forth relationship. Both confused of what each family will think. It's not an easy road for these two, but for some reason it works and it's HOT. The chemistry between Ryder and Jade is undeniable hot and steamy.

His hand disappeared under my shirt and he stroked the soft flesh of my belly." I loved these two characters and I can't wait to see them in more books!

This book was so freaking "HOT" that it should come with a warning say this book may combust because it that freaking "HOT". I thought I was going to need a ice cold shower by the time I was done reading this book.
Can the"Big Bad Hot As Hell Biker" Rdyer and " Out Spoken Feisty" Jade can they have their have ever after. Can these two over come every thing that is put in front of them. Will they let other come between their love for each others.
Author Jani Kay has out done her self once again. Because as I read this book she had he laughing, crying, yelling at the book and need a cold shower.
I don't want to give a lot of detail because this book is so amazingly good that every one should read this book.

Ryder and Jade: two characters from different sides of the track. He a member of a MC club, she a lawyer. To top it off, they should never had met and wouldn't have if Jade hadn't caught her boyfriend in a compromising situation. It shouldn't work between them but it does - they complete each other and bring out the best in each other. Is their relationship strong enough to survive everything that their families put in their way?
It grabbed my attention right from the start and kept it right until the end. I loved the colourfulness of the characters and the way that their lives overlap more than you would think. This is not the end of their journey and I can't wait to read more.

This book was to soft and mushy to be an MC book, it did not contain anything about the MC and all the thoughts and feelings stuff was a bit much for me.
I have been guaranteed that the books in this series get harder and better as they go so I will persist and hope they do get better. I would not recommend this book for MC lovers as they will be disappointed, if you are looking for a sappy love story with a hot guy in it then this is your book.

This was a very good hot biker romance. I like the characters and the story and the sex scenes were pretty hot.
I had 2 issues with this book. First issue there was a MAJOR cliffhanger. I didn't know it and it sucked.
Second issue was that there were so many typos and edits and cross-outs that sometimes it was hard to read. I am sure that the author will fix it.

While there was some potential with Ryder, I could not tolerate Jade. This book was way too NA for me and I had to skim through to finish. Not hot.

"The Princess and the 'Badass Biker'. I can just see that headline in the papers."
This was my 1st Motorcycle Club book. At 1st I was having such a hard time with it. Not with the story. But, with some of the language. I have a dirty potty mouth. But, there are some words I won't say. Once that toned down. OMG, I was hooked! This was such a excellent book. I literally could not put this book down.
We start off with Jade telling Ryder that this is just for tonight. Once the sun comes up they go their separate ways. Of course he agrees. But, then as they spend the night together Ryder realizes something. He realizes that Jade is his Princess & he's not letting go of her that easily.
"I never knew someone like you existed. I never knew I could feel like this about another person. I can't name what I feel, because I've never felt it before."
Jade & Ryder come from completely different sides of the tracks. Jade comes from a good family. Her dad is a lawyer. She's following in his footsteps. Her brother Harrison is a big shot cop in charge of taking down the MC Clubs in the area. He hates all bikers with a passion.There is a good reason why. You'll read all about it. Ryder is the total opposite! He spent time in juvi for killing his dad Tiny. It was either his dad dead or his dad kill his brother. While Ryder is in jail he meets Cobra & his brother. Cobra is the President of the Scorpions. They became his family, his brothers. He'll do anything for them.
Jade says she is walking away from Ryder after their very hot, very steamy night together. Ryder is not letting his Princess walk away from him. Jade herself is having a hard time staying away from him. Every minute of the day & night he is in her mind. She feels him. Jade prays she runs into him so bad. Even though she knows it won't end well if her brother finds out.
"Don't want to live without you, Princess. You're what gives my life meaning... makes it worthwhile to get up in the morning. If I ain't got you, I ain't got anything."
Cobra's wife & Jade become good friends. She invites Jade to a bbq at the clubhouse. The minute Ryder & Jade see each other the sparks erupt instantly!! After mind blowing sex, Jade finds out her cousin works there as at the bar. Just as they all start to have a great time. Ryder & Jade's world gets turned upside down. Harrison shows up with a whole SWAT team, looking for his sister & cousin.
Harrison goes off on Jade. He forbids Jade from going anywhere near Ryder. Ryder is getting the same speech from Cobra. He knows that Harrison wants every biker in jail or dead. Even though Harrison knows Ryder has finally found love. He feels like he must protect his family & his club.

