Literally, WTF WAS THAT?!

I am the kind of person who always tries to put the good and bad into my reviews, but truly the only good part was the starting concept. Not even the writing. The concept.

That is it. Everything after that was an actual mess.

If you want to talk plot, there wasn't really any? It kept veering off. At one point, it even became the cousin's mums fault somehow? But that was never followed up on.

Writing wise? Still terrible. There was no showing. Only telling. Even the night they spent together initially was mostly just skipped over? We were barely able to interact with these people, and everything was just told to us after some random bonding seshs?

I had zero feelings for these characters because how can I when I honestly could barely tell Shane and Darius apart 98% of the time and Christian was essentially just beyond rich for no reason?

After all of this, there were some glaringly obvious issues to this story that made me facepalm..

Here's just a couple of dot points that made me go wtf -
• a bullet supposedly lodged in one of the boyfies "6th rib behind his scapula" can't be removed because it was "too close" to his heart 🤦‍♀️ your shoulder blade and your heart are very far apart...
• one if the boyfies was called "OCD" randomly because he apparently always wanted to match a spank mark that was on one butt cheek to the other butt cheek?
• her cousins repeatedly committed violent crimes against her, including breaking and entering, assault, harassment, and vandalism, and somehow they decided calling the police was a bad idea?
• her lawyer boyfriend literally told her cameras were pointless and wouldn't help at all?!
• 🛑SPOILER🛑 all the crimes ended with her OFFERING 40% OF THE BUSINESS TO THESE COUSINS BECAUSE THEYRE "FAMILY"?!?!?!
Keep in mind that these people could've easily gotten her and her men killed. Multiple times over.

These are just the highlights, but you see what I mean, yeah?

Overall, I hated this with every fibre of my being. I'm sorry, but I did.

Entertaining and delightful.

This was a whole heap of steamy fun! I absolutely loved the main female character, Autumn. From the very first page she was absolutely fearless and went after what she wanted with sass, smarts and determination. When three gorgeous men all bid to win a date with her at her best friend’s charity auction, she agrees to a group date, and ultimately initiates a very satisfying end to the date for all 4 of them, but this is just the beginning of their story. Krista Wolf does a wonderful job of letting the reader get to know each character individually, and gives us plenty of scenes between Autumn and each of her gorgeous men individually, in pairs, and all together. While there is plenty of steam throughout, there is also intrigue, drama and excitement, as well as sweetness and swoon. A really entertaining and delightful story.

When Autumn (FMC) agreed to help out friends animal shelter by putting herself up for auction she ends up being dated by 3 hot guys - Lawyer - Christian and 2 Ex-Army guys - Darius & Shane. Which leads to a great group date and plenty of other sexy group activities as well. All in the last night before she left to go home. Only things don't end there when she gets into a family dispute. I loved the kinky dynamic between Autumn and the guys and how protective they all were with her. I really enjoyed reading this book and all the steamy naughtiness in it.

Autumn was auctioned off to three different men, Christian, Darius, and Shane. They had an immediate connection and what was supposed to be a one night stand evolved into a poly relationship. I liked that Autumn was a strong female character who wasn't hesitant about going after what she wanted and what she wanted was to be.... used in all the best ways. C.D.S. were more than happy to accommodate. After their unforgettable night together, they all went their separate ways but once she returns home to her vineyard, she is met with some problematic relatives. They want her vineyard which they believe is rightfully theirs so she calls her men for help.

While protecting her it's no surprise that there are a bunch of (well-written) spicy 🔥 scenes. To be honest, this book wasnt bad but I don't think this book should've been as long as it was because a lot of the problems in this book could've been resolved by simply calling the police. Vandalism? No police. Break-in? No police. Assault? No police. Considering that Christian was a lawyer this was very unrealistic. Another Problem is that you really don't get to know an equal amount about the men. You get to know Christian the best because there are actually moments of he and Autumn having heart to hearts and talking about their family. In contrast, I know nothing about Darius.

I also wasn't a fan of the ending because it made it seem as if all the problems they endured was for nothing. Autumn spent 99% fighting against her relatives and then suddenly had a change of heart, which made absolutely no sense, considering all that they had done. In a way, it felt like a wasted read because of her decision. Overall, there wasn't much world building or character building with the men, but I didn't hate Autumn and I did enjoy reading up until the end. Perhaps, because I didn't have the highest expectations going into this book.

