Paige is confident, artistic, and has a habit of rolling her eyes when she shouldn’t. Including in meetings with a handsome CEO.

Rhys didn’t want to take over for his father, but he didn’t really have a choice in the matter. When Paige shows up in paint-stained clothes, things start to change for him and the company. Fireworks radiate around them, and as they spend more time together, they realize you can’t always judge a book by its cover.

I was so happy when I got this ARC and I honestly couldn’t put it down.

The chemistry between the two characters, the banter, the humour and just everything was perfect 🤩

I was actually sad that this was the first time that I heard of this series.

If you love a billionaire, he falls first romance - this one was for you.

ALSO, a big yes for me was the fact that the main character (Paige) actually planned to go back to her apartment because she has a cat. We love it 🥰

Thank you Caitlin Klassen for the ARC!

Rating- 3.5 stars.

Trigger or content warnings? Yes, included in book under the Author’s Note.

Details?
The FMC’s name is Paige. The MMC’s name is Rhys. Neither of their ages are mentioned but I assumed that they are both in their late twenties to early thirties.
No OM drama. Minor OW drama.
MMC was a playboy. Neither the FMC or the MMC are each others usual “type”.
No third act break up.

My thoughts?
This was a light read that was heavy on the transformation of Rhys. He went from a shallow playboy to someone deeply in love by the end of the book. It was heartwarming to see him open up and trust people.

This next bit is purely based off of the fact that I was diagnosed with ADHD. I had a harder time connecting to Paige. Which is odd because she has ADHD too, but I found we have different types. It isn’t one type fits all. She would throw barbs at Rhys for the privileged lifestyle he leads, and then when he would match her energy she would balk. It happened a couple times and I found my irritation rising because there is no excuse for being repeatedly rude. She sat there while Rhys was being hit on towards the end of the book, and my jaw dropped. You mean that you can throw barbs at Rhys multiple times, cut him off for an entire week when he said something rude (fair enough, that one was uncalled for) but you can’t proudly be Rhys girlfriend?? Where did unfiltered Paige go??

Anywho, I did finish this book quite quickly. It was a breezy read for me, and didn’t stir up to much angst. My heart does go out to Rhys though. He may have been raised with money but he wasn’t raised with love. Paige was surrounded with love. Their nicknames for each other were so sweet, and a few of them had me snorting.

With each passing book in The Foundation Series, I get sadder and sadder that it’s almost over- because I love it so much!! Change Me Up is the third book in the series, and it is Paige and Rhys’s story. I absolutely loved the lessons of loving people for who they are, never letting anyone dull your sparkle, and learning not to judge someone before you really get to know them that these two experience throughout this book.
Paige is a sassy, artist/interior designer for ElmWoods Designs and Contracting. She is never afraid to tell it like it is and be uniquely herself (punny shirts and all). Currently their company is renovating/decorating the office building of Berke Enterprises. Due to his father’s passing, Rhys has been named the temporary CEO. According to this contract, he has six months to work in the position and then decide what he wants to do with the company.
Rhys doesn’t really want the job, but he DOES want to continue to spend time with Paige. He is obsessed with her constant eye rolling, and loves/needs to hear her tell him like it is… no one ever put him in his place like her! Not only that, but Rhys has never felt truly seen until he met Paige- and it’s not a feeling he’s willing to let go.
The problem is… they are from completely different worlds, and Paige isn’t so sure she fits into his lifestyle. I highly suggest reading this book to see what happens between Paige and Rhys- you won’t be disappointed!!

Change Me Up is the third story in the Foundation series by @authorcaitlinklassen, but it can be read as a standalone novel. Set in Nashville, this is the story of interior designer Paige, and billionaire businessman Rhys.

FMC Paige is an absolute spitfire, with a sassy mouth and no filter, unable to even control the eye rolls that come so naturally. Paige is from Italian/Japanese descent, and comes from a very loving, tight knit family. Paige has ADHD, and it’s represented very well. Love her impulsiveness, creativity energy and spark!

MMC Rhys comes from privilege, inheriting billions and the position of CEO following his father’s passing. While he grew up rich, having everything given to him on a silver platter, he never received love or support from his father. His upbringing has given him severe anxiety, and feeling resentful he has to take over the business. Until he meets Paige…

Paige is unlike anyone Rhys has ever met. She challenges him and calls him on his bullshit. Rhys soon finds he wants to change up the business for the better, making it his own, and stepping out of his father’s shadow. The added benefit, more time with Paige!

