Sadie Mills is a writer of dark romantic comedy. She lives in Devon, England with her Maine Coon cat.
Sadie has worked in the legal profession for over fifteen years. She has also worked as a canine beautician and wedding chauffeur, as well as living in a restaurant for over two decades.
In her spare time, Sadie enjoys scuba, travelling in the Middle East, and skydiving. She doesn’t get much spare time, admittedly. Which is probably just as well.
Sadie is currently available for weddings and bar mitzvahs.

I downloaded this book in search of a short read, this is what I got. I finished this in one sitting, it captured me and I didn't want to put it down.
It begins at the sky dive centre and chops and changes between before the dive on the ground and in the plane waiting to jump. Although it is a very short story the characters are developed well and you can begin to form an opinion on them.
The story is predictable but light hearted fun and defiantly worth a read, I am looking forward to reading the sequel.
A great story of getting out of a funk and living again. When she is dumped by her boyfriend, she feels numb. Wanting to feel again she signs up for a skydive. Watch as she gets back in touch with her feelings and snags a new man into the bargain. Obviously the writer has done some jumps as this comes across in the way you relive it through the writing.
“Parachutes & Peppermints” is a nice little story (52 pages) about skydiving, old boyfriends, chocolate and romance. There's not much more to it than that as Lucy gets her self confidence back after moping for months over her ex-boyfriend, Phil. Her skydiving instructor is the devastatingly handsome Joshua … need I say more? 3 Stars.

My review:
I enjoyed this story. The only thing bothering me is that it is in a series. I have never been a big fan of series, because by the time the next book arrives you have forgotten the plot. Well, to each his own I suppose.
