Learn baby animal names with kits, cubs, and ducklings. Andrew Zuckerman's eye-catching pictures of fascinating animals from around the world will enthrall young readers and teach baby animal names celebrating nature in a book that bring this wildly successful photographer's work to a new audience that will surely find themselves immersed.
Totally fine, not as good as colors or the excellent sounds. Our library copy is also torn in a distressing way, so that probably also influences my opinion.
Young readers will love seeing these baby animals, including a leopard cub, a duckling, and a kit (baby rabbit). I love how there are eye-popping illustrations, and even species with which I am not familiar such as the arowana whose baby is called a fry. It never fails to intrigue me how much there is still to learn about the natural world.