Their attraction is undeniable, and they’re so good for each other. After years of living the billionaire playboy lifestyle, Rhys has finally found someone he connects with on a deeper level. Paige is also at a point in her life where she’s open to a relationship and wanting someone to call home. Perfect timing. Their romance is a slow burn and very playful while they get to know each other. The man even learns Italian for her, and gives her his cowboy hat (we all know what that means). Once they finally get together, it’s nice and spicy!

The supporting characters in this novel are well written as well. Love Paige’s Italian nonna (who’s equally as enamoured with Rhys), and Rhys’s grieving mother.

The Change Up was a sweet and spicy novel and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

💛 Billionaire Romance
💛 Workplace Romance
💛 He Falls First
💛 Found Family
💛 ADHD/Anxiety Rep

I loved reading Rhys and Paige’s story especially with all the cute nicknames they gave each other! As someone with both anxiety and adhd, I resonated with both characters. Enjoyed how Paige felt so comfortable to be herself and also how Rhys never made her feel like she had to dull her sparkle. Rhys went from carefree playboy to having to take over his family business because after the passing of his father. Watching him grow and seeing Paige help along the way warmed my heart because it wasn’t something he was use to. The found family was one of my favorite parts of this book as well, you definitely can feel the love from all of them and how welcoming they were to Rhys. I felt Paige and Rhys were made for each other especially with how they balanced the other out, they had me giggling and falling in love right along side them!

If you love cheesy nicknames, where he falls first, cooking with your favorite Italian grandma, found family and a hot billionaire then this one is for you!

Change Me Up is a short and sweet romance with just the right amount of spice to keep things interesting—I couldn’t put it down and finished it in a day! The characters were well-developed, and the storyline was engaging from start to finish. I also loved all the puns and corny jokes, which added a fun and playful touch. I’m excited to read more and explore the storylines of the other characters in this world!

Thank you to the author, Caitlin Klassen for allowing me to read this ARC.

Ok, this book got me in the feels people. Towards the last quarter of the book I was rapid blinking so hard in an attempt not to cry at how things were wrapping up, it took extra time to finish it. Sap me is out in full force today and I’m not ashamed!

Rhys and Paige gush time, this relationship that Caitlin developed for them was so fricken SWEET and I need more of them forever!

Rhys comes from money but his upbringing has him feeling hollow, that and trying to come to terms with the loss of a parent and the unstable reaction of the one that lived…left him in a state of limbo. Enter Paige, our free spirited artist and no filter FMC, she flurries into Rhys’ life and it’s end game from there.

Rhys becomes more confident in himself and quickly realizes what he wants to do, stepping from the shadow of his father’s legacy…creating one of his own for the better of his employees and the community.

They are so cute together, I could go on for hours but I’m stopping here.

Book comes out November 14th, add it to your TBR now and order it then!

I was honored to be chosen to be on the ARC team.

This was a cute book! I enjoyed the slower pace, as it felt more like a slow burn to me with lots of character building- which I love. Even the supporting characters were well developed. The storyline flowed well and was easy to follow.

I love the personality differences between Rhys and Paige and the way they helped each other evolve- in a healthy way. I really appreciate the neurodivergent representation. Huge bonus points for a dual point of view as well. You weren’t left wondering what page each character was on. I felt like the story was predictable -but in a good way. I like the comfort of knowing the characters are going to be together at the end. The spice level was minimal- and somewhat scattered throughout.

Thank you to the author, Caitlin Klassen, for my ARC copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

GUYSSSSSS this book is so much fun! I read Build Me Up earlier this year and really enjoyed it so I was so excited to be chosen as a member of the ARC team for Change Me Up. What I didn’t expect is how different this book is from Build Me Up. Where Build Me Up dealt with a lot of heavy topics like trauma and childhood abuse, this book really showcased the more fun and romantic side of Caitlin’s writing which was such a blast to read! Yes this book has conflict, but the conflict was less heart wrenching than her previous books and was a refreshing spin that showcased how excellent of a storyteller Caitlin is.

One thing that remains consistent throughout her books though, Caitlin really has a talent for creating characters you can’t help but root for! Rhys and Paige are so perfect and pair so well together I could read a hundred more books about them!