When a bidding war takes places, in the spirit of diplomacy and fairness, all 3 men are declared the winning bidder.  Their resulting date is a night of sexy fun and one left on a note of mutual longing.  Needing to put the date behind her, back to Long Island Amanda goes to where she inherited a dilapidated vineyard from an estranged uncle. Upon her return, she encounters two  cousins she didn't know existed, learning that they are contesting the will based on family rank.  In fear, Amanda reaches out for help  to the 3 men very much still on her mind:  Christian Gardner ruthless lawyer; Darius Knight and Shane Lockhart are both contractors, friends, and had served together in the military. 


As the 3 men assist Autumn in protecting her inheritance and livelihood, feelings are felt and sexy times are aplenty. Will this group prevail in their legal battle? Will the men's hearts survive competing with each other for Autumn's attention? 


The Auction by Krista Wolf is a sexy good time from start to finish. A very likeable cast of characters, satisfying plot, and blazing hot sexual chemistry are sure to leave every reader more than  satisfied. 4.5 stars.

Autumn got talked into being sold at an auction to help her friend's business, Cozy Noses. When no one wanted to bid she took the mic and told the audience that she was a New York woman who knew her worth. So she bid on herself and basically told the "buyers" there if they didn't bid she would take herself on a date for a fabulous meal. There were three men there who were intrigued with her when she did that. Christian, a lawyer,Darius and Shane ex military and builders who put their money to build housing for military personnel. They went to charity auction for Cozy Noses and were intrigued with the woman who bid on herself. Then she has to leave to go home to Long Island and the winery she inherited that she wants to resurrect. Only she comes home to find two men who she knows in her house. The next day she's on the phone to Christian. He is going to help her. He shows up before she does bodily harm on her cousin. Then the next day Darius and Shane arrive. Now they are going to help in one or another. Will they be able to subdue her ornery cousins or go physical on them? What about what they are beginning to be to each other?
Strap yourself into your seats, readers, belt in and get ready as these three incredible hunks barrel into your reader lives with their witty remarks and yummy bodies!!.

This is a HOT and steamy RH,auction romance between Christian, Darius,Shane and Autumn. Autumn had no idea that helping her best-friend Kinsley with her charity fundraiser for her animal shelter would end up with her being put on the auction block. When there were no bids being placed Autumn grabbed the mic and told the crowd that she's a New Yorker and that she knows that she's a catch and she bid on herself. She tells the audience that she would just go out for a great dinner by herself. Autumn's attitude captures the attention of 3 men who were fascinated by what she did and her attitude Christian the lawyer, Darius and Shane ex-military best-friend's who are builders and they build housing for military personnel. It turns into a bidding war between the 3 men and ends in a 3 way tie and she goes on a 3 man date since she's leaving the next day to go home. When Autumn returns home and she finds a horrible surprise she reaches out for help to Christian and she gets more than she ever expected in return. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this HOT and steamy, RH, auction romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

Loved this story yes it was mega mega hot & steamy but it heartwarming.
Autumn was helping her friend out at a charity auction before she returned to the vinery she'd inherited from her uncle but it wasn't your typical auction. A date with her was the lot & she had 3 men competing for her & as it was for charity she agreed to date them all, it turned out that 2 were friends Darius & Shane then the 3rd was Christian a lawyer. They agreed that all 4 of them would go on the date which started as strangers but soon they became so comfortable around each other but the night took a steamy turn when they went to a friend's party. Not wanting the date to end they went back to her hotel which led to an amazing HOT! HOT! HOT! night that none of them wanted to end.
After going their separate ways they couldn't stop thinking about their time together so much so that when she found herself in trouble they were the people she called for help. The guys feelings were already so deep for her that they immediately went to her rescue.
This story sees her meeting the 3 loves of her life but she had a lot of drama from a family she didn't know existed.
This is a wonderful story & once you start reading you won't want to put it down & will fall in l9ve with the guys aswell.

