What is up with Yuma and his family? What is he talking to when he tells these stories? What is up with that HORSE? Again, I'm hooked more on the mystery with the narrator more than the ghost stories themselves. (I think it must be really hard to come up with literally 100 little ghost stories so props to this artist.)

This collection felt a little more gross than the others. 'Smothered in Dust' was just nasty; could you imagine constantly cleaning up what turns out to be rotting corpse cooties? I saw the twist for 'Boastful Old Woman' coming from a mile away, but it was entertaining. 'Scrounging for Coins' was just so, so sad (especially when those snacks were left out after the poor kid presumably starved to death). 'Rest in Peace' would be interesting to dissect with a friend; I think it felt sad because it was a child's ghost, but imagine if it was anyone older... the parents were doing the right thing by having his spirit exorcised.

Again, I'm going into the next volume because I have to know what happens with Yuma. 3/5

Felt like the stories themselves weren’t as strong as in the other volumes overall, but the in-between story is super interesting and creepy and i can’t wait for vol 4

Une série d'anthologie manga à Tales of the crypt avec une mythologie horrifique à la Junji Ito qui, pour moi, n'arrive pas au même niveau d'investissement que les oeuvres de Ito. Les histoires sont trop courtes pour susciter une réelle émotion ou attachement. On est plus dans l'ordre de l'anecdote malaisante. Un enfant raconte des creepy pastas asiatiques tout en parlant d'école et de sa vie de tous les jours. Je ne suis pas certaine de la combinaison, qui, pour moi, ne fonctionne pas bien; les parties narratives avec l'enfant viennent briser l'angoisse ou l'étonnement que devraient susciter ces micro-histoires.

Historias tan escalofriantes como las anteriores y que siempre me sorprenden con el final. Me gusta mucho esta serie y siempre espero con ansias el siguiente volumen.
