La parte che spiega TestNG non dice molto di più della documentazione on - line.
Quello che da valore al libro sono i design pattern per i test, applicabili sia a TestNG che a Junit.

old book

Is old book with old references, has great concepts but is not encouraged to follow as is since there are more mature frameworks nowadays

I liked the approaches to testing that were covered.
Everything from the basics of assertions, through mocks, on up to in container j2ee and beyond.
I recommend this book to all of my QAs even when we are using Junit.
I go so far as to buy them a copy and place it on their desk.

I really like the part of "enterprise testing". It talks about the approach of testing a component. It's practical and helpful to my current project.