This was a very exciting story, full of Passion and drama and danger. It begins when Christian, Shane, and Darius all arrived at a dating auction to bid on a date and end up with Autumn to help the animal shelter to gain funds to keep it going, each person decided that they were going to win until there was a bidding war, and instead of just one of the men winning the date, they decided that all three could win the date. What started as a one night of fun and laughter turned into, a hot steamy night with the three of them attending a midnight, pyjama party.

Autumn had to go home the next day to get on with her life at her new vineyard that was left to her by her uncle, only need to discover that her cousins that she had no idea existed. Emmett and Edward had moved in and were testing the will. Autumn called her three men to ask for advice, and help turned into a dangerous situation with break-ins and assault, but eventually everything worked out and these four had a wonderful relationship and Autumn was able to settle things with her cousins, and they all had a happily ever after.

When a charity auction turns into three men bidding the max for a date but there is only one night left of her stay. What is a girl to do but go out with all three of them at one time. After all her best friend animal shelter is really in need of funds and she can't let her best friend or the animals down. Shane and Darius where in the army together and are the very best of friends and Christian is a lawyer in Hollywood. Autumn certainly has her hands full but has the night of her life. Until she has to leave the next day. Back to her job and a stalker who is after the winery she inherited. She is trying her best to get it up and running but they are making it impossible and she is facing losing it and everything she owns before she even gets started. Plus there is a dark secret they are holding over her head too. However she has three men willing to do whatever it takes to save her. But can they do it in time? Well you have to read to find out. I loved all these characters so much. They brought so much to each other's lives and they way the book is written you really get to know these characters very well. I loved every second of reading this book.

I’m a huge fan of Krista Wolf’s RH books and this was a steamy one right of the bat.
Anna is a spitfire and she let everyone at the Auction know it. She knows her worth and the money for was charity so why not speak your mind. People is shock but Anna did catch the eye of three dashing men. Christian a well put together Lawyer. Shane and Darius served together and were beyond close. One date only with Anna turned into a three dates in one night. As she was heading back home the next day. Only being in CA for a vaca with her bestie and helping out her cause, an animal shelter. Leaving a lasting impression, Anna heads home. Only to find she has long lost cousins who are after her winery that was willed to her by her uncle. Needing help she calls Christian as he is a lawyer for advice. This starts a whirlwind of awesomeness. These men are a dream come true and o want this trip. Great read!.

Autumn is the winner when she volunteers to be sold at an auction for a date! Christian, Shane, and Darius spend triple the money, triple the fun, and triple the orgasms for a date with Autumn. The chemistry is completely insane, the sharing is not what the guys expected, and the connections between them is jolting.

Krista Wolfe is one of my favorite RH writers because the story is always beyond interesting, the dialogue and narrative is never dull, and there’s such a sense of care and desire with each sexual encounter. Her choreography, her attention to detail, and being able to bring out each character’s emotions makes for an emotional experience.

Autumn never had much of a family, but the guys help her fill that need. Each guy is unique: Christian is a lawyer and very confident, handsome, and discovers the beauty and power of love. Shane and Darius are friends who have their own construction company and work well together, but that teamwork really comes in handy when navigating the ins and outs of Autumn! I loved their story and the bonus is so hopeful for their future.

Autumn is doing her best friend a favor and signs up for her win a date for charity auction but when no one bids on her she takes it into her own hands and bids on herself. Her sassy attitude gets the attention of three bidders who all want to win her date. Unfortunately she’s going home the next day so they’ll have to share and go on a four person date. None of the guys are particularly happy about it but it’s for charity and Autumn gets to handle all of them. When she goes home she has to continue building her vineyard without her three charity dates until she needs help.

Super fun RH with humor and suspense. I was loving the spice and the witty remarks and fun relationships between the guys, it all made it much more enjoyable. I’ve read a Krista Wolf book before and it wasn’t my favorite but this one was a lot better. Looking forward to more from her.