Change Me Up reads to me like summer and sunshine in a book and is the perfect weekend read if you want to get immediately sucked into a story with compelling characters and a great story! This book is available now so make sure to check it out!

It is a book that I enjoyed reading. Paige and Rhys just had a connection that had me hooked. They were totally different characters, but they just matched perfectly. He was a serious and business like, while Paige was a fun, quirky interior designer who brought out his fun side. The relationship between them was full of fun, spice, and banter that I absolutely loved.

Thank you to Caitlin for the eARC.

This was a fun, flirty book! I had read Caitlin’s previous book and while I enjoyed it quite a lot, it did deal with heavier topics. This one however, was the complete opposite. Paige and Rhys were fun, flirty and naughty. I loved how Paige brought colour and a reality check into the CEO’s life, and how Rhys saw and loved Paige for who and how she was - all her chaotic and quirky self.

Paige was relatable, with her ADHD and I appreciated how Rhys never wanted her to “dim her spark”.

Loved all the funny nicknames and puns - the banter between the characters was great!

Once again, Caitlin does a great job with the found family trope - from how the crew embraced Rhys, to how they were always ready to help, guide and support Paige.

And of course, NONNA!! She was a great character!!

Can’t wait for the next book inveje series!

Wow, wow, wow!!!
the chemistry between Paige and Rhys was something else!!
They’re total opposites—Rhys is all business, serious and driven, while Paige is this quirky, fun-loving interior designer—but it just works.
Their connection felt so natural, like two puzzle pieces that didn’t quite match at first but fit perfectly when put together. Paige’s playful energy really brought out a lighter, more spontaneous side of Rhys, balancing out his intense personality. Their banter and easygoing dynamic made their relationship a joy to read, with just the right mix of humor and spice that kept me hooked.

The Foundation Series keeps getting better and better!

Thank you so much to Caitlin for giving me the opportunity to be an ARC reader!🥰

This was a low-conflict, easy read that will make your heart feel good.

I enjoyed Paige's story, and the connection she had with her family is something that you don't really get to see in books anymore.

Rhys was a great character too, I loved how obsessed he was with Paige from the very start.

I could have used more conflict (never thought I'd be asking for a third act breakup!), but it was actually nice getting to just enjoy a couple getting together and learning each other.

Overall: I'd recommend if you'd like an easy love story with minimal conflict

Caitlin Klassen writes some amazing small town romance! Paige is such a sparky and fun girl who I connect with in so many ways! Rhys is the definition of a sour patch kid! He is so sour on the outside but on the inside he is so sweet! The story of how they came together and getting to witness the other characters stories in between was amazing to witness!

“𝓗𝓪𝓹𝓹𝓲𝓷𝓮𝓼𝓼 𝓭𝓸𝓮𝓼𝓷’𝓽 𝓵𝓲𝓿𝓮 𝓲𝓷 𝓫𝓲𝓰𝓰𝓮𝓻 𝓱𝓸𝓾𝓼𝓮𝓼.”

"𝙷𝚘𝚕𝚢 𝙳𝚘𝚗𝚔𝚎𝚢𝚜”, I am actually so mad at myself for waiting so long to read this one. I do believe books find you when you’re ready but WOW. Paige is me. I am Paige. If “accidentally saying the quiet part out loud and then doubling down” was a sport, we’d both be Olympic gold medalists.

Friggen Rhys? Sir, respectfully, how dare you? Who gave you the right to be emotionally repressed and emotionally available? This man went from boardroom to heart-throb real quick, and I, for one, was not prepared. The romance in this was HOT HOT HOT and billionaire romances might be my new addiction because THIS ECONOMY IS TRASH. I didn't just swoon, I slid down a wall dramatically.

Caitlin Klassen continues to be the literary equivalent of a warm blanket fresh out of the dryer. Her characters are the best kind of messy, her dialogue sparkles, and the found family vibes? *chef’s kiss*. This series has made me laugh, cry, and seriously consider showing up uninvited to a random friend group’s brunch just to see if I, too, can be adopted into a circle of lovable hot messes. Plot twist, I did, that’s my CCOTS girls.

Final verdict: If Klassen doesn’t have her keyboard insured, she should. Because this series is a national treasure, and I will be utterly feral waiting until I get my greasy little paws on the next one.

A slow burn with a cracking end. This book was wonderful and heart warming. I loved the banter and the endless nicknames, they all made me chuckle.

