NIKOLAIIIIIIII VOLKAVVVVVVVVVVV >>>>>>>>>>> no fucking notes. I’m so gone for this quiet, unhinged, YEARNINNGGGGGGG Russian mafia man it’s not even funny. HIM AND TATIANNA OWN MY SOULLL!! Best book in the series so far, I truly don’t see how they can be beat. The emotions this book made me feel???? The longing, the pining, the love, the heartache!!! No I can’t.
This is why second chance romance will forever and always be one of my favorite tropes. Guys the amount of tears I shed over them was not okay. When I found out why they broke up…. I was done for. Gutted. Heart ripped out and stomped all over!!! So thank god for the comedic relief because I NEEDED IT!! But seriously I still can’t get over how funny these characters are and just the sibling dynamics are so funnny, I want to be a part of their family!! It’s not fair. Also even more crumbs of Luk and his stalker!!!!! Not him getting all giddy and excited about the fact that she broke into his room and watched him sleep for 3 hours!! I NEED THEIR BOOK NOW!!
I was also so obsessed with Tatianna which is no surprise seeing ass I’m obsessed with all the blood thirsty, bad ass women in this series. I loved how she always embraced her feminine while simultaneously not thinking twice about chopping of a guys man parts for trying to take advantage of her…. Like as she should.

The way he literally bought her $5000 shoes in every single color because he wanted to make sure she had the ones she wanted…. No yeah. As he should. The man’s complete and utter devotion to her. The way he worships every fiber of her being. Like she literally is his reason for breathing. He’s also just so fine it should be illegal. The spice…… the words that come out of his mouth. No. Send help. The way he called her “love” I’m gonna be sick.
AND THE PLOT JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER AND BETTER WITH EACH BOOK!!! Like huhhhh?!! How does she do it?? The way the ending has me almost biting off my finger nails I wasn’t so anxious!! Oh I just cannot wait for daddy Dimitri’s book!!!!
Anyways Nikolai and Tati are permanently etched in my brain forever.

I was so ready to give up on this series had this book not worked out for me. But I knew I could count on Nikolai 😭😭 Yes, he's the only reason I'm reading this series atp and his book delivered 🤌 Well, as best as it could.
Though I must admit, I wasn't interested in the mafia plot and action as much as the main characters and their romance. It was dark and for once I actually liked a second chance trope? That bit surprised me too. The chemistry between Nikolai and Tatiana is so amazing. They have depth, history and an actual emotional connection instead of whatever tf was going on in the previous two books in the series.
Nikolai is such a husband material. Yes he made mistakes but he takes responsibility and accountability. He's not just a possessive mafia brute. Sure, he's broody and aloof but he makes it look so sexy. And good Lord, the mouth on this man 😩🫦 The way he grovels is worth reading. Like I would fold instantly. The man talks and it alters my brain chemistry.
Tatiana is his perfect half. She's so far the only fmc in this series I genuinely liked. She's fierce, went through hell and her struggles are something that even though not all women will relate but every one will sympathize with and support her. I totally understand why she distanced herself and didn't find her antics childish or petty. Like pop off, queen. She desereved the world.
The spice was chef's kiss 🤌 The ending was pretty good and close to perfection for me. Though I kinda wish the book/series will tone down on the pop culture references. They can be a bit much at times. Unfortunately for me, now I'm sucked back into this Bratva world and will have to continue with the rest of series. All because of Nikolai.

NIKO IS SUCH A LOSER. I don’t care if he “loves her” or whatever.. he failed her in the worst possible way and this book acts like it’s cute to give him a second chance. How about the fuck not?
That betrayal and baby shit RUINED EVERYTHING. if I hadn’t already read this far, I would’ve DNF’d. And the only reason i did finish was because of pure rage reading.
I'm gonna be honest I skipped EVERY NikoTatiana intimate scene. Didn't care about their "love" or sex or whatever. It was all so fake in my eyes.
The author clearly wanted us to empathize with Niko so deeply that we would forgive what he did. Like instead of trusting Tatiana the woman he supposedly "loves" who he’s been with for a year he instantly believes the guy whos lying about her cheating with him.
And he doesn’t even give her a chance to explain. He abandons her during pregnancy and the loss of their child. Which he refused to acknowledge it was his.
And the “reason” we’re fed for why he behaved this way is… he’s traumatized because another woman once lied to him about a baby.
Because obviously the only logical explanation for his betrayal is that some other woman hurt him once. Yeah that makes everything totally okay. Like sorry but no. That only makes his betrayal all about his past hurt. Instead of condemning his actions, the narrative is saying see? He’s not really a monster. He’s just wounded. Feel sorry for him.
Like fuck that shit. I'm out.