Auction Action 4 ½ stars. - Some women have all the luck LOL. Autumn was picked up by 3 men in an auction. They spent a whole day getting to know each other, having fun together and then having even more fun that night! Autumn went back to her newly-inherited vineyard and discovered that she has cousins contesting her inheritance. They were giving her a hard time. Of course, one of the 3 men in the auction is a lawyer. Christian dropped everything in his practice to help her! Auction buddies Darius and Shane came too and guess what, they were former military and now have a construction company! Two expertises that are very handy to the situation and to the vineyard building structure. But her cousins keep giving her trouble. Nevertheless, it did not affect the scorching affection the 3 men have for Autumn. Steamy pages abound! I received an advanced copy and voluntarily chose to review it.

Imagine if you were that ONE woman bid on by three men at an auction for charity. The bidding goes higher and higher—until…..suddenly, you are won by all three good-looking men for a large amount of money. What do the three men get in return? One date. Together. Let the good times begin! And that's only the beginning! It gets even better from here on out!
This story is so worth the time spent reading it. The characters are so entertaining and authentic that they flow together like they were meant to be. The storyline is different from your normal RH; it's better somehow. Part of that, I think, is because of the character interaction, but the rest is because the storyline is so strong. I'm gushing. I don't mean to be, at least not intentionally, but I really liked THE AUCTION. It was one of the better books I have read in a while.
It is worth your time. Get it! Enjoy it!

When our heroine participates in a charity auction, she does not expect to have three winning bidders! And after a very fun evening with all three, they go their separate ways. But when our heroine finds trouble at home, she gets unexpected help from our heroes. Turns out they might just be interested in a more lasting arrangement.

This is another steamy reverse harem story from our author, something that she has proven she knows how to write well. The story is well written with a nice combination of action and steam. The characters are well developed, with each of the men having a distinct personality and style. And once things take a turn for the carnal, the reader is treated to a variety of styles and approaches there as well. Overall, it was a fun and sexy read. Overall, this was another great story and I look forward to seeing our author's next creation.

Absolutely loved this 😍

I love Krista Wolf’s reverse harem books.

The characters are always incredibly well written & very relatable.

There was no exception with this one too.

Autumn is an incredibly strong and stubborn woman who has no family apart from her one good friend. When that friend signs her up for an auction, she ends up with 3 guys who she spends an incredible night with.

Afterwards she has to go back to New York to work on the winery she inherited but ends up coming face to face with cousins she never knew existed.

Calling out to the 3 men she had that night with, they all show up to help her & the sexy times begin 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

The connection between the four of them is instantaneous & so hot. The fact that the guys all fall HEA dover heels for her & decide they want to stay makes it even better.

Again, this was another sexy story with real characters.

Was worth every cent and more. HEA and all that.

I loved everything about this. I love a sassy confident FMC and I loved the guys. Christian was my fav tho. I almost wish it was longer and more to the future where they all went to the families well except for Christians and Her cause they didn't have any. But I seriously loved it. I love when the FMC or even the men just go with it no care in the world. I did however feel like Darius and Shane read a little immature for military guys. Them trying to stay with her with put in using Christian like the 1st time and I was glad Christian put them in their ace too.. I knew from the start that Christian was wanting to stay there since he 1st got there and his explanation too. I'm glad the cousins came to terms with each other and actually are good to each other now. I wish we had more of them together running the place and being a family. But I love the HEA.

Why Choose / Found Family / HEA

Autumn agrees to help her friend raise money for her animal shelter by agreeing to be auctioned off for a date. She’s the last one to be auctioned and no one is bidding. She takes the mic from the auctioneer and basically shames the audience for their lack of charity. Then three different men start a bidding war but are stopped when they reach $5000. There is a bidding limit because it’s for charity. The three men decide to all bid $5000 each so they can all go out with her. Christian is a lawyer, Darius & Shane are ex-military running their own construction company. They have an amazing date but Autumn is flying home to New York the next day so they say goodbye. These guys … omg … so sweet, so caring and so hot. When Autumn calls them with a report that there is trouble, they all fly out to help her.

The story was good, especially if you are looking for a quick, insta-love read, but I just felt like the relationship went from zero to 60 in nothing flat. It didn't feel very organic, just rushed. I wish a little more time would have been spent on building the bonds amongst them all, especially with Christian. He is definitely an alpha male type and to readily share a woman with two strangers, especially two other alpha-males, is really kind of a stretch. Again the plot was good and the book really had the potential to be a 5-star rating if only the characters didn't wake up after being together for maybe three weeks or a month (at most) and profess their love and devotion. And not only to this woman they just met, but to the whole polygamous relationship, hardships and psycho relatives be damned... not to mention moving clear across the country, leaving behind successful businesses and partnerships. Just hard to wrap my head around it.

