About the author

Horses and ponies have always fascinated me. At least since I was old enough to walk. I began drawing them as soon as I could hold a crayon. Today, I enjoy not only creating new characters, but also helping children expand their imaginations through art and storytelling.

I created my “Ali” character during my junior year in high school.
My youngest brother's imagination was the spark for my "Mika" character in Ali's Big Adventure.

I’m a wife, a mom, an artist, a model horse collector, an amateur astronomer, author.

This was such a cute colourful book, absolutely adorable for children! However surprisingly I really enjoyed it too. There’s a little lesson in every good book I believe and there’s one in this too, of kindness and love and friendship. If you have children you should certainly read it to them!

This is a fabulous, energetic book. The idea of a puffball bouncing away from home is so unusual and I loved the part where Ali nearly bounced away from his saviours. This book provides great scope for a variety of discussions with young children.

"Ali's Big Adventure" written and illustrated by the author Roxie Fiste is an interesting Children's book. The main character of the story is a puffball named Ali. One day, Ali bounced while trying to catch a dragonfly and he landed at an unknown place.

There, he met Mika who assured Ali that she would help him to reach his home. As they started their journey towards Ali's home, they met a pony named Scout who joined Mika to help Ali reach home safely.

Get your hands on this book to know will Mika and Scout be successful in their mission. This book teaches about friendship and kindness to the little readers. The language used in the book is lucid. The cover photo is nice. It is an adventurous read. Ali's character is immediately likable.

I am looking forward to reading more books by the author.

Heartwarming Tale of Friendship

Author Roxie Fiste has created a charming and endearing tale of friendship, kindness and caring for others. Parents and kids alike will enjoy the story of Ali the puffball and his BIG bounce. Roxie also illustrated the book with creative ideas about Ali's journey. Her depiction of Scout the horse is especially adorable. I highly recommend this picture book of children's fantasy. Mika is a great role model for kids learning how to interest with others. This book is guaranteed to make you smile!