Find yourself a “best friend” that will make, you losing your unborn child and having had to give birth to it alone because your bf ghosted you, about her 🤩 That book really made me hate Illayana.
I still liked the story ! I liked Nikolai and Tatiana, there was so much going on, that’s what got me going ! Just one thing, i don’t know what’s the deal with this author and kidnappings but everyone and their mother (father if we wanna be literal) has been kidnapped at least once, if not more lmaoo
But this time I’m afraid I didn’t like the story enough for the writing to not bother me (and yet I can’t stop reading those books, make it make sense…).
PS: everything i didn’t like about the writing is in my review of the first book
ABOUT THAT i really need to say something. I’m so curious, with all the editing books go through, did they check the Spanish dialogues ?? Not only are there grammar mistakes (I didn’t even read all of them) but the one that shocked me was “di un puto mundo más”… it means “say one more world”. yes. one more WORLD” as in 🌎 . AND it changes the sentence completely since “word” in Spanish is feminine (“di una puta palabra más”) and nobody noticed that ?? (as a french person, genders matter a lot to me, even for nouns 😭) I don’t even wanna know the mistakes in Russian.
BUT BUT BUT, to end up on a good note, just one quote from my close second favorite MMC of the series:
“I smiled, full and bright, and fell to my knees. One knee wasn’t enough. Not for my Queen.” 😇

I'll keep it pretty short. It's finally Tati and Niko book and i was wondering what happened between them to make Tati not want to be around. And we finally got answers, and my heart broke for Tati, and I understood why she pushed Niko away.
We get Niko showing up for his woman grovling for what he put her, though, even if it really wasn't his fault.
We still get drama going around and family moments between everyone.
Low angst, no cheating, secondary characters, drama, sexy times, no virgins

I had really high expectations for this book and was legit enjoying it so much but I dnfed this book at 30%. Because of this one paragraph.

Tatiana??? The woman that you areeee. I’m in love with her. She’s such a badass and doesn’t accept shit from anyone. And Nikolai… the MAN that you are. I loved every second of this book.
I laughed (Lukyan I’m looking at you, I can’t wait to read his book), I cried, I stressed, I felt EVERYTHING. And the groveling??? When I say I want a man to grovel this is what I mean. Nikolai did not disappoint. He is the ultimate book boyfriend. I said what I said. No one is changing my mind.
And the plot?? It just keeps getting better with every book. I was never bored, never annoyed, just fully obsessed the whole time.

The way that this series has me locked in a chokehold like literally there’s so many god damn twists and turns so many heartbreak emotions running wild like I can’t get enough of this series. There is a lot of dark topics in these series for sure so always be wearing of reading the trigger warnings before you read them if you can think you can handle it. If I say this series is eating me up it definitely is I cannot put these Dow I’m obsessed with the characters some can be annoying but some literally have you broken.

The way that this series has me locked in a chokehold like literally there’s so many god damn twists and turns so many heartbreak emotions running wild like I can’t get enough of this series. There is a lot of dark topics in these series for sure so always be wearing of reading the trigger warnings before you read them if you can think you can handle it. If I say this series is eating me up it definitely is I cannot put these Dow I’m obsessed with the characters some can be annoying but some literally have you broken.

This book was beautiful. It is surely ONE OF MY TOP MOST FAVOURITE MAFIA books of all times . I loved Nikolai Volkov, he is soo soo my type, I found him the best Volkov brother till now xD . And this book is by far the best one in the series.
I am so excited to read Dimitri and Lukyan’s book 😭♥️.
Lastly I’m so so so impressed by TJ‘s writing The book was filled with amazing action, chemistry, angst and I loved each and every character in this BRATVA UNIVERSE.

The plot continues in this book and just keeps getting better.
We finally got answers, and my heart broke for Tatiana and Nikolai. There are so many emotions and heartbreaking moments. I cried reading this.
I loved their relationship, but I also really enjoyed the continuation of the underlying plot.
I can't wait to read more about Dimitri and Lukyan (december 😭).

5⭐️ the best in the series BY FAR. The previous books really lacked any sort of built emotional depth. NIKOLAI is a yearner!!! Him and Tatiana are second chance romance, which isn’t always my favorite, but they might have changed my mind. We got some crumbs of Nikolai and Tati in previous books, but I never expected their actual story/past. I LOVED THEM. He would literally do anything for her and I finally got that emotional aspect I was looking for.
The plot picks up right where the previous book left off…I’m really enjoying how wild and crazy the plot is regardless that it’s super unrealistic.

Nikolai Volkov is exactly my kind of man, and I’d do unspeakable things for him 🥵🥹
This man’s love language is almost definitely Acts of Service, and I’m here for it! I know a lot of people hate the second chance trope, but it was beautifully done. The way this man grovelled and earned her forgiveness for what he did brought tears to my eyes 😭
He was the epitome of a silent but deadly man with a mix of protectiveness and possessiveness that was so hot, and yet was a complete softy with her. The little gestures he made for her were everything any woman would want 🥹🥹🥹
Tati was a fun and badass bitch and I loved her too! They were truly perfect for eachother and I’m so happy they made it back to each other after everything they went through.
The flashback scenes completely destroyed me. I was sick while reading this, and the fact that I couldn’t stop crying almost put me in cardiac arrest, but it was worth it. Seeing such a strong man completely crumble in his grief was heartbreaking, and they both absolutely deserved their HEA.
The only reason this didn’t get a 5⭐️ rating was because it was a bit long, but other than that, I loved it! 🥰

Easiest 5 stars I have given in a while. This book was so addictively good! Nikolai and Tatiana are everything. Their story was heartbreaking but beautiful at the same time. I am amazed by how good the plot of this series is. It's incredible. This is the best mafia series I have read since the Dark Verse series. If you're thinking about reading this, do it. It truly is so, so good!!