This book has spice and a property dispute and found family and protective alpha males (yes, plural!).

Our FMC Autumn is alone in the world, except for her best friend who lives across the country. She’s strong, outspoken, and insatiable.

Our MMCs Christian, Shane, and Darius are sweet, protective, and head-over-heels for Autumn… even though they have to share her. Their skillsets (lawyer and handymen) are perfect for the storyline.

Overall, this was a spicy, fun read with some danger and drama.

QUICK THOUGHTS 💭

🍷 The MMCs are all alpha male, “mine,” touch her and ☠️, protective MEN. 🥵 They were all so different, yet they all get along so perfectly together.
🍷 Give me a why choose book any day.

Making sweet wine and romance

The Auction is another great RH romance by Krista Wolf. If you love RH then this author delivers in spades with her books. This story is about an auction for a date and instead of one Autumn ends up with three, as there it is a three way win. So she agrees to one date between them all, Christian, Darius and Shane. But there can be no future for them as she lives in Long Island and they are on the West Coast. There one night together was wonderful, so much so that she ends up calling them for help when she returns home to find two men, her cousins, in her house, the one she inherited with the winery that she is going to start again. The three men rush to her aid and then some, with some smoking hot RH fun and passion along the way.

I love this book.
It made me feel like free love hippie from the 60s.
This girl was like the energizer bunny when it came to sex, and I have mad respect for it.
This book just makes you feel free like it was all just about love and sex and leaning into that without any bullshit around it. it was just beautiful, the author didn’t need to have all kinds of drama and all kinds of other stuff. There was no need for multiple break ups and make ups.
It was just fully leaning into people lusting and loving each other. And for one to be so free that way, and I was just able to enjoy it.
I would definitely recommend this book if you want some thing stress-free and nice and enjoyable to read.

This book is HOT! A visit to a friend in California will land Autumn in a charity auction to help her best friend’s animal rescue. She will be won by not one by three men - Christian, Shane and Darius. Their group date will start them on a path that will take them all the way across the country - to New York. There they will get to know each other while also helping Autumn deal with some trouble she’s having at her vineyard. I love the way the guys stand up for her and protect her. It’s quite a bumpy ride but it all works out in the end and they all end up staying in New York to start a new life - with all four of them together.

Autumn is visiting her friend in California and is participating in her fundraiser auction for her business. Autumn is being auctioned off for a blind date date. One thing she did not bargain for is her sassy self drawing the attention of three gentleman and a max bid by all. This is going to be an interesting date, she only has one day left before returning home to New York. First impressions make lasting ones in this story as what was supposed to be a blind date flips and twists itself into a HEA. Enjoy, I purchased the book for my library as well.

Krista never disappoints when it comes to why choose.
The perfect mix of connection, suspense, redemption and the steamiest moments possible are what make each story perfect.
Two best friends, and a stranger bid on Autumn who has put herself up for auction at her best friends fundraiser.
From there, family is built, friendships established, and enduring bonds of love are formed.
These words fly off the pages with so much connection and emotion, I can’t get enough. Yet, the book also ends perfectly.

Autumn is visiting a friend and agrees to participate in a date auction to benefit a friends animal rescue shelter. Christian, Darius and Shane end up in a three way tie and because she leaves soon they have to share the date. Things get steamy but then she has to head home and leaves the guys behind. When she returns to the upstate NY winery she just inherited, there is trouble brewing and she leans on her new acquaintance's for help. The guys show up in force and help with the trouble that has found her. This book has a decent plot, with some action and of course plenty of steam.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Autumn, Christian, Shane and Darius.. She's getting auctioned off for the charity her friend runs. Instead of being won by just one guy, three gorgeous men have the pleasure of winning her company. They enjoy each other and find that they want more time together. But she's headed back to Long Island where she is trying to get her uncle's winery back on track. Unfortunately her twin cousins give her a headache but trying to kick her out. Needing help she contacts the guys for their help.