Rhys had everything, but the love of his father. Spending time with Paige really shows him how much of a ‘normal’ life he didn’t have. He had money, privilege, and high expectation over love, family and friendship. I always say money doesn’t make people happy, it only makes life easy. And I like how Rhys came to that conclusion too.

Paige is a ball of sunshine covered in puns. He’s happy go lucky and surrounded by love, family and friends. Everything Rhys didn’t have. I love how Paige and her friends and family took him in and included him and fell in love with him too, making him part of the gang.

Their love blossoming was so lovely to read. I loved the epilogues too, a beautiful end.

“I’m choosing to chase you, to be here with you, because you deserve to have someone to hold your hand through life.”

Another day, another Caitlin Klassen read. No seriously, 4 days and 4 books. And I have loved them all. This entire series is so beautifully written.

Paige, the FMC, is an absolute firecracker. Her ADHD mind and wild spirit is so addicting. You never know what to expect next. Rhys, the MMC, deserved someone to make him feel seen. I love how Paige rubs off on Rhys and brings out his own quirkiness.

Their relationship is so sweet. From the witty banter to the heartwarming moments, I couldn’t stop smiling over these two. Their relationships with their family/friends is so endearing. I mean, even Nonna is obsessed.

And the ending???? I cannot. The sweetest thing ever.

🌶️🌶️

This reminded me that I absolutely love a rich MMC, especially when he’s humbled by his FMC. Paige was the perfect humbler for Rhys.

Rhys’ mental health and grief was a difficult journey to travel, but I adored it all the same. Paige was the ideal partner to sit alongside him, though she’s crackers, she’s got an enormous heart.

There’s endless nicknames and they’re different to normal, because this pair are crackers.

While we’re here, the tennis court?! Yummy 🌶️

I'm so glad I had this one waiting for me. As soon as I started this one, I devoured it. It's my new favourite in the series. I adored both main characters and their weirdo banter and nicknames.

It was such a sweet and easy read! Also, SPOILER*******************

I loved being back in Nashville with the From The Ground Up crew. I had read Whitney’s story (Build Me Up), and now it was Paige’s turn, and I couldn’t wait to read her story.

Paige Russo is an interior designer, sassy with no filter, queen of the eye roll, has ADHD, is impulsive, comes from a supportive and loving family, and has the best friends in the world.

Rhys Berke comes from money, is privileged, inherited the CEO position at his late father’s company, has severe anxiety, his father never showed him love and never supported him, and has fake friends who only use him for what he can get them.

Page and Rhys come from totally opposite sides of the world, but they have an instant attraction. Rhys admires Paige’s bluntness and how outspoken she is. He also finally feels seen for who he is, by Paige. The banter between Rhys and Paige was great, the flirting and all the nicknames. I found myself laughing out loud so many times in this book. Paige darlin’ you rock. I loved this book, I felt connected to Paige with her quirky sayings and how she doesn’t have a filter. There are times I don’t have a filter, and find myself blurting out at the wrong time. I also sympathized with Rhys when it came to his anxiety. It was so sweet to see how Paige was his calm. The relationship these two have is beautiful, from a working relationship to friends, and to more. My new favorite trope is the No 3rd Act Breakup and although there was a little yikes moment, I enjoyed that they talked it through.

This book did have it's gripping my heart moments. I felt for Rhys. His upbringing was cold and isolated, I’m glad he had his mom and Maria but what he wanted he never had - his father. And even in the end, his father chose his work over his family. When he was telling Paige about his favorite moment with his father, that broke me. We can talk about it when you get there.

This group of found family is amazing. I was so glad to see the other characters again. My new favorite supportive character: Nonna. “Paige, leave room for Jesus.” She was awesome, she googled Rhys and knew how hot he was. Oh, Nonna. She was Paige’s most important person and the fact that she loved Rhys from the beginning and took him under her wing was wonderful.
Caitlin, you did it again, a beautiful story. I feel like these people are my friends and I miss them the minute I read the last page. I need to read Ellie and Scott’s book and Bree and Grant’s to be all caught up with The Foundation Series. Please do yourselves a favor and read these books, you will not regret it.