Now, Ryder & Jade must choose what they are going to do. Listen to their brothers and be completely miserable. Or do they follow their hearts and turn their backs on their family.

When I say you won't be disappointed when you read this. The only thing that will piss you off, is when it ends!! This book is like nothing that I've read before. Trust me when I tell you that this book has made me a big fan of Motorcycle Club books. You will definitely need a nice cold shower after reading this. Ryder is a big, bad, tattooed biker dude. But, he has demons he needs to bury. They have haunted him for years. His past has made him hard on the outside & inside. Jade changes that. She makes him realize there is more then the club. More then the one time fucks he's use too. Jade also realizes that there is more to life then being treated like a child. Ryder & the club show her that not all bikers are bad people. They are like everyone else.

Book One in The Scorpio Stinger MC, a tale of romance against the odds.
Please Note –it is imperative that you read Ryder (Scorpions MC, #0.5) before you begin this novel, Two Worlds Colliding continues exactly where Ryder finishes and Ryder contains the background material that ensures you understand the essence of this story.
If ever there was a case of the heart wanting what it wants and to hell with circumstances, then this is it.
Life has never played fair with Ryder Knox and when it puts the love of his life in front of him, it’s not making it easy either. Jade Summers is everything that Ryder Knox isn’t but she is also everything that he wants. The book shows us that despite the curveball, sometimes you just have to go with your heart and to hell with the consequences.
Jade has lead and continues to lead a privileged life. Her father is a successful lawyer and she is well on her way to following his footsteps. All she wants is a man to love her like she is the centre of his universe– she finds just that with the foul mouthed, inked up bad ass biker that is Ryder Knox and it sweeps both of them off their feet.
But what chance do you stand when life is conspiring against you.
Jade’s knows that her family will never accept Ryder, VP of the Scorpio Stingers MC. It is not only her parents that will have a hissy fit but her brother Harrison is a Special Op’s police officer, who following a tragic incident involving two motorcycle gangs that changed the direction of his life, has an unhealthy hatred of everything and everyone MC related. Harrison is driven by grief and is harbouring a bit of a death wish if truth be told but with nothing to fight for but a lifelong hatred of what he believes the likes of Ryder took from him - He is just mad enough to kill Ryder and anyone else from the MC that gets in his way.
But Jade has been a good girl all her life, never given them any cause for concern but she wants Ryder and has to make a decision on how to keep her family happy and moreover, how to keep Ryder in her life.
Ryder on the other hand faces “family” issues of his own. The MC are his family, they are all he has ever known and the trouble that Jade can bring with her in the shape of her brother if he continues his relationship with her, could destroy the club and this is pointed out in no uncertain terms by the club President Cobra.
Cobra gives Ryder a directive that for the safety of the club, he has to give Jade up and faced with the unenviable decision of choosing between the guys he has come to rely on or taking a chance and maybe even finding a family of his own with Jade,he really feels that he has no choice at all and my heart broke for both of them at this point.
Love can be a cruel mistress but the trouble with love is it might catch you unawares as it did with Jade and Ryder but it is also a tenacious bitch and will not be shook off easily, where there is a will there most definitely a way and love will find it!!!
The love between these two may be primal but it is complete. Jade knows that her man would die for her, she truly is the centre of his universe and Ryder has finally met a woman that sees past the package that he presents to the world and sees what is inside and loves and accepts him, warts and all!!
Between them they have to accept that what they have is definitely worth fighting for.
There are a couple of important points in the book that are not centred on Jade and Ryder’s relationship but which I think will be pivotal in the upcoming books in the series. But Primarily ,we get a bolt from the blue that relates directly to Ryder and his family – I think this may be a catalyst when it comes to braking down some of Jade’s family prejudices – might be wrong but can't wait to see how that unfolds..
I found the writing style to be competent and direct, the language is colourful but that is to be expected in this genre. I felt some things were skipped over and some situations could have been looked at in more depth but overall it was a great read and has me waiting for the continuation of Jade and Ryder’s story in the next novel Unchain my Heart, due for release on 1st July 2014