4.75⭐️ (have to round up because Goodreads sucks) This was fabulous. I experienced every emotion possible while reading this, I cried (sobbed actually), laughed so hard, stress sweat, and swooned. Truly all of the above! I was so scared to read this because I did not like the last book at all, but this was everything I could have wanted. The second chance romance was done rightttt, and the trauma that both Nikolai and Tatiana went through broke my heart. And the PLOTTTT?!?!? Ate down. No crumbs. The last 100ish pages were soooo engaging, and the last 50?!?!? No, don’t even get me started, it was SO ACTION PACKED. AND THE CRUMBS FOR LUKYANS BOOOKKKK???!!!! Made me absolutely feral! I will be running to the next book. The ONLY reason why this isn’t a complete five star is because it is a tad bit long, but I enjoyed every part nonetheless. I am incredibly happy I gave this series another chance🖤❤️

The story doesn't really make sense. He is angry at her for "punishing him" like he told her in a fit of anger like "for how long are you gonna punish me huh?" Like he already knew why she was acting like that. Then when she told him thet it was because of the child and how he ignored her when she needed him, he dropped on his knees apologizing like he didn't just get pissed off at her. If that was when he found out why it doesn't make sense how he didn't think anything like "how could i do that" or idk, he didn't think about anything and it was in his pov. He just explained to us what he is doing, getting on his knees apologizing and hugging her stomach. But if he KNEW already why, it doesn't make sense why he would say something so insensitive only to drop on his knees when she explained or re-explained idk. Like what??? It doesn't make fucking sense. I can't even feel bad for them because i'm just fucking confused what is happening

Had to skip Bratva Prince because I ain't reading about a mmc having sex with other women and the fmc HAVING TO HEAR IT. Fuck that shit. Hopefully this one doesn't have scenes like that because i WILL lose my fucking mind 🤗
How should i take the situation seriously when they have a WHATSAPP GROUP with everyone including the GUARDS where they send emojis based on the situation. I'm laughing so hard even typing this
The story doesn't really make sense. He is angry at her for "punishing him" like he told her in a fit of anger like "for how long are you gonna punish me huh?" Like he already knew why she was acting like that. Then when she told him thet it was because of the child and how he ignored her when she needed him, he dropped on his knees apologizing like he didn't just get pissed off at her. If that was when he found out why it doesn't make sense how he didn't think anything like "how could i do that" or idk, he didn't think about anything and it was in his pov. He just explained to us what he is doing, getting on his knees apologizing and hugging her stomach. But if he KNEW already why, it doesn't make sense why he would say something so insensitive only to drop on his knees when she explained or re-explained idk. Like what??? It doesn't make fucking sense. I can't even feel bad for them because i'm just fucking confused what is happening
And how the fuck??? Didn't her friend notice her "SWOLLEN" abdomen. If the child is already kicking then the stomach should be swollen enough to be noticed. I'm so confused 😭😭😭😭

Seeing the fmc react angrily at the things I TOO react very badly is kinda funny.

All I could hear(or read) was "LET YOU"
Then the fmc also said while i thought that, "LET ME?"
Can the author calm down a bit with making each and every fmc Jackie fucking Chan?? I love a badass fmc like Lana Myers from The Mindfuck series, who knows martial arts and kills people and is a complete badass but not in the most "i'm not like other girls" way bruh. She's strong but not in a way that she turns into Jackie Chan every other page because something slightly annoying happened. And istg it's so annoying when the fmc practices fucking hardcore martial arts on a man because he slightly annoyed her. Idc about the, "but if the roles were reversed" stuff, but I do care that the author is trying SO FUCKING HARD TO MAKE THEM BADASS AND ENDS UP MAKING THEM SO CRINGE

WHAT THE FFFFFCCCCKKKKKK!!! God this is the BEST DAMN BOOK IN THE SERIES, no actually this is my absolute favourite mafia romance book HANDS DOWN.
Nikolai and Tatiana are both as feral as eachother, they are a level of unhinged that I cannot even begin to cope with. Second chance romance is not usually my gig but this was INCREDIBLE.
I have cried so many tears over their story, I have cried so many tears over this family. The tension and the yearning between nikolai & tatiana is just heart wrenching. I actually have physical pain in my chest because of how much their story hurts me to think about.
Also Nikolai is such an acts of service man, literally helping her cut fabric & make alterations to her designs? There is nothing this man won’t do.
I might go and cry now because I’ll never get to read this again for the first time