🎨Change Me Up ARC review🎨
Late to this series, but boy did it have me hooked and adding the first 2 to my TBR and impatiently waiting book 4!
Our MCs are complete opposites; CEO meets artist. Rhys, the CEO with anxiety and sadly, didn’t have his father growing up. So it’s taken a toll on his mental health. Paige (my girl 🤞), the interior designer with ADHD who is chaotic but lovely. She is Rhys’s calm and it made me love them both so so much!
These characters character growth and their emotional development was another reason I fell in love with these 2. Their nicknames for each other were the cutest and made me smile so big 😆 oh, and I almost forgot about the paint fight!
I’m so excited to see what the next book in the series has in store for us. Caitlin’s writing will have you up until the wee hours of the morning finishing her books! Highly recommend 🫶

Caitlin Klassen’s Change Me Up is a captivating blend of romance and self-discovery, masterfully weaving a story that keeps you hooked from start to finish. The book follows two flawed yet endearing characters navigating their past traumas and fears while finding solace in each other. With heartfelt dialogue, emotional depth, and moments of undeniable chemistry, Klassen crafts a world where healing and vulnerability lead to something extraordinary.

From the very beginning, I found myself falling for both main characters. Their journeys felt raw and genuine, and it was impossible not to root for them as individuals and as a couple. Their personalities complemented each other in such a compelling way that it felt like witnessing a perfect puzzle coming together.

What truly sets Change Me Up apart is its pacing and emotional tension. I couldn’t put it down—I needed to see how their story unfolded. Every chapter brought new twists, tender moments, and a deeper understanding of how they were meant to be together. Their love story wasn’t just romantic; it was transformative.

If you’re a fan of emotionally charged romances with characters who stay with you long after the last page, Change Me Up is a must-read. This book not only made me believe in second chances but also reminded me of the beauty in imperfect people finding perfect love.

The Foundation Series continues with its third installment, which can be enjoyed as a standalone, though reading the books in order provides a richer experience of character development. Each book features a different couple and a guaranteed HEA, and this one is no exception. While the main focus is on Paige and Rhys, familiar faces from earlier books make appearances, adding a nice sense of continuity.

Paige and Rhys are an unlikely pairing, and their dynamic makes for an engaging read. Paige is a free spirit—artistic, unapologetically honest, and often quick with a sarcastic remark. She’s the kind of friend everyone wishes they had: supportive, loyal, and always ready to speak her mind. In contrast, Rhys is reserved, shaped by a cold upbringing under the thumb of a workaholic father and a mother who offered little emotional warmth. He’s lonely, adrift, and unsure of what direction his life should take, especially after his father's passing.

As per his father's will, Rhys is required to take over the family business as CEO for at least six months. Enter Paige, hired as the interior designer to renovate his office by Rhys’s mother. From the moment they meet, Rhys is intrigued by Paige—she’s the first person to ever speak to him with such candidness, something that both shocks and fascinates him.

Their relationship begins as a slow-burn romance, built on their contrasting backgrounds—Paige grew up without money, while Rhys had it all. This difference creates some initial tension between them, particularly when they clash over their vastly different upbringings. However, as they spend more time together, their friendship gradually evolves into something deeper. This book has a genuine, thoughtful progression of two people learning to trust each other and overcome their personal barriers. It was refreshing to see their relationship grow naturally from friends to lovers, without unnecessary conflicts or drama.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and the development of both characters. Paige and Rhys’ journey was heartfelt, and I’m excited to continue with the series. If you enjoy slow-burn romances with well-drawn characters and emotional depth, The Foundation Series is definitely worth picking up.

Change Me Up by Caitlin Klassen is the perfect blend of sass, heart, and heat! Paige is a whirlwind of creativity and attitude, with her unfiltered mouth and endearing eye rolls, while Rhys, the buttoned-up billionaire CEO, finds himself completely captivated. Their chemistry is undeniable, and the way Paige brings light and life into Rhys’s structured world is heartwarming.

I loved how Paige’s ADHD was portrayed—it felt authentic and added so much depth to her impulsive, vibrant personality. Rhys’s journey of stepping out from his father’s shadow and embracing change, both in his company and his personal life, was so satisfying to watch unfold.

From playful slow-burn moments to sizzling spice, Paige and Rhys’s romance is perfectly timed and so much fun. Bonus points for Rhys learning Italian for Paige—swoon! With memorable side characters, like Paige’s hilarious nonna and Rhys’s complex mother, this Nashville-set story has charm, family, and love in all the right doses.

A sweet and spicy read I didn’t want to put down!
